  1. I finished all quests. Last one was MEPII, at 89 combat. That was after 2 years of playing, of which 1 year of members. I finished all F2P quests before I got members. So about half a year on members to complete all quests.
  2. Proselyte armour - can be bought after the "Wanted!" quest. Initiate armour can be bought after the "Wanted" quest. The proselyte (pros) armour can be bought after the "Slug menace" quest, the sequel to "Wanted". It has better prayer bonusses then initiate. All armour is purchased from Sir Tiffy in Falador park, btw.
  3. I beat it quite easily. In the maze, pray protecy from magic, but only when you see a yellow dot on your way. Just walk your way through, and run past the scarab mages while praying. Be carefull for the traps (floor, walls, scarabs!) and you should use little/no food at all. Of course, use Tip.it's map to avoid getting lost. NEVER forget bullseye lantern AND a tinderbox! For the end fight, I showed up in full rune, prayed protect from melee and used 1 prayer pot (4) and 1 dose of super attack and super strength potion. I used tuna potatoes, but I guess sharks will do as well. Ring of life and ecto/one-click tele recommended as panic button. By the way, if I remember correctly, you can only use butterflies on OTHER players, not on yourself.
  4. you need to have finished a quest to be able to get in, it's the touist trap quest.
  5. The treasure trail locater indicates a spot IN the arena!
  6. Depending on your WC level: cut willows (fast) and burn them. This is cheap because it cost you nothing! cutting yes is staid to be low under 75WC, after that you could consider it. anothe option is to cut yews, sell them, and buw willows. In that case, yews 270 ea = 9 willows 30 ea! Or 12 ea in a F2P shop with loads in stock. If you dicide to buy all logs, you are best served in a F2p world with many logs in stock, for example the Varrock or Lumbridge stores. Here, logs will cost 12 ea I think.
  7. read the guide! it involves quite a bit of luck, too. It took me several hours of trying. You have to stand there long enough to get a hold on the pattern the guards use. Make sure you have enoughrun energy to make the sprint! Good luck!
  8. Oak planks are the least expensive way. Especially when you cut your own logs. You can hire a butler to bring the logs to the saw mill, speeding up things. Overall, you'll lose a packload of money, which is the pupose of the whole skil.....
  9. finish the slug menace quest. After that, you can buy it from Sir Tiffy in Falador park
  10. Yeah, it falls out of the skies every once in a while.... Anyway...Steel bars are your best option. Especially when you mine your own iron and coal (coal may be hard). If you raise fishing until you can fly fish (or lobsters, even better) they seel for some nice gp as well, and fly fishing is quick. Woodcutting willows for 30-35 ea can give some nice cash as well.
  11. Yes to all. Added: a higher RC level gives multiple runes per essence. So at 55 RC, you get 6x airs per ess, lvl 56 gives 5x minds I think, and so on. There is a table of multiple runes per essence in Tip.It's runecrafting guide.
  12. It took me over 25 picklocks to open the chest (at minimal thieving lvl). I heard of cases that succeeded after DOZENS of lock picks. You can buy the lock picks in the rogues denn for a few gp each. I suggest buying A LOT (e.g. 20-50) of them, bank them, and make trips to the bandit camp loaded with lock picks (use carpets, might suggest ring of charos (u) to reduce cost) and an anti poisen pot. In case you can't open the chest, glory back to Al-Kharid for moe lock picks from your bank. Good luck!
  13. PC is most effective when playing the famous 1-minute games with a PC clan. Obviously, your combat level is too low to join the most well-knoiwn ones. So, for you, only "long" games are an option, and you log in to "any" PC world, in which a win is not *guaranteed*. Therefor, you get your normal combat exp, but no/little points for extra experience, which is not *that* effective. I think training combat with for example slayer assignments is more effective for you. At least you'll get some money from monster drops!
  14. none. I have never owned one, probabably never will since merchanting is not my trait. 5M doesn't get you anywhere....
  15. 1: light gear: boots of lightness, spotted/spottier cape. Maybe mage protection gear, like green d-hide. 2: no. You arrive directly at the choas altar.
  16. +1! Also, assuming you want the seaweed to make soda ash for crafting, you can buy the ash at the charter ships as well. They are in Catherby (as stated), port Phasmathys (SP?), port Sarim and Karamja. There are some others, but they are remote.... Note: All the charter ships have a "common bank", so if they are sold out in 1 place (e.g. port Sarim) they are also sold out in karamja.
  17. Uncuts are hard to come by. You can steal them in the rogues denn when cracking the safes. With the cut gems, you can make gold jewelry, which is good exp, especially amulets. Flax is considered nice exp as it is straightforward. Might be a bit boring to do 15k in one go, so do 1k a day (keeps doctor away) and you can sell the strings for 150-200 ea. from lvl 56 on, make water (or better as your level increases) battle staves from scrtch. You get exp from making the glass, blowing the orb, enchanting the orb, and finally a lot of crafting exp per staff when yo u attach the orb. Buy staves whenever you are in Varrock or Yanille, the are hard to come by. Good luck
  18. get a bucket of sand and some soda ash (buy it or cook seaweed to get it) and use them on a furnace (NOT a stove!) like you do when melting ores. Voila, molten glass. P2P only, btw.
  19. The same way you got it in the first place. Go to the entrana dungeon and cut a branch from the tree. The hatchet is a drop from the monsters there. You might want to cut a few branches when you're there, to avoid getting there again as it is kinda a pain. good luck
  20. Barbarian until 45 or so, then brimhaven agility arena. Save as many tickets as you can (100 at least), to get extra agility exp. The arena is much more fun (less boring) then the barbasian course. You can also take stuff to high-alch in between ticket changes. In brimhaven, take food (cakes from Ardougne stall are ok) to heal if your hp drop below 10 or so. The lower your hp, the less damage you get when failing an obstacle. You can also bring agility pots to improve your overall performance or to restore lost agility levels from failing the darts. Good luck
  21. You can Dhraock the big gorillas at ape atoll. They have many hp, and if you get yourself at low HP, you can Dharock them quite efficiently, I heard. There is an altar there to recharge prayer, so no use for prayer pots. Of course, protect from melee is a must. Keep a look at prayer points ALL the time, as Dharocking CAN be risky business.
  22. the new god cloacks, mitres and stoles give a prayer boost in the cape, headgear and amulet spot. Also, if you have 2 or more 99 skills, the trimmed cape gives a prayer bonus as well.
  23. You let out the cost for buying rings of forging. I have no idea on th price, but you use one per 5 full load (5*28=140 ores). So on 50K ores you use 357-odd forging rings. Add that to the costs and your profit will be lower. Unless you have 358 cut rubies and gold bars lying around and have the crafting level (and time) to make them yourself...
  24. The farming patch for the "special" bittercap mushrooms in Canifis is located next to the fairy ring (CKS) so that might be added in the "route" box. It is MUCH faster/closer then the ectophial route that is there at the moment.
