Stop changing your name, nub. And I believe it's 75.

-Fast and Easy Money from Level 1 Clues- [Version 2.1]
Tact replied to Tact's topic in General Guides
Yeah, there are some parts of the guide that need a bit of updating. I personally took at least 10 of each rune, elemental or otherwise. -
I did. Doesn't work, nor do rings of recoil.

I'm assuming you all know how his attacks work and the pattern they go in. I also tested zs vs whip + defender, and whip is better by far. My method:
-
Yes, it's kept safe by your grave.

What you're suggesting would take it out of the Grandmaster classification entirely. Nomad was frustrating at first, but once I did some trial runs and got his attack pattern down, it's more of an issue of whether or not you eat at the right time. I'm not saying it was simple for me, but without trying it out yourself, it's difficult to explain.

  You forgot to bold the yak. :-D

You mean when he goes into berserker mode? That was the easiest part for me, since he stopped moving around and activating special attacks. Keep piety on, but flick on protect from melee as well. Prayer drain is a non-issue since you'll be sipping super restores with some regularity. Keep an eye on your health (I stayed above 40hp), but he doesn't hit that often. Finish him off with whip and any dds specs you may have. He hits a lot on me. Last time so fast that I couldn't even heal. And I used ranged. After looking at you stats, your best bet would be in meleeing him, or bringing along/sipping a range potion. Ruby (e) bolts may be tempting, but whip and dds hit more frequently, and your melee skills are slightly higher than range. For you, I'd also bring less rocktails and more brews/super restores because defense and healing are going to be extremely important.

67 summoning is recommended for war tortoise. Look to my post at the bottom of the previous page for a more detailed explanation and method.

So that explains why I see such an increase in the number of people doing that there. As for a strategy:
-
I posted how I beat Nomad in hopes that it would help other people succeed as well. I don't have the highest stats, and it took me many (8?) deaths and several trial runs before I hit upon the method that worked for me. Unfortunately stormveritas, not everyone who plays Runescape has the maturity level that you or I may desire. I wouldn't say your post is helping any matters though; it's more likely to start a flame war.

What exactly are Zemouregal's notes? Do you access them during a quest?
-
Void appears under your grave. You also lose anything that has a "destroy" option on it. This means accumulator, lumby ring, and torso, among others.
-
I just beat the nomad. Stats: 90 attack 90 strength 88 defense 92 hitpoints 82 range 96 magic 70 prayer 67 summoning (got it just for this quest) 60 herblore 120 combat Equipped: Full melee void Dragon dagger Rune defender Untrimmed skill cape Dragon boots Broad bolts Fury In Inventory: Whip Rune crossbow 1 Prayer potion (4) 12 Sara brews (4) 6 Super restores (4) Rest was rocktail Also had a tortoise full of rocktail. I took 1 sip of a super set and ate a rocktail at the bank. Went down, prayed piety, and used up by dds specs. Then I switched to whip, and hammered away. During the fight, I ate the rocktail first to conserve my boosted melee stats, and withdrew as needed from my tortoise. Prayer potion ran out at about the same time my rocktails did. As soon as he started charging for this 2nd attack, I ran south of of minefield then due east to behind a pillar. No need to hide before then. During freezing attack, I switched to rune cbow and eagle eye prayer, and used dds specs whenever the spec bar got above 50%. When he went in beserker mode, I also switched on protect melee prayer. Other than that, it's mainly sipping pots when you need it; most of the time I kept my hp above 32. Void works because the 15% to accuracy and damage really helps, and its magic defense isn't too shabby. I tested void range before my successful fight, and it works well too. Good luck to you all.

Not all Bounty Hunter worlds are +1 item, although the ones that aren't are less crowded (whether that's good or not is your personal preference). You could also go on a PvP world.

Teaks may be faster if you combine your woodcutting and firemaking xp, but large sawmill tasks are definitely the fastest method for pure woodcutting xp. Several months ago, I tried it at 90 woodcutting, and with a crystal saw, I was getting ~90k xp an hour. However, you do have to pay quite a bit of attention, so ivy is a good alternative. With clay hatchets, 130k+ xp an hour is possible.

Get 52 prayer for smite? One extra defense level shouldn't make that much of a difference, unless you're a perfectionist and it bugs you.

10-12 tuna is enough for me. By the time my food runs out my inventory is full of herbs and other drops.
-
I think macaw would be better than a bunyip for the improved herb drops. Personally, I don't mind banking a few times during my task. It's not a long trip, and I can keep more of the herbs I get.
-
I don't include those because there's no reason to cut logs, mine ores, and fish fish. You're better off mhing or something and buying them. You didn't, but previous posters did. I'm just pointing out that while magic has a different damage system compared to other forms of combat, it still qualifies as more useful at 99 than at 96.
-
Magic is still more useful at 99 than it is at 96. Granted, there are no more useful spells to unlock past that level (excluding Miasmic Barrage, which is only used in specialized PvP situations), but a higher magic level still increases the accuracy of your spells. If you're going to include woodcutting, fishing, and mining on your lists due to their faster gathering rates at 99 and not because of any new content at that level, magic should follow those same lines.

After Azzanadra (imbued with Zaros) is stabbed by Lucien, does that mean Zaros is finished as a god for good? I suppose this quest is intended as the final part of the Mahjarrat series, although I'm not sure it satisfactorily ties up all the loose ends from the various "branch" quests.
