Right right. A few things... When was the last time you saw a perfectly flat horizon? And black clouds? Try and give the stars a bit of aa, and maybe a little less perfect looking, like my avatar. The guy on the left, his shoes need shading. Also the axe, its like, perfectly inline with the view, so it looks a little strange, try and give it some angle, and look at some reference pics of axes, because the blades look like triangles.

The reason he is a pirate is because he wears a black headband with the jolly rodger insignia on the front of it. Strapped to his head under the headband are a small number of army grenades (You know, for ease of access, as you do), if you don't get what I mean I'll talk to you later or draw a picture or something. ;) Thank you.
