  1. Good luck to anybody who enters. I wish I didn't have exams right now, I would give it a go (although I would never win)
  2. The 5k cw cape was only made because jagex knew there already were some cw crazies. It makes absolutely no sense for the requirement of one minigame to be soooo much larger than for the other ones- it's just inconsistent. And as far as completing the game, i'd guess there are alot of people who don't believe anything below 5b xp is really completing the game, and while that would be a ridiculous requirement, so is 5k cw games(that's only one minigame, but takes as much time as 200m in a skill at 100k an hour, only 1-2 skills being under that currently). Anyone who argues for 5k cw games should also agree with 200m in agility, fishing, woodcutting or mining requirement for it to make any sense. There is a reward in-game for 5k games. There is no in-game reward for 200m in a skill. One means you have played for a long time doing a single skill for no reward other than to be higher than others, one means you have attained one of the hardest and rarest items in the game. Which sounds like completing it to you?
  3. I agree with the above. There is already a reward for 5k so missing it out would mean you haven't completed the game.
  4. The hardest cape in the game, meant to symbolise having done everything, playing the game to the fullest isn't going to have easy requirements. I personally think the requirements are fitting.
  5. I wish they had made a separate cape for the things which are needed to trim the completion's cape. That would have brought me back to the game but as it stands, you need to max as well to get recognised for that stuff.
  6. His original rsn is omustardo Ah from somebody I knew of to somebody I know even better. He's pretty much had the requirements for this for a long time.
  7. Good luck botting for the castle wars games. Has that 'castle wars' person gone by a different name in the past? When I used to cw I remember somebody very low level being names that constantly playing.
  8. Capescape v2. Capes are really becoming to important in this game. They have become one of the sole reasons many people play.
  9. Better to be safe than sorry.
  10. That isn't exactly helpful is it.
  11. The title pretty much says it all. I'm wondering if anybody knows a good antivirus for a mac. What's the best one?
  12. You have basically said everything I would want too. I cannot logically see how AV cannot be seen as giving the majority view better than FPTP thus representing the opinion of the public more.
  13. Because even though their 35% of the votes may be higher than the rest, there is still the chance 65% dislike them, but voted for various other parties. Those 65% should still get a say.
  14. Because then at least they preferred that candidate over the other. Instead of 65% disliking the winner, there is the chance 30% of them at least liked them, just not as much as somebody else.

The Ceremony inside the Abbey was incredibly grand. So much gold everywhere. With the choir singing it was just incredible, a once in a lifetime Wedding for sure. The sheer number of people along the Mall and in front of Buckingham Palace was mind blowing. Their two kisses looked so much happier than Charles and Diana. Was also nice to see the Royal family as an actual family up on the balcony, talking, happy and helping the kids.
  16. Maybe I shouldn't use the term proportional when I describe how I feel about the vote as it does get confused with me saying PR. I feel that it gives the overall view of the voters more weight than just their first choice. It's more reflective of what the majority really want.
  17. Everybody still gets one vote, it just changes which of their votes count. If their candidate has been knocked out, instead of them having no say, they have the chance to have their vote counted. People can still only vote for one party. It is only more complex for those who have to work it out. For the voter it is still as simple as putting an X. The system overall will be more fair with each vote having more proportional representation. Without the majority vote the BNP would get no seats. the FPTP system actually benefits the BNP. A majority of the people in the world are starving, it doesn't mean starving is the best or most wanted option. (Ty Ian Hislop) Just because some things are less important doesn't mean the way they do things is less right. Should the party receiving only 10% more votes than another receive over 200% more seats in parliament? AV gives much more proportional representation than FPTP I disagree. 35% may have voted for x MP, but 65% voted against them. A majority does not mean they have the support of their constituency. At least with AV, there is much more chance of the majority winner having a larger support. The same can be said for FPTP. I voted Lib dem, along with over 6 million others. A majority of our votes were wiped clean off the slate because of a small majority in our constituencies. Lib dems got 23% of the countries votes yet do not get 23% of the representation. That is unfair and should not happen in a democracy.
  18. But they don't like FPTP enough to vote for it either. To be honest, If they don't care enough to vote they shouldn't get a voice.

This video describes PR, but the core of it, the 5 votes and the better representation are the core of AV too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSUKMa1cYHk For those who do not know, the UK is having one of the most major votes this century. It is the vote to change the countries elections from unfair, disproportionate representation to a much fairer, proportionate representation system. It's called the Alternate Vote, and here is the main jist of it: The majority of the No to Av campaighn is pure myth and is from my view, only the choice for those who have no idea of the alternatives. [spoiler=Myths about AV (Why it is actually better)] To any people eligible to vote in the UK, I strongly urge you to vote Yes to AV on Thursday the 5th of May, I definitely will be and will be encouraging anybody to do the same. There are no factual reasons why not to do it.
  20. As above, I wouldn't recommend a CW clan. Your best bet is just to play on the official worlds and get better at playing to a stage where you are one of those actively effecting the outcome of the game.
  21. Heh you use the same contacts as me, and I agree with the above that they do feel nice when you put a fresh pair in. Personally I never have to put them into a solution as I change them weekly (could do them bi-weekly but the optician suggested weekly) without taking them out inbetween. I did have a solution which the optician gave me with them the first time but I threw away the bottle years ago.
  22. No, they aren't. That is an unrelated issue from a few weeks back.
  23. This is pretty much the truth. Castle wars is one of the few times Jagex got a mini-game right. It didn't need good rewards to become popular, the opposite in fact, it just needed to be fun and without too many rules. If you don't enjoy it I would suggest not bothering as it probably isn't worth it.
  24. US sizes are basically 0.5 higher than UK sizes. So an 11 in the UK would be 11.5 US. I'm size 9.5 UK sizes http://www.i18nguy.com/l10n/shoes.html
  25. Wolfie, I think I may be in love. Joking aside, that it pretty much exactly how I feel, put into a much more eloquent, descriptive and solid form than I could ever write it.
