  1. From talking with an active member of your forum and seeing screenshots, no, they are still there. Ones you personally deemed illegal may have been removed (although not sure what ones they are) but ones that we, on our forums enforce as against the rules are still present. As I have said, we will not tell other forums how to moderate as it is up to them so we will not ask for them to specifically be removed, only that linking to a forum with illegal scripts present is not allowed. There really isn't much more to say than that.
  2. I'd appreciate it if you didn't post provocations. It's a simple matter of copying and pasting Jagex's response to Darkdude's inquiry. Or perhaps I genuinely believe that? I'd also appreciate if we weren't accused of bias towards you guys, since, you know, we've been removing links to botting stuff for several years, but tough luck it seems. One post on the forum with a bot that hadn't been deleted yet when some TIF mod found it GRIMY'S FORUMS ARE BOTTING STUFF Yeah. Having illegal scripts present on a forum does to me sound as if it encourages macroing. Not saying it is supported, but it is present and does not help the situation. We are by no means going to tell people how to run their own forums, only that if certain things are present, we will not have them linked to from here as they clash with our rules.
  3. Nobody has specifically said there was e-mail exchange. It would be nice if you would calm down so we can actually organise ourselves and give you an official message from ourselves summing everything up instead of constantly replying to your posts.
  4. I wouldn't mind it being cleaned into distinctly different bot threads. Like how we currently have numerous about getting rid of bots which don't actively talk about the problems with them, but how to get rid of them. These should be consolidated. Then there are those about the annoynaces with them which should probably go to rants. Then there are those which talk about the practices of bots, morality and the such. These should be consolidated.
  5. You will get just as biased experiences of content if you play it a short time or a long time. For somebody who only plays for 30 levels then doesn't like it, they find the skill bad. For those who play it for longer and stay with it, they find the skill good. That doesn't mean one side has a better opinion than the other, it just means they have different opinions. No one opinion is right, it is all about the individual. So levels do not come into effect as it would be biased one way or another.
  6. Ditto, about the only thing i've ever drawn that was half-way decent was an eye... and I watched a video on how to draw it the night before and was studying it for hours.lol So the sketch was not something that you drew? It was something someone had already drawn and you just did same thing? Wrong person?
  7. Please, you took the time to write that article, I would really like to see you take the time to respond to some of the criticism. What exactly is your dungoneering level is my question. I mean most people agree that the skill only gets really good around level 70-80 and gets better and better as you keep training it from there. Edit: Well done on the first article, I really enjoyed it. You don't need levels to have an opinion. If the skill doesn't get good until 70, that means for a long time it's bad.

I'm just not sure how it will compete today. Games now need much more than just good gameplay to compete with the AAA titles. The main problem with the first Tribes games were that they mainly spread through word of mouth and not advertising, hopefully this one isn't reduced to having to do the same thing. The other problem is that the sci-fi shooter genre, especially FPS is now so diluted that it will take something extraordinary to do well.
  9. I am just BAD at this.
  10. Unfortunately it's the only half decent picture of the helmet online at an angle I like, and it doesn't bother me too much as i doubt people would read it anyway. I'll save a copy of both if it ends up bugging me :) Thanks a ton for both, I'll get on adding them now. Edit: Ended up going with it going to the left afterall.
  11. I actually really like the sig! Do you want credits to it in my signature? One final request, is there any chance on flipping the helmet horizontally so it's facing the right?
  12. Co-op used to sell them but we have had to withdraw them (at least our shop has and we haven't been sent any more) as they didn't work on our new systems. This wasn't just Runescape ones, but ones for all gift cards such as NEXT, H&M and M&S. But I have seen them in a lot of other shops, usually larger shops have them it's just finding them that's the problem.
  13. Is there any way to do it without the white around the edge? I had that problem when I tried to do it (as well as with my current sig). I'm not sure if it's me but it also looks like the image quality decreased?
  14. I love how the square edges of the paper actually make it look much more like Runescape models than if you had done it in another material making everything more rounded. If you want a REALLY big project you could create a landscape from Runescape. Castle wars would probably be nice and contained. Although I'm sure you already have more than enough ideas in your own head.
  15. Hierarch here. 21 free charges too. Going to save them though.
  16. Tripsis pretty much covered this. As far as I am aware, this has never happened. Baseless accusations do nothing but waste the time of staff here. I would very much like to know the example you claim to have happened. If you do not feel like posting it here, you are free to tell a member of staff in a PM if you feel it was unfair.
  17. Thanks :)
  18. I tend to just play a game or have something to eat. anything to take my mind off it.
  19. Hehe thanks, but I don't think It's a good idea for me to have swearing in my signature
  20. Either is fine, whichever you think would fit best.
  21. I don't think this is going to be your normal photoshop sig request, but I could be wrong. I'm looking for somebody to make me a signature out of one of these two pictures (any of them is fine) They will obviously need resizing to be within the forum limits, and you are free to crop them as you see fit. What I'm wanting is something quite like the old signature I had on these forums (unfortunately lost now) which gave a sense of speed. You are free to make the image look as stylised as you want as well. The reigns are pretty loose as long as it looks good in the end. So the only things I really want are for it to give a sense of speed and look fairly unique. A small thing I also wouldn't mind would be for it to be wider and thinner rather than a larger square image, but that is more up to you. I would be eternally grateful if somebody was willing to do this for me. On a side note, would anybody be able to turn this image around http://i55.tinypic.com/2e66lfo.jpg (so it faces right) and clean up the writing from it for me (as well as making it transparent?) (for use as an avatar) Thanks to anybody who reads this.
  22. No KQ KQ (both forms!) Agreed though, still amazing as ever. Is it as big as the others or to scale with them?
  23. That is currently under discussion (And a change is looking likely to happen). Always good to remember though that we can't make changes immediately. We like to hear input from as many staff members as possible.
  24. I sold gp on runescape for sexual favors while snorting cocaine and I'd do it again, if it weren't for those meddling mods and their ability to hand out bans on a Runescape fansite forum. But seriously, breaking runescape rules doesnt make you a bad person irl [or support prostitution or drugs or cheating of any kind] and it doesnt encourage trolling on a fansite. Tip.it should give up their stance on this, you are only driving a wedge in your community. It is rather sad that you care more about Jagex rules then Jagex  Part of being in a close relationship with jagex, staying in the good light of jagex, keeping the site platinum, is abiding by the rules. The Tip.it forum has enforced the Runescape rules from the very beginning. Jagex only starting coming forward to fan-sites in the last few years, after we had been actively enforcing the rules for many years already. Our rules have never, not in the slightest been effected by Jagex and their status towards fan-sites.
  25. It's just my personal opinion. I don't like cheating at all, even if the game makers don't care too much about it. I just don't want to associate myself much with people who do something I personally find a bad thing to do.
