As soon as the bow is being drawn back, click the R2H and click to reattack your opponent. Provided your attack click is quick enough your R2H hit will seem to hit almost instantly after your arrow.
  2. 99 def for sure. Tank rangers are king pin of BH and PvP.
  3. BH - you get tagged non stop by every 54/55 tag team in sight. Unless you have your own team, or stick within running distance of the edge, BH is a waste of time. At combat 54/55 though, BH is a lot more fun, and can be successful on your own. PvP, at level 52ish - you are up against lvl's 62 strength pures. these guys wil be hiting 20's on you with scims. Do NOT fight these guys - Do as per Monty Python and run away! You will fare quite nicely against other player os similar combat level. Note that a level 55 ranger will have 77 range, and hit 1 higher than you, and will also have 71+ strength hitting 1 higher than your max with R2H. So: 1 &2) Wear coif, str ammy, leather body, green legs/vambs, normal boots and any cape. Have your maple short and 75ish addy arrows on board. In your inverntory should be 1 str pot, 1 R2H, and the rest swordies. For BH, take out 3 swordies and replace with 10 laws/fires/airs for Bounty Locate spells. 3) Better at PvP in my opinion, unless you are part of a large BH team. 4) That'll do nicely. Next step is 77 range, 75 stre and 71ish hp at 55 combat. Once you hit 56 combat, you can think about 31 pray and progressing to be a str pure.
  4. Minor swearing will incur a small amount of black marks, whilst walking around lumby throwing a major tanty will probably result in a swift ban primarily due to the hundreds of reports against you in about 10 seconds!
  5. Here is what I did from 80-99: 80-91 all at fire giants. Gained a lot of cash from it, and you can stay there forever, only banking when you are full to the brim of ranaars and rune. 91-97 was at avianses and fire giants with the occasional 1.5hr trip to Ape Atol thrown in for good measure. XP rate at avianses was slightly lower than fire giants, but profit was a lot higher. This profit enabled me to go chinning once every 4 hours of avianse training. 97-99 was almost entirely through chinning. The few times I went prior to this was so quick, avianses/fire giants are a drag afterwards. You will get 230k xp per hour easily at 97 range using range pots and a lot more using range boosting prayer and full void. Chinning is expensive, but so fast you can hardly turn down the opportunity.
  6. An interesting build for sure. With 40 range, 1 att, 60 str, you will be around the cb 33 mark, and will be right in the midst of all the f2p magers. Wearing the right dhide gear will hepl you out a lot, and I'm not sure what the max hit for a rune pick will be at 60 str, but I'm sure it'll frighten the pants off a mge! Worth it to see the magers running :) A bonus is that if you switch to P2P, you can easily pk immediately and very successfully as an obby mauler. There are also a lot more training weapons available to you as a member.
  7. Scary man, scary - never have I seen the sattement - just get 90 prayer lolz. I hope your bank account can handle it after the chins! Pk a few DFS's, or DFH's and it could be done :) Good luck - you have awesome goals ahead of you.
  8. I agree with Rsfreak on the Pker builds. And to answer your other question - definitely get 1 month of members on your pure once you are around the 50 combat mark (takes a couple of weeks max). Train either your range, or strength (or both) on fleshies and bank all herbs 1.5k+, iron ores and runes. Do that for a month and you will earn around 10M to spend on pking supplies. that'll last you a very long time in F2P PvP! There is much better training equipment in P2P to speed up your training a lot!
  9. Nope, level 80's with 1 def are a rarity these days, so you would be one of a handful still aorund. Best of luck sticking it out! It's a hard slog training strength in P2P with 40/50 attack and 1 def. Range is a piece of cake, esp with 43 pray. Avianses are your friend! Range em for massive profit, and spend the profit on chins. Easiest and quickest way to 99 range unless you are already rich and can blow 40M+ on chins right now!
  10. Sounds like training in wildy is going to be a goer!
  11. 7/10 due to pray and low hp :P Room to improve though since you have 2 more cb levels to go. As long you aren't one of those 'omfg - loser protected his scim' types, then getting pray to protect item is fine. Just never moan to others about lack of drops. With your current stats, I would go only for scim/R2H melee into lower level BH. Build up only on str levels until you are 55 combat, and keep playing havoc with others til it pushes you into 56 combat and the real world lolz. Even after that keep up the strength levels, but balance it out with range. By the time you are 56 combat, you can get77 range iwth ease, and well on your way to 84.
  12. It might work against a newbie. Start off in mage gear and mage away hoping they take off rune, then switch to range/R2H combo to deal the final blows while you have them low hp.
  13. Fire blasting is only effective when done in groups of 5+ - aka luring. If you were to fight 1v1 against someone maging you - feel happy in the knowledge you will beat them. Perhaps you might consider taking a pair of dhide legs/body if you are that concerned, but really not a lot of need. Definitely train your mage though as it improves your mage defence, 60 should be your first goal - then use spare cash to raise it as you can afford it.
  14. Remain 1 def, 1 pray until you are at least 56 combat, and preferably stay 1 def forever. Ideally you should be levelling range and mage to be the same at all times, and if you are going to BH, then train your mage using non combat spells until you are 56 combat. Once you are at 40-45 combat, start training strength and attack. Get 20 att, 40 str then 30/50, then 40/60.
  15. You will gain that additional range level quite quickly just BHing, which will push you into th 56 combat bracket. A very nice set-up though, and you can get 75 strength too and still be 55 cb but hit 23's with R2H. 22's are nice, but a 23 rocks my socks! so a 9/10 - would be a 10 if you had 75 str. Unfortunately, as soon as you get 56 combat, what do you/we all do then?

Be warned though once you taste the xp speed of chins, its hard to go anywhere else!
  17. The most surprising for me is teeth halfkeys from low level critters, or better yet - from randoms :)
  18. To stay under 101 cb, train only strength until you get to say 99 then pk til you go over the 101 mark. Should keep you going for a while. You ought ot be able to stay alive most of the time, but will lack the KO power of a 99 str rune pure. Solid def will take away some of the advantage from the 40 def, 99 str pures you will be up against. Always look out for rangers hitting 18's on you, 99 rangers in medium crater are deadly, esp when some of em also have 99 str and a R2H in thier backpack.
  19. Few people mage in BH above cb 50, very few take in binds after that.
  20. He has low farming atm - so I suggested doing trees to boost the levels fast. Trees at 30-40 are cheap, and you can easily do lower level trees as a nice bonus to xp while not damaging the pocket like yews will later on.
  21. Higher mage level increases your defence to magic.
  22. Plant the highest level trees, and herbs you can. When I trained farming, I too did it on an ad hoc basis. I would do a round of herbs/trees as soon as I logged in, and I would repeat the herbs before logging off (assuming you play more than 1.5hrs per session). You get nice xp from the trees, and decent profit from herbs.Use magic secataurs and always use super compost. Use all available allotment sites, and tree sites that are within easy reach.
  23. hmm... well you can go to hunt 1 itemers on f2p :P Not much point - you won't get any good drops if they are not skulled, and are 3 iteming.
  24. I like the explanaiton of PvP rewards. I had been thinking that each time I banked, that I decreased my chances of a good drop. This will increase the 1 itemers with 1 pray though. Train in F2P with a scimmy for a while, then go DDS someone hoping for a great drop.
