That's what I'm referring to. Before today, I was getting 10 xp per 10 essence crafted. Then came the inflated xp values. And just before the system went down, I tested RCing again and got 1 xp per 10 essence.

  4. I not sure RS really needs a couple more high-powered melee weapons. The combat triangle is still not balanced as it is.
  5. Thanks for support and interest guys. I'll think about adding farming in somehow, but the nature of farming involves a lot of time, more so than perhaps a 20 minute round can provide. Changed basin drain rate to 1 pump per 20 seconds. I hope that's not too fast still.
  6. If you're serious about slayer, ditch your claws and save up for a SGS. An EE makes a weaker substitute, but I find the prayer restore of a SGS special a great help when using 10% strength boosting prayer.

  11. So what is the thing you get? Does it do anything? And because the statue breaks, does that mean the entire series is repeatable?

  14. Most interesting part, smithing update has only recently entered the planning stages. I'm not expecting one until late summer at the earliest...
  15. Very true. I see Jagex has finally corrected part of the combat triangle as it applies to slayer, but once again implemented content almost has an afterthought. It's hardly fair to rangers and magers that the black mask is straightforward and a lot easier to get than its equivalents. Even after prices have stabilized, it will still be more expensive to train slayer with those two styles compared to melee, a fact made worse by this price and effort disparity. Face it, Jagex still has a mindset favoring one combat style.

  17. The part most people miss is that 1500 zeal would take around 250 hours. Semi-AFKing 250 hours is not the same as spending that same amount of time training combat the old-fashioned way. Combat capes have not been ruined, but Soul Wars has made it easier.

  19. Yes. With the exception of some concepts, all the work you see was done by myself. I initially thought that spinning dried herbs into incense bundles would be similar to spinning flax into bowstrings, which gives crafting xp. However, the player already get crafting xp from cutting the gems and fitting them into the beacons, so I've followed your suggestion and changed it to herblore xp instead. They do, don't they? I'm sure people will find interesting ways of using them if these prayers are ever released into the game. Originally, Fortitude was named Deflection, and would have worked in a similar manner to the Deflect prayers now found in the ancient hymnal. I've had to tweak their effects a bit since that piece of content was released.
  20. An image of Mirrored Gem rocks and a map of the playing area has been added: Key: The Saradomin base is marked in blue while the Zamorak base is denoted by red. An enclosed colored rectangle is where rituals take place. Supply tables are found within the walls of each base. Altars are marked as yellow four-pointed stars. Healing fonts are marked as red hearts. Tombs are marked as blue crosses. Purple diamonds mark the location of rock outcroppings that hold Mirrored Gems. These pillars are surrounded by a maze of rubble and boulders, shown as a series of concentric lines. Green rectangles are where herbs may be found. A green dot show the tent where incense is prepared. Orange lines are lava, and are uncrossable. Dark grey lines are low walls, also uncrossable.

  23. I was slaying elves and recharging my prayer in the altar above Lletya (for the record, my combat level is 121). The only other person there was this level 100. He had on a neitznot helm, Guthan's body, Torag's legs, legend's cape, a whip, and a dragon square shield. This was the conversation that ensued:
