Well I think the graphix are fairly bad after all, because this is a JAVA game. They will never be any good. So why update them? If I want stunning grafix, I'll play WoW or something. I like this game the way it is, I don't really need grafic updates (although I liked the new demons and dragons!) but welcome any that may come to us in the future.

If I recall, I believe that was Thundercats... Don't ask how I'd remember that... Err, Nope, it was He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. He-Man's arch-enemy was Skeletor who indeed had a skull for a face - though from memory he did have a bottom jaw and I don't think it was a mask :) The Thundercats arch-enemy was Mumra the ever-living. Anyway that's enough of that before I get a reputation  Man I like the cartoons in that time... I really liked the sword thing and the whole metamorphosis... Aaaah, those were the days (80's).... Furthermore, a "real" movie was made of He-man and the Masters of the Universe, starring Dolf Lundgren. Yes, it was bad. Yes, I saw it a gazillion times. Yes, I have no life....

Leo random event and costume room POH
transcript80 replied to transcript80's topic in Help and Advice
Then what is the whole point of this? I don't want a double zombie oufit, give me my measly 500gp for the trouble! -
the general store a bit north of Tai Bwo Wannai village has some in stock. No quest required, just walk south from brimhaven.
-
To save bank space, I put my full zombie outfit in the chest in my costume in my POH. But when I got the random again, Leo gave me a new mask! I want GP! I allready have the full set. Give me my precious 500 gp! Anyone have had this? Is it a glitch? The chest has been designed to save bank space?
-
Did you start the quest? I think you have to do it to be able to get the outfit as a drop.
-
I think you can just talk to the zealot for the key, else you don't need it. While you're there: get more then 1 crystal shard for more then 1 salve amulet. It's a pain to get all the way down in the mine. So you might just want several spare ones.

HELP! Going to be a member soon. What do I need What do I do
transcript80 replied to pipp_killa's topic in Help and Advice
Read the "new-to-members-guide" here at tip it. It shows members quests that help you unlock all areas, and a quick glance over the member skills. DO FARMING! Its cool! But don't watch it grow, because then it's boring. -
quests!!! Do them! There is a nice "new to members guide" here on tip.it that shows you the important ones. Lost city is requitred for d long and dagger, heros for baxe and mace.
-
I think it is NOT DONE to ask ppl to use your altar...but that's probably because I don't have one..... Usually, here on tip.it it is a friend's service to a fellow tip.it-er.
-
good one, I forgot about that one....
-
They can. some ppl take nightshade to lower hp for dharocking. Lower hp means higher max hit -> more exp. I think there is also nitroglycerin that can cause damage. The tooth thing is probably for fun, I've never seen it.

first off: It doesn't matter that you lost the rat! In the mansion: I assume you made it up to the trellis? That means you are inside. If not: wait till the guard is out of sight, run to the trellis. The rat in the north west corner should not be a problem, you can sneak past the guard quite easily. (only 1 guard) The other rat (south-east) is more of a problem, since you have to make sure BOTH guards don't see you. Be patient, discover the pattern, and once you see it, run for it! This is a bit luck related, I'm afraid. If you get caught, the pattern changes slightly, but there IS a pattern! Good luck, this quest is a major pain where the sun doesn't shine. I finished it with only devious minds to finish as last... That means something, because I LOVE quests!
-
The only places I know where to get them is either in the Tai Bwo Wannai store as you said, or get them during the clean-up minigame when you've hacked away a jungle patch. Be sure NOT to eat it! I think they are quite rare and I have never seen anyone selling one. I'm not sure what you would want with them, they are not great for farmers and when you trade the goutweed at Sanfew, you'll get random herbs. I always have bad luck in ANY random thing....
-
Like most of the other posters, I've gotten none so far. I did a lot of slayer tasks that involves lessers (I think 5+ with 100+ ea) and never got one, the same with skeletons. I kill every imp that crosses my path (even chase them!) -> no champion scroll. I guess they are afraid of me because i would own their hinies! :^o
-
That depends. If a monster has low HP, you slay more of them in shorter time while getting an equal amount of xp. But you'll get more drops! So if you are after stackable drops (runes, arrows, gp!) then you better take on a monster with lower hp. I would advise to take a monster with more HP then your max hit, else you would "waste" hits and have less exp per hour. There's a lot of info on hp and max hits here at tip.it I liked the fleshcrawlers in the SoS. Nice iron ore drops, as well as some other nice stuff (herbs in p2p) and I used little or no food to get an inventoy full of items. Also in SoS are minotaurs, they seen to have some very nice arrow drops, lots of them, multi combat -> train away! Good luck.
-
Use full rune to kill (hill or moss)giants for big bones. You might get some nice other drops as well, plus combat exp. When you get bored, merchant iron for gp if you want to. I'm not really a fan of "buying" a skill, so my method will probably not be the fastest of them all. I tend to try NOT to get bored and do most of the skill components myself. E.g. slaying dragons for dbones and hides (+combat exp) then ecto bones (max prayer exp) and tan/craft dragon hides. Preferably in combination with a slayer assignment. It might not be the fastest way to get exp, but it keeps boredom away!
-
make natures -> high alch yew longs! money maker #1 I guess. If you are too lazy to do [insert random activity here] then you probably end up nowhere. Everything (except maybe merchnting) requires actions...
-
Train combat using slayer: It's 2 skill combined. You can make money with this!! Train farming at least until you can grow ranarr weeds. You can either buy or steal from master farmers for ranarr seeds (25K ea) and sell the weeds for as much as 7k ea. Train herblore until you can make prayer pots. In some cases they sell for a hefty 10k (rare) or for 6-8k ea. If you want to MAKE money, stay away from construction. It is hard to get a profit from that (if possible at all) especially at lower levels. It provides some nice features, though... In my case: Tears of Guthix!!!! As posted before, setting a (reasonable) goals gets you going (*points at sig*) and gives you something to work for. Especially with the recent introduction of the 99 capes and the quest cape!
-
It is located at the roof of the troll stronghold. Quickest way there is via the Trollheim teleport. You get access to it after finishing the latest quest, the quest about the trolll My Arm. It's a fun quest, not too hard either. For ALL updates I think you better look at the RS knowledgebase for further instructions. A couple of quests, and of course the skill capes were added a few days ago. Also, recently the construction skill has been updated with a new room.
-
then u join the next game that starts. If you have priority <1, you have to wait.
-
method 1) keep the highest of each you can grow. Especially herb seeds for future herblore levels. It will cost less bank space. method 2) keep all seeds. This way, you can grow aotment to pay the farmer, instead of buying those goods. This way, you can farm every patch all the time. It's up to you. Good luck!
-
I don't remember the catch phrase, but it looks very different in your inventory and it also has its own stack in the inventory/bank.

My Arm's Big Adventure - A SaidinWoT Guide
transcript80 replied to SaidinWoT's topic in General Discussion
a reward picture! thanks man, great guide! -
Well, if you have protect from melee, you don't need any food at all! Maybe a prayer pot if you end up not hitting her, but you'll probably be able to do it! Be sure to take a 1-click teleport or ring of life in case things turn ugly!
