Time for armoury and weapons update for 120+ cb players?
Remember, we are limited by the fact that we can only have 99 health (except for potions etc.) This means that a weapon that averages in the 60's could 2 hit people with out a spec or anything of the sort, or one hit them on a good strike. I find that unacceptable. First we need to have a way above 99 hp before we move on to huge hitting equipment.

~*~ The Forgotten Citadel: High Level Content Inside! ~*~
Eww, just relised how bad red is to read  . Thanks for posting back. Have cleared up a lot of things. Still kinda don't see how you could manage a 10 kill trip lol, but if it came out I am sure some group could prob manage 40.

~*~ The Forgotten Citadel: High Level Content Inside! ~*~
pie Firstly - Too easy to get D2H, Chaos elemental is much harder. Only way it could work is if the chances for the sword were similar to the KQ and dust devils for d chain (tho not quite as uncommen). Secondly- I think that this would be impossible. Mainly for the fact that no one can carry enought supplies to last them the entire journy. 3 commanders. - 40 damage minimum Various monster damage. - 50 damage minimum + stat and prayer drainage. Dracaros - 71 instant(worst case senario) + 100's of damage throughout battle. Guessing 200 for calculations sake, yet most likey more with those kind of attacks. 6 rune slots for door. Various armour etc to change with to adapt to Dracaros attacks. So, using sharks to eat: 40+50+71+200=361 damage if you only recieve 200 damage from Dracaros 361/20 = 18+6 rune slots for the door = 24 slots. That leaves 4 slots for armour/ super stat restore and/or prayer pots. -This means that you need to have a decent summoning lvl to hold enought items, and ur BoB not be killed. So now Thirdly- Assuming that we need 90+ hit points, 90+ Defense, 90+ Magic, and 90+ range, this would put the player at lvl 88. BUT we will also need at least 43 prayer, tho this would not last long enough against such prayer draining monsters, so I will put it at an average of 70. 97 combat now. 67 Summoning will also be needed for a decent BoB, the War Tortoise. 105 combat now. That leaves you with 74 attack and 74 strength for 110 combat. But if you were to say have 90 att and 90 str you would be 120. Forthly- With no tele option or run option no one will bring any items that are valuable, but which is needed to defeat Dracaros. Hope I was not to mean  , and I would comment on the rewards as they seem a bit overpowered, but the I can respect the time and effort that has gone into makeing this brilliant idea. With some slight changes this would have to be a definate  . Gl,

Tip.It Times: 25 Jan 2009
I think Psycho_Robot made a slight error, saying: [hide=]".....yet so far only one of them have been named: Jas." I think that it was named after the person that found it, not one of the elder gods. Yet I may be wrong lol.[/hide] ^ I was wrong #-o I would strongly recommend that anyone interested at all by 'The God War Rages On' should have a look at the runescape wiki and delve into the history behind the gods. It is just like a good book, yet one that is not finished. So many questions left to answer!

Skill Capes vs. Quest Skill Cape
As a quest cape owner myself, and rarely using a quest guide (only when I do something and will not let me go to the next stage), I have to say that quest cape is the most impressive IF you get it using minimal guide usage. Then it can be compaired to skilling, as with skilling you have no assistance.

Jagex Attempting to Stop Monopolies?
The British? Fair? Mercantilism anyone. Bankrupting it's colonies while profiting at the same time wasn't "fair" by any definition of the word. Anywho, if you have the money to buy ten GS's an hour and the ability to merchant them, why shouldn't you be allowed to? No one can give me any valid reason as to why it's wrong. Are you serious? Merchanting benefits no one other than the merchanter. They push prices up to unreasonable highs for the profit. They are Runescapes version of the CEO's of big companies today. Why should the average Joe (Josephine if your a girl) have to pay more for the items they actually USE? Ok, I think your post was irrelevant to the discussion, but anyway, down the bottom you say: "Also trade limits, well, limit the things you can do because if you need 15 godswords because you are selling them back at a higher price or just want a stockpile of them then you are entitled to buy them." No one NEEDS to stockpiles 15 gs so in case they die, they can just go fetch a new one. And even if that was so, they could buy them over 1 day, no need to get it right here and now. Only reason anyone would ever stock pile gs would be to merchant. Thats fine, but when you get to price manipulation, it is a greed act. Prices should reflect the supply and demand of people using the item, not the manipulated price. And Killerbeer0,

Jagex Attempting to Stop Monopolies?
Umm...Ticket scalping is illegal in several countries as well as multiple states in the US. So, as said before, tell your story to your arresting officer. I'm sure he'll love it. Lrn2 litigation :wall: Lol, very funny. Anyway, if people did not fall for the greed of manipulating the prices to make huge profits, then this would not have happened. It seems that the few that are of no decency seem to make it worse for us all. RWT is just another case of this happening. Jagex has no option but to do this. But I do believe that it could have been delt with better.

Jagex Attempting to Stop Monopolies?
Your right, but price manipulation is at the expense of others. It should not happen in the first place if these people that did it were decent, but no, greed is too much.

Jagex Attempting to Stop Monopolies?
Merchanters do nothing for no one other than for themselves. They are a hindrance to the economy. All Jagex are doing is trying to level the playing field. The rich can no longer make the poor - not so rich people pay for items than they should. Free capitalistic economies are not a good thing *cough* Wall Street *cough*. People are forced to buy from merchants when they deplet a market of an item, then flood it again, forceing the person to buy it or go without it. That is what Jagex is stopping with this update, or trying to. We will see how it goes in a few weeks. There is no need to get the economy moving, it will move by itself when it reflects the people that are using the items. Things would be a lot less expensive without merchanters.

The Archaeology Skill - (Surprise on Page 26!)
Runescape is NOT set in a specific time period. You should know that. And of COURSE they had it in ages like the medieval ages, if that's what you're asking. You think that history just started in the last 100 years? History to us is everything before our time. But history to the medieval times is anything that happened before those times. Just because Medieval times are historical to us doesn't mean they were when they were actually happening. So yes...Archaeology was around, and I feel really sorry for you if you really thought it wasn't. He was asking a question, how else do you learn? Yet you treat him like a moron for not knowing. A pre-school teacher does not go "WHAT, you don't know how to do 1+1?!?!?" to a pre-schooler. No matter how simple the question is, pay some respect next time. Shadow.

The ULTIMATE BH'er!!!.....errr bit of help please??
So are you saying high range, hp and def? If so, I think I might make this one. If I was to do it like this, should I get the dhide top aswell? That means that I will be getting a few strength levels, but I don't know a lot about bh, so tell me. Thanks, Shadow.
-
The ULTIMATE BH'er!!!.....errr bit of help please??
Thanks for the suggestion, a lot of detail put into it. I will seriously consider doing this one. Anyway, any other suggestions? Shadow.

The ULTIMATE BH'er!!!.....errr bit of help please??
Okay dokey, I was thinking of making a BH'er but then relised... what would be the best one to make to completely own all other nublets this side of the moon??? So the questions and restrictions are really: [*:devzgqiv] Shall be F2P. [*:devzgqiv] Has to be ranged. [*:devzgqiv] What quests should and what quests should NOT be completed? [*:devzgqiv] I would prefer it to be in either the lower or middle crater. Any who, get back to me with what your suggestions are, I shall be awaiting them eagerly. Shadow.

The Return of The Wilderness.
All those things that you stated have nothing to do with the lost of the wildy, plus, all the things you stated are what made the wildy so very dangous

The Archaeology Skill - (Surprise on Page 26!)
Great idea! I only have a small problem with two minor things, easily fixed. If you think about it logically it makes sense. Sandstone and Limestone would be of no use if they were to be made into trowels as they would (if you have ever actually seen sandstone or limestone) crumble very easily. A more suitable material would be obsidian or blue stone (basalt I believe) trowels. If you were going for a more realistic, something I believe Jagex would do if they were to pick up on this great skill, would be to make the trowels out of bronze - rune/dragon with the advanced 'ancient' at the end as well. Anyway, that is just my 2 cents worth, Shadow.

Quest - The Birth of a Dragon
Very well thought out, and unlike most other suggestions, not overpowered or a blow out of cash. You could even say that it is not rewarding enough lol. I support! ^^as for the above post^^ 5.6mill is tiny as an initial starting price. The price would fall, like all other very good rare drop items, and would prob level off at 3-4mill and then very slowly decrease in price.

Rs2: Blaming Miniclip For All The Evils Of Runescape
Runescape was not designed for children, many players back in the good ol' days were mainly 16+. Also, just look at when you first start an account, you should be 13+ to join. I joined 4+ years ago, and have had many times of fun, but also a few times of unhappiness. I do believe that miniclips gave us the influx of younger players, but the thing is that it was inevitable. It may not have been so sudden, but over time we would have been run over by kids. There is nothing wrong with this younger generation of players, but there is something wrong in how our society (in real life) has brought them up. I see it at school, every year the Year 7's (I believe it is middle school or something in America) come to school for their first day, they are getting more and more disrespecful towards people that are older and deserve respect. Because people like to play the games with friends, not alone. Imagine playing the whole game with all the chat options down the bottom turned "off". One word. Boring.

Monday Poll: What caused your first Runescape death?
I believe that imps cannot hurt players due to them being so weak. Therefore I call you a liar. Liar. As for my first death, it was for Rune Mysteries aswell. I was showing off to these low level 3's at the Wisards Tower (as you do when your lvl 15), and to my astonishment, I was loseing, so I thought that if I logged out I couldn't die. I promptly logged out, then quickly logged back in. I found myself at Lummy with just my bronze plate, legs and a mith helm I had found. I was so disheartend that I left the game for about a month, but luckily I was bored one day and came back! :D

Weapon Speeds/Attack Animations.
You are sorta using % in the wrong way, but what ever :D. I over all don't believe that this should happen, and anyway, how do you propose this to happen. Will people just run around the back or what?
-
Weapon Speeds/Attack Animations.
So three choices: Option 1: Front: Multiply dam done by 1. side:x1.5 backx2 Don't like idea, one hitting will be numerous. Option 2: Front:x1 side:apprx.x1.25 back:approx. x1.4 This ones a good idea, No one hitting here! Option 3: Front:No diff. Side: slightly increased chance of hitting your max hit or close. Back:Increased chance of hitting your max hit or close This one's the best :D There might be some more people will be thinking the same thing as you. So I'll explain it myself. Chance to hit/hit higher/hit max: Front: X 100%. Side: X 150%. Back: X 200%. Umm, I think that if it was 100% you would be hitting ur opp 100% max hits. So 200% would double ur max hit. I believe that it woudl be more like: Front: X 25%. Side: X 50%. Back: X 75%. so that it is a 25% chance for you to hit max/high hit on ur opp, which is still alot, a 1/4 chance. BluudkeinWolf-OMG Chapter Seven prt Two is up!!
But you are arguing over the correct way to do it, who cares, no one will know what the right way is, even if there is a right way. Anyway, back to topic, fantastic story. How long did it take you to write? Where did the idea come from? Lord of Lords and Shadow, Lord Firer
