P2P but i havnt done that quest yet :? DO IT: in fact, do all quests! They Rock! The Arzinian mines do require a golden helmet that you get to make during the quest, and you need gold bars (I think 2) to make it. So mine at the crafting guild for some company and low yield (usually overcrowded) or "speedmine" at the Azinian mines for fast gold ores. Another tip regarding getting gold bars: when smelting your ores, use gold smithing gauntlets from the "family crest" quest to get loads of extra smithing xp. Did I mention to do ALL quests since questing ROCKS? Well, I just do it again!

Best place to cook at P2P worlds? [not Rogues' Den]
transcript80 replied to Krempstar's topic in Help and Advice
Why wouldn't one have access to the eternal fire in the rogue's denn? I thought the agility and thieving level applied to the maze/safes, not the chamber you arrive in when entering? -
That being said: How do people stack? Is it in alphabetic order (*changesRS name to "zzzzzzzzzzzz"*), combat level (high-low, or low-high?) or "time of arrival"?

Zamorak, Guthix, and Saradomin Hooded-Robes
transcript80 replied to inferno_char's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Yeah, what about us Guthixians? I think it is unfair in the first place that there aren't any Guthixian monks! Although Guthix has its own army, daily supported by thousands. Of course I refer to the void Knights in PC. But still, I think there should be Guthix monks with robes. *on topic* I like your graphix! They really rock! If there would be a similar set for us Guthixians, I would totally support the idea! -
This makes no sense: To be able to see into the infra-red spectrum, one would require GREEN eyes, since those would absorb all red light. ON TOPIC: I would like some original new beast (like choas elemental), not some copies thing from whatever fantasy book/saga/epic. RS=RS, not WoW, LOTR or whatever!
-
Another way is the ape atoll teleport. It uses runes AND A BANANANANANANA... (too much Swedish chef here....)
-
yes. And sometimes they contain tree seeds or fruit tree seeds or bird's eggs (no-one knows what they are about...) or jewelry. They are the only source of any tree seeds in the game by my knowledge.

Justification for Derelict Arrow Taking, so called Stealing
transcript80 replied to voncritic's topic in General Discussion
I totally support VonCritic here! It is not possible in RS to actually STEAL anything. The skill only apply to NPCs. All things visible to anyone, be it arrows, drops, mosters or ashes, are the possession of any of us! Therefor, it is impossible to steal something. It's visible, and by that, anyone with a mous in his/her hands has the right to click on it. *off topic* Who's the guy in you signature? He looks familiar... *on topic* Nice thread, well written and well thought! -
A party hat! Because all the other ones aren't tradable and i didn't play RS when they came out. I'm a relatively NEWB... Got them all since zombie head.... I like them, they are a kind of benchmark from when you started playing. Party hats are overrated and over priced, but that's another story. Like I could ever afford one.... #-o

Farming: It's time consuming. You need a lot of seeds. Especially tree seeds give loads of farming xp, so get those. They are expensive, though. What I do, is grow the highest allotment, herb and flower that I have the seeds for, using super compost for tomato and up. I don't do hops very much, only in between woodcutting/flax spinning in Seers, and only do bushes when I remember I'm gonna get close in one of my many trips throughout RS. "Powerfarming": trees all the way, but seeds ARE REALLY expensive... Herblore: Cheap way is serum 206: tarromins aren't really expensive, ashes can be collected for free, especially in Draynor village. Make sure you have lots of water filled vials, go to Draynor to collect ashes and go your merry way. If you decide to farm herbs: well, easiest is prayer pots using your own ranarrs. Snape grass can be easily collected either on waterbirth island or at the peninsula near the crafting guild. You could keep them for barrows or sell them and make money out of it. Thieving: erm...I don't really know, but in conjunction with the above: thieve from master farmers north of Ardougne. Keep the seeds you want, farm them at the nearby farming patch and steal cakes at the market square to heal yourself. 3-in-one!
-
I gather the battle staves every time I visit Varrock or Yanille. When in Yanille, I always ask Bert for my sand (about 1k now....) buy 5 b staves and go on with my merry business. Every once in a while I make a batch of molten glass, then into orbs. Tele to edge and make earth battle stafs, alch etc etc. The point is that I don't like server hopping. So I buy the staves in every occasion that I can. It really ads up uver time if you do it like that. Con is that you don't get IMMEDIATE xp/money for you bought battle staves.
-
another important one: runes! Especially law and natures. Law for teleport (You don't want to travel through the members world by foot :wall: ) and natures for the allmighty gp-machine called high-alchemy. And for more transportation: duel rings and games neclace. I only keep one at the time to save inventory spots since you can't stack rings/neclaces with different amounts of charges. If you unlock morytania (sp), keep the afore mentioned ectophial, and a couple of ghost speak amulets. Once you get into runecrafting, keep all pouches you can use in your bank. If you really need space, you can drop the smallest one since it is easily replaced, but the bigger ones can be a pest to get. DAM YOU abyssal PKers! And of course all the afore mentioned stuff. Except for the spade, since mine is stored in the tool shed with the leprichaun with my other farming stuff.

A warm welcome and your first HYT!!!!

Lvl 72 tryin for 60 def, lookin for good training spots!!!!!
transcript80 replied to zack21's topic in Help and Advice
Do as the guy before posted: combine with slayer. Slayer ceatures can give you some pretty nice drops! Black or gold mystic items, limpwurt roots (MAN those are hard to come by!),rune essence, herbs, armored boots, and LOADS or runes (pyrefiends! they gave me 500-1k fires a trip!) And not to mention: CLUE SCROLLS!! I got addy (g) plate yesterday from a lvl2 clue obtained by a s;ayer assignment od140 jungle horrors! If you don't mind drops, go with pest control, but it will not be THAT fast since the fast-game-loads-of-points-clans like Affliction only accept lvl 90+ people. I do/did slayer because you don't get bored easily because you have to change your monster every once in a while. -
Get as much prayer bonus as stated before, and when you have to cross the handholds, take a sip of agility potion to increase your chance of success. I think you only have to cross them once or twice successfully, so during the other trips, take a prayer pot (4 dose of course) instead. Take prayer pots and/or food in case you get hit (I took some tuna and sweetcorn potatoes) Be prepared to make lots of bank trips. To save one more inventory spot, use a 1-space teleport (tablet, ectophial or even better: duel ring since it gets you to a bank-> teleport ardougne from there or walk....) instead of 2 laws and 2 wtaers to Ardougne
-
If you finished the quest, I think you can enter the city without one. If you didn't, do so! :P If you can't, maybe kill a mourner? I'm sure you tried the girl you got it from initially? good luck!

EXCELLENT IDEA FOR PLAYER HOUSES-- MUST READ
transcript80 replied to Smurfs's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I'm goign to have to agree with you... Some serious change needs to be made to the games room first (stake, anyone?) before this should happen. Other then that, the games room is all 1 on 1, where the other games are multi-people games. So this should most definitly require another room to make. I second that! and: the games neclace could be a "burthorpe/slayer neclace" I like it's teleports!!! Nice for Troll assignments, or access to the warrior guid. As mentioned, the games room is deserted anywhere anytime. Why not incorporate it in POH's since it's mostly friends that play the games anyway. -
throw away: bazooka from ME1 watering can (store them with the leprichaun) sacks (I think they are pretty useless anyway when you want to store allotment in your bank) Brown apron (you finished "swan song" so you can get another from the necromancer 2 steps from the crafting guild) the amulet next to the ghostspeak amulet is also from a quest: get rid of it, it can be replaced if you need it! Little book 'o piracy: you don't need it, and can be replace by talking to Bill Teach I think. Blue lantern: replce the lens and you can stack it with the normal bullseye lantern, you don't need a blue one.

Just posting a "HYT" here. Have fun on these forums, they are as addicting as the game

Take a dose of agility potion and go barbarian course, becaus you'll fail a lot in brimhaven (so no tickets = bulk exp) and in the pyramid also. Personally, I don't like the pyramid because at low(ish) level you need a lot of food becasue of the failing, AND waterskins to stay alive in the desert. The skins take inventory space that was better used on food... I would train barbarian or gnome till lvl 40, so you can take all obstacles in Brimhaven. Then go there, take some food (cakes) to stay low on health. The less HP, the less damage you take when you fail an obstacle. REMEMBER: 0 hp staill causes death and a free Lumbridge/Falador teleport :P .You can take a few agility pots (4) to boost it up or to regenerate lost agility levels faster, because you'll fail the "matrix darts" fairly often. Try to get at least 100 tickets before trading them in. It's not THAT hard, but for me stacking it up to 1k was taking TOO long... If you can stand it, great! To even gain xp faster in the brimhave arena, you should do some of the easier obstacles (low wall climb for example) when you are waiting for the arrow to change. Other people use this time to chat or high-ach, it's up to you. Over all: AGILITY, A PAIN TO RAISE!
-
always 100+ unless wall change REaLLy quickly. Max was like 130 or so... *points to sig* I like my nice and green quest book journal thingy!
-
Fire giants are also found in the smoke dungeon. You need to wear a face mask to enter, and to have started desert treasure. Because the waterfall is most of the time crowded, I trained over there in the desert. This dungeon is usually deserted. (lol...PUN!) For the waterfalls: you need to have started (maybe finished) the waterfall quest to be able to enter that spot.
-
I think you don't have another choice then gnomes course. You can do some of the brimhaven obstacles, but you'll fail quite a lot and wont get much tickets. Gnome course is boring bu there's no other choice till lvl 30 where you summer pie yourself into the barbarian course. I don't know about skull ball being good or not, but you need 60 agility to be able to enter there, so it's kinda out of reach for you. If you meant gnome ball: I have NO idea.
