  1. So it looks the Felix Has the thread's head nicked Clean off, don't scoff His search and post results Killed more than Beck's insults. I am waiting for Das to post Maybe he'll act like Nas and boast Or maybe like a little nut sit and roast So I'll raise my glass and toast. But I'll confess with my mouth I'm not a rapper to yell about I just like rhyming my sentence lines And if in the creative process combines And a rap's produced -- that's fine But one thing to watch for -- land mine Is my stinging one line's. I can make some decent metaphors My swagga drops the floor My words confuse and confound And create for your grave a little mound. But I think that's just because I wanna have fun And if I lose or get beaten I'm still gonna run With the same ones I did before Now go Das: 1,2,3,4:
  2. Well I guess that's different in america then, in holland there's quite a lot of options if you don't want to buy meat that has been produced in a certain way. And yeah that last point is indeed an important question and it really should be answered first before even starting this debate I mean to be honest, there's ton of organic meat around my area. Albeit to the west of us is like pure farmland, so that's probably a major factor.
  3. Oh. my god. love those eyes. I need that cat. NEEEED. Aaawwww! Sooo cute!! <3: Willow again: !! Love willow! YOu got him doing the best poses.
  4. At first my opinion was that they shouldn't get the service because they didn't pay for it, but this post changed my mind. When I think of a firefighter, I want to think of a hero - not a businessman. And I had no idea pets were involved. (Hey, here's something PETA might actually be useful for.) But then again, there is still a part of me that thinks the firefighters had a point. Touchy subject. I'll just stand at the sidelines and interject next time semantics are brought up. I'm not sure if pets were involved. fun fact Peta headquarters is 20 minutes from my house. I'm glad they stood up for what they believed in -- true heroes, they didn't bow down to the pressure of residents. They were just entitled people who couldn't stand they got beat in their own game. Of course the fire fighters would have gotten the pets out if any.
  5. Why hatin' on the mouse? cuz hes black and im white --- fuuuuuuuuuuuu Dupin I was waiting for SKeptical to say that. *sigh* we can never be baby. put curious george back in your avatar <3:
  6. On the flip side, well. Just the exact opposite of what you said.
  7. Saru Inc replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
got paid. getting my car inspected tomorrow.
  8. Clearly, you are illogical. Why? Because I cannot comprehend what you are saying, and I bend the rules of logic, like I bend the law to fit what I desire. I am right and you are wrong, how do I know? I am separate from the throng. And BESIDES. Science is my favorite subject, as well as reading books written hundreds of years ago about outdated subjects, lands, ideas, and states of mind. -------------------- Ok to be serious: You're exactly right, YOU DO pay for the fire department with your city taxes. Well, I say your implying you work. They do not pay taxes. Brb lemme go get a towel. --- sorry i'm back. my brain was leaking out of my skull, had to clean it up. THEY DO NOT PAY TAXES. THAT IS WHY THE FIRE CHARGE IS NOT IN THE TAXES. i am officially raging.
  9. Yes. let's debate this point, because this is all that matters. They took a chance, they paid. For 75 dollars. I'd be interested to see the number of people that don't pay. I'm sure it's tiny. And whoever didn't create a failsafe for this plan... like making it part of their taxes? Making it non-optional? Making them pay the cost of putting the fire out? Better to charge them the 5k or whatnot for scrambling the fire department then to let a family be made homeless. No, it's better for them to learn from your mistakes. Be careful, cooldog, you are stepping in a puddle which might just stain your Oxfords. You are posting your opinion as fact, while chastising others for thinking they deserve it. This is an acceptable view of the world, as long as your don't sledgehammer other close minded thinkers on other threads.
  10. people who think big words complete sentences and thought provoking names mean they are intelligent

Usually they help define, or refine a genre. I'd imagine...
  12. mebbe he shoulda paid his $75
  13. Yes. let's debate this point, because this is all that matters. They took a chance, they paid.
  14. Tell that to Hollywood. Oh, believe me: I've tried. They said that as long as indoctrination and glorification of boundless horrors continue to be profitable, I can take a hike. Sounds about right. Want my mainstream illogical Vans? They work pretty well for walking. And tornadoes of fire is [bleep]ing awesome.
  15. Nothing is really ever "right" or "wrong". And lesbians are only "nasty" when they're unattractive :P There are things that are right and wrong, there can be absolutes. The old testament god is the most unpleasant character in all of fiction. more like badass.
  16. And THATS not inspired by a certain post on these off topic forums, now is it? Out of the 84 posts on this topic, I think 81 of them have been about this: Slow drivers.
  17. GlowinRedM I'm 19 and I play... a bit. Not really anymore though. WHO CARES ABOUT DEM YO. only if they call you a kid should you care.
  18. Man, not in Virginia. We got super serious ones down here. :| With like white old men and one token fat black old guy all in a circle around the fireplace nodding their heads in approval as the VO tells of the politician's plans
  19. What about pedophiles and zoos? I've not studied either of those cases, so to be honest I don't know. I couldn't give a very good answer, so I'll just tell you what I know from other people on this forum/internet. Both are just extreme fetishes in a sense. At least *again* that's what I've been told. What about pedophiles and zoos? It could be argued that most of the hate is cultural, much like in the case of homosexuality. I mean look at saudi arabia, men marrying girls. You're exactly right. And they did it back in the Bible time as well, so maybe it could be argued there's nothing wrong with pedophilia... Or bestiality. Yea... That's not what I mean though. I guess I'm speaking more in spiritual terms, on a level of I was born gay because it isn't immoral. That's phrased awkwardly, but I can't think of a better way to say it at this time. I absolutely agree some "psychopaths" are born with no morals whatsoever, so may have an urge to inflict pain. I think where I draw the line, is where free choice of an innocent party is lost. Two gay/lesbian/transexual/bi/straight people who are both in love (or just want to [bleep]... to be honest) aren't hurting anyone. It's a cliche phrase, but I think it holds true. with Pedophiles and Bestiality, one of the parties cannot speak for themselves, and that's why I personally don't agree with them. Same thing with the urge to rape or inflict pain, they can have those urges all they want, and if someone is up for kinky sex, so be it. But the minute someone has pain inflicted on them as a result of the urge, that's where I call it wrong. I think your avatar is wrong and gross. prove i am wrong May you explain why you think that? becuasee its wrong and gross lolduh Asexuals. Muhahahaha Serious note: Wondering why Christians don't just disregard the old testament and focus on Jesus's teachings. That's what the religion is supposed to be, after all. @Bonkers, well for one thing they cannot be married in a classical definition because they would not be meeting the classical definition and no matter how much one may wish, it would still not be a man and a woman. I also don't think It's completely wrong to force churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, etc. to marry gays if it contradicts their tradition. As I said, civil unions for all. And of atheists being married? And why can traditions not change? Maybe the tradition was of a man and woman, because the world needed to populate? I'm not denying gays can't reproduce. Can you please explain to me logically why traditions cannot change? Do we still hold true to eye for an eye, raping of the enemies, taxation without representation (ironically sometimes still LOL ), or farming as a main way of life? These used to all be massive traditions, and now they are not. Would you have complained back then if they were changing them? Someone broke your arm, would you declare the inability to go against tradition, so that you could break his arm?
  20. I can't take this post seriously, so I won't. fun fact: lrn2googlemudslinging. I loled at all those ads. I did say that I have no clue about American politics. I suppose the question I'm really asking is "Do these ads actually work?" If they don't, than that would put me at ease. Oh, I took your question as sarcasm. It's mud slinging. There is no facts, or stances. It's take their name, and put it in mud. Call em fat, bastards, gay, pigs with bad lipstick, fat gay bastard pigs with bad lipstick, it's all the same. NO they don't work, in fact, NO ONE even cares about political ads. If you are swayed by political ads, you need... Idk. help.
  21. oh well what I meant is any music not screaming music, usually the artist I'm into at the time. Too soothing like Sarah Brightman and I never wake up. (Since the music that plays on my 3gs when I go to sleep is the same that wakes me up)
  22. An hour and a half of floating? WAT. I have definitely noticed taking a shower helps, by far. I've always practiced this since I was a child, and it's always worked better than any pill. Close your eyes, have no light pointing towards them (so sleep opposite of night light, if applicable) And envision what you want your dreams to be like, or try to remember your past dreams. Soothing music can help, I've always slept with "calm" music on for the past 10 years or so.
  23. Summoning actually gets easier the higher you go, imo. Getting 1-75 was such an enormous challenge for me, but now I can go from 92-93 in no biggie. 8\10.

I feel the same way about all writing. It's no fun when it's forced, and I hate feeling like the things I write will be judged and analyzed. Writers force themselves to write. The whole notion of 'writing when inspired' is the naive dream of a novice. Writing pages and pages of crap is essential. Eggsactly. Writers who write a lot sit down, force themselves to write, and write write write. One popular tactic is to just write til your hands are about to fall off (by hand that is). I once did that, just wrote 12 pages of whatever popped into my mind, about 3 pages were song lyrcs, and then there were television commercials, cliche phrasings, Bible verses, names of books, and at the end? Some things I actually like. Now note this was all dispersed, not saying I wrote only song lyrics for 3 pages, then switch over, but when I pulled it all together. The biggest problem with the creative mind, is the procrastination that is attached at it's hip, there's no escaping it. So you must defeat it, waiting til your inspired is good for eulogies, and that's about it.
