  1. Some people don't even look at the monitor D: At one airport I was at, the two people who were supposed to be looking at the monitor were both on their cell phones texting or playing a game or something.
  2. Under the Christmas tree!
  3. Hahah Home Alone is great. I watched Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs on the airplane :XD: It was kind of funny but also really weird. I missed the first 15 minutes and skipped the last 15 minutes though, but I don't think I missed anything. I'm going to see It's Complicated tonight, I think.
  4. Well I just came back to the US from Argentina and security was pretty bad. In the security line they patted everyone down then after security before boarding the plane, they searched through everyone's carryon bags and patted each person down again. We had to remain seated for the last 30 minutes of the flight. Not the worst security I've been through in terms of wait time, but it was still ridiculous. They didn't even THOROUGHLY search the bags. They just unzipped them and peaked inside.. pretty pointless really.
  5. It's 2010 where I am now! :D I went to a cheesy - but fun - party at the Four Seasons hotel in Buenos Aires XD Happy new year ;)

I'm currently reading Pirate Latitudes. About half way through, I haven't had that much time to read since i started it.
  7. I don't think that removing ratings would fix a problem. If people can't make negative ratings, then they will leave negative comments which can oftentimes be MORE hurtful. Currently, people are allowed to rate honestly, but if you see ratings with negative/hurtful implications, report it and a moderator will take a look and remove it if necessary. I'm honestly not much of a fan of ratings in general and whenever I post there, it's usually a "Congratulations" and another comment or two. That being said, I don't think there is a problem with the current system. And if there was, I don't think it would get any better by removing ratings. People would still find a way to get a negative message across. Again, just report any negative posts that violate the rules and they will be dealt with.
  8. I watched State of Play and Ghostbusters last night. Enjoyed both of them a lot :) I agree, stonewall, that I wouldn't watch it over and over again. Tonight is probably The Escapist.
  9. I remember when I was going on vacation a few weeks after 9/11 and the security line was 4+ hours long and wrapped around inside of the airport and even when outside at one point D:
  10. Flat On The Floor by Carrie Underwood
  11. Oh goody, I'm currently on vacation in Brazil and will be coming back to the US next week :XD: This should be interesting.

That happens to me all the time D: My parents have absolutely NO food in the house. Sometimes we are even without bread so it's not even as if I can resort to a PB&J sandwich or something. I just sit there and find like milk, spices, some nasty cereal and lettuce o_O
  13. I just thought I would point out the very significant fact that with that post you now have > 9000 posts; a winner is you. Have you ever tried mahi-mahi, swordfish, or shark? All of those dense fish meats are rather similar taste-wise to chicken and still have a tenderness only found in fish. Haha go me :XD: I have actually tried swordfish. That's the ONE fish that I tolerate, and for the reason that you pointed out (it doesn't taste fishy and is quite similar to chicken). I did have Mahi-Mahi years ago but can't remember liking it or not or what it tasted like. And I don't think I'll ever be trying shark :x

Putt Putt Freddi Fish Sim City Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Some zoo game I can't remember the name of And a couple others that I also can't remember the names of.. But Putt Putt Saves The Zoo was the best
  15. Seafood grosses me out. My mom and sister ordered an octopus appetizer for dinner and I was freaking out for a good 15 minutes.
  16. Sounds like it hurt, but the cuts don't look *that* bad :P I don't really have any fun cut stories. I guess the best one I have is cutting my thumb on a spiky belt like 5 years ago. I still have a scar :D
  17. I would have stayed if not for them, but I can't enjoy a movie while watching it with somebody who doesn't like it. Somehow I agree with your points on The International, too. Lack of action brought it down a peg or two. And I liked Star Trek. Ah, but I haven't seen Ocean's Eleven. I just watched Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, which was quite entertaining, despite the excessive nudity. I have also recently watched Die Hard (it was on TV), Die Hard 2 (also on TV), and The Bourne Supremacy/Ultimatum (DVDs). I skipped Identity because I don't have a copy of it in my room. All great movies, of course. All the Ocean's movies are epic! :o For movies I haven't seen, I recently saw: Inglourious Basterds The New World I enjoyed Inglourious Basterds and The New World was alright.. but at times it felt like it wasn't heading anywhere and I couldn't decide which man to root for (John Smith or Christian Bale's character) :XD: I have a lot on my list for upcoming movies to watch: Ghostbusters The Escapist State of Play 5 early Batman films I'm falling behind! D:
  18. Not at all. Throughout my years at high school and below, I was oftentimes the only person to nicely talk to some of the unattractive people. Of course, that was often a bit of a problem for me because since I was the only person talking to/being nice to them, some of them got a little clingy and thought I was their best friend D:
