  1. Death plateau is good for troll tasks. You can set up a cannon there if you want fast ranged and slayer xp. There are several kinds of trolls there. I usually kill the high leveled ones (at the west side of the plateau0 while I have prayer, then switch to regualr ones.
  2. I hate the wilderness. I hate walking a long rune even more! Hence: the abyss. PKers: annoyance. Even IF they manage to PK me, they get: a: iron wc axe b: pure ess (which they cant take much in inv, and costs relatively zilch) c: duel ring. Whose time are they wasting anyway? They don't get anything from me that is worth the runes they are using to "KO" me, with no armour, food, shield or anything whatsover!
  3. * dying to a swarm! (nature called) * no dragon drops * best drop: rune scimmy #-o * too chicken to go to barrows (ok that's not bad luck)
  4. Rumour has it that here was one in Knossos, some 3500 years ago. King Minos of Crete (current Greece) built a maze to keep it captured. The greek hero Theseus killed it (he really p00ned its, without a whip, probably with a bronze sword!), and it never respawned. I'm not sure about the drop. I might sent a bug report to JaGEx about that.... :-w
  5. If you don't like to "powerfarm" (=teleporting to and from patch to patch) I recommend "passing-by farming". Just farm every patch you encounter when you are in its vincinity. It's helpfull to know where they are located. For example, if you want to go from Falador to Draynor, take seeds with you and farm the in between patch, instead of glory-ing! If you do this consequently, you'll end op with lots of "passing-by" farming experience. It's not fast, but it provides some diversion from in-between stuff to do. Also, do it inbetween "tasks" like slayer (morytania patches, Ardougne patch+ fire giant banking), law running (w66 law running + Falador patch) picking flax/bowstrings/maples + seers hop patch) or fishing (catherby patch + fruit tree patch). Use super compost, especially on limwurt roots (mine are often dead, even thouigh I'm 60 farming!!! :shock:0 higher lvl alotment like sweetcorn, strawberries and watermellons and herbs. I use flowers too, because I have loads of seeds, and the little xp they give is just a little extra for 5 secs of extra work. No need to keep them in your bank, except maybe nasturtiums which are used to pay for wildblood hops.
  6. If you have the slayer level to back it up: bloodvelts. Lots of HP, safspots and blood rune drops. I don't like range. Even though my sig says otherwise.... It's too slow. To speed things up, you could use knives (iron are most common).
  7. Sell the bars, with the money you can buy more raw materials -> smelt, rinse, repeat. If you are member, you could consider making cannon balls. Thats more smithing exp, and more gp per bar (cballs sell for 200ea). If you really need magic xp, you can high-alch, but even then I recommend selling the bars and buy runes -> get some monsters! The drops would be an extra! good luck
  8. You have to do a mini quest to get access to the abyss. That's a breeze. Talk to the zammy mage a little north of Edgeville in lvl 5 or so wilderness to start it. There is an excellent guide here on tip.it in the runecrafting section check it out here. Mind you, using the abyss skulls you and drains prayer instantly to 0. As the entrance (the zammy guy teleports you) is in the wilderness, be prepared to encounter &^%&^$^Pkers. You can run past them, but especially the mages have entangle and/or teleblock. Take the necesary precautions. It's very fast, if you are willing to take the risk. I use the duel ring method, because i'm chickin'.....
  9. The death penalty is morally wrong, because "an eye for an eye" will leave us all blind. How can you condemn a person for a crime, and punish him by doing that exact same action to him? Furthermore, the death penalty is irreversible. You can't be "un-death penaltied". Especially with new forensic methods like DNA-stuff, people serving life time were freed because they were convicted for a crime they didn't commit. That would be a bit tricky when put to death, now wouldn't it? So I think they should be sent to a REAL prison (here in the Netherlands they are Hilton hotels with tv, internet and libraries) and be put to work (e.g. hard manual labor!) to be of service to the community.
  10. woodcutting: yews, they sell for 300 ea, or willows (should be FAST) for 30 ea. To get your magic up (isn't that bad *points at sig* ) you can fail curses by casting curse with full metal armour (any kind) on. If you craft your own (body?) runes you can get that skill up (lvl 44 for natures) at the same time. Mine the regular essence to maybe get your mining to 70 for addy. You might have pure essence in your bank, save it for members as it's like 3x as valuable! If you return to mmbers, use the RC skill of 44 to make nats -> big income! They sell for 300-350 ea, its all profit if you mine the essence (on members server!!!) yourself, but you can buy pure essence for about 100 ea -> 205 profit ea.
  11. Combining pots don't save space in bank account It does when he's keeping both 3 dose pots and 4 dose pots. This guy (?) has about all pots in duplicate, only the amount of doses is different. He'll get rid of the 3 dosers when he makes them into 4 dosers, thus aving i guess like 8+ bank spaces!
  12. combine the 3 dose pots into 4 doses: I usually do herblore in portions of 4, combining them into 4-dose pots Drop little book o'piracy, can get it back from Bill Teach I think If the white gloves are cooking gloves, you can dump them, get beck in Varrock Red banner (? next to darklight) -> get rid of it darklight: mount it in your house or get rid of it saw and hammer: you can get them in your house
  13. 2 out of 3 aint bad, eh? thanks for the corrections!
  14. attack: how often you successfully hit an opponent. strength: how much damage you do when you hit your opponent. defence: how often and how hard you get hit by an opponent.
  15. That is actually a good idea, if you NEVER return again. You could make some of you real life gp that you donated to JaGEx back. There is a risk involved, though: IF you can't help yourself and return, be prepared to be perm-banned like Duke_Freedom was.... RL trading is BAD! I would risk it if it was worth it and I was sure NEVER to return again.
  16. lol. me as wel. Had nothing on me then desert stuff, boots of lightness, prayer(+pots) and ran the whole pyramid (+pots, regular). Good luck, I heard it can get annoying...keep it up you'll get it in the end!
  17. 1: DO quests! ALWAYS! ALL OF THEM! 2: do clue scrolls! They usually rock, especially the lvl3 kind. And for me, the provide a nice break in hours of slaying. Last clue scroll (last night): lvl3 from turoth: rune platebody, 3(!) rune full helmets, 30 blood runes and 37 laws!!!!
  18. I tried MTK when Royal trouble wasn't out yet, and it was BAD! Don't invest your money in a kingdom if you didn't do royal trouble, it's a waste of time and money. You know the solution for this problem....
  19. I'm not sure what you mean, but if you mean the part where you have to escort the NPC back to the temple of the salve, and he dies (he actually flees!), yes, you have to do it again. You can supply him with food, armour and weapons if I remember correctly, look it up in the quest guide. Good luck!
  20. I SO support that! Maybe, this level 666 demon could also roam these forums, ripping heads off people that TYPE IN CAPS, usenospacesorinterpuctions, and abuse the word N00b, noob and all its forms... That would spice both the game AND the forums up a bit. Of course, you could always be saved by the typo-fairy, because there are lots of people here (like me) whose native language is not English. *edit: yay 300th post!*
  21. the druid in Taverly does also id herbs for a fee, don't know how much.
  22. I'm sorry but I don't meet the equirements. but as a tip, you might want to add your time zone to avoid the problems you stated in your post. Good luck on KQing!
  23. They are equal, as mentioned before. But fires are really easy to come by, I never crafted or bought many (1k MAX) and i have about 22k in the bank now from monster drops! Airs are a lot less common as monster drops, but are easily craftable in large quantities (lvl 55RC for 6x airs per ess!). So its really up to you! I have an air battle staf and and a couple of lava staffs. So infinite elementals for me! (I don't use much waters, get them 70 at the time from elves when slaying htem)
  24. Since you are combat lvl 110 or so, you should not have a problem to get it eventually. There is the above mentioned guide, some video's and our forum regular Muggi is a (self-proclaimed? :P ) expert on the matter. I heard even lvl 60's have one, so you should definately be able to get it. Take the right supplies, weapons and armour (provided in the guides), fail at least once :-w (Switching prayers on Jad takes some practise I heard) and you should be able to get it. You sure have the stats to back you up. I, of course, do not have one. Stuff to do, you know....
