lets see.. i was about 9 and my friend was sleeping over.. there was this convicted murderer wandering down our streeet (at the time i obviously didnt know that he was a criminal) so the guy turns around and stares at us cause we were taking a walk. he slowly started walking towards us and so we screamed and ran. i mean i dont think ive ever ran faster. anyways, so we get back to the house and tried to forget about it. a few hours later at about 11 pm my dad came home from work and he said there were two cops parked at both ends of the street. my friend and i asked my dad what was going on and he said the police are trying to catch a convicted murderer that is wondering our street. it was terrifying. especially to learn that the guy could have easilly killed us

Germans drink a lot of alcohol. Aren't they like one of the highest consumers of alcohol? Hmm, I'll go check. yeah but probably if my parents laid out all their wine bottles there would be a lot more than that

Already explained that - It's just how I'm holding the picture, it was curved a little, thus making it look like that. Trust me, if our house was actually bending like that, it would have been fixed. My dad is a general contractor, so he's pretty [obsessive-compulsive] about that stuff. :P oh yeah sorry i guess i didnt read that part..oops :anxious:

well in our modern day society people claim to be unhappy because they find flaw in just about everything. They don't stand back and look at all the good things they have. They don't know how good they have it, being in a first world country. I have had a hard time learning this very lesson, and even if i have, i am still unhappy. People generally more often are pessimists because they have all that they want, so what they do is complain about things that they can't change.

for some reason, maybe its just my eyes, but it looks like the walls of the house are leaning outwards on all sides.. i think it would be awesome to live in a haunted house though

well i didnt mean to base any real discussion on the title of the subject .. it was just an example.. but maybe im just stupid or the way my mind works is really strange but i guess i didnt explain it in a way that makes sense.. what i meant to say is that if some things belived to be true by other people even if they dont make sense to you personally does that mean they are true or are there other ways of looking at it to make it seem true

I made this topic to discuss riddiculous theories or logics used and possibly believed (i hope not though) by many people. Because I don't remember doing it, it didn't happen. That makes no sense, right? But it is used as an excuse often. Also riddiculous things you hear like if I can't see you, you can't see me. Questions I'm asking are 1. Do you believe in riddiculous theories or logics 2. Do any of them make sense 3. Are there any more you have heard of 4. Does this topic make any sense to you 5. Are there any other ways of looking at these to make them seem as if they are able to make sense when giving logical reasoning or mathematical formulas?
