  1. Didn't know who he was until reading this thread. He's no Zezima that's for sure.
  2. Wow Lep, you really like to be positive don't you. You only like POH's? No wonder no updates apply to you as that's one part of one skill in such a huge game. The updates all look quite good from my perspective.
  3. It's not a potion though? I would guess it works the same as the boost when you put on a skillcape.
  4. There was no reason to bump this thread back up as it is over 2 years old. Locking this.
  5. I think alot of people misunderstood what the magic update actually was. It was worded strangely, but does not really mean how it is stated. In the old system, if you were 94/94 magic and were reduced to 90/94 magic, your next attack cycle would tell you "you do not have the magic level to use this spell" and your auto cast box would turn off. If you did not recast, you would attempt to melee with your staff. In the new system, if you are 94/94 magic, and reduced to 90/94 magic, your next attack cycle will tell you "you do not have the magic level to use this spell", but your auto cast box will NOT be turned off. This does not mean you can cast ice barrage at 90/94 magic... This means that you will not attempt to melee with a staff if your magic level is lowered. Once your magic level is boosted again, you can cast spells as normal. If your magic level is 90/94 now, you will simply stand there and no be able to cast magic OR melee unless you manually turn melee on. This is the way it was supposed to be. Magic is better since you don't accidentally melee a NPC, and seercull is still as useful as it was before the update. Ah I did wonder if that was the case. Then it seems like a good update all around. Xpx, Seed prices have always been tied to the herb prices, and further to the pot prices. Profits should always stay relatively the same with farming herbs as the seeds will also go down as the price of herbs go down.
  6. I believe it's April 3. What luck, it's the week I'm home from Uni, meaning I can Sky+ it and actually watch it.
  7. used to be worth alot? so should we all be trading left halves for partyhats now? I don't understand how the prices of items 5-6 years ago matter now, when those items have been utter garbage for so long. What is the logic behind dragon legs being 500k and steels now dropping 8m worth of torstols? Like, how was there a change necessary? Because just like almost all monsters could drop an 8m shield half years ago, they can now drop x amount of herbs or metals etc. Many monsters have had drops more expensive than their unique drops for a long time.
  8. I can't see anything wrong with his explanation and he clearly states Jagex's reasoning for not doing a rollback. But if you feel it is enough to leave the game over, well, goodbye I guess? What? their explanation was basically that they screwed up and they don't care. quite the same as it was with climbing boots. I don't want to know how few(what else can they say than that really noone got an advantage?) benefited from this bug, i care that that when they screw up, they should fix it. There definitely would have been hardly any complaining as the people who benefited knew it was bug abuse. As for the update as a whole, it started out with good news with dungeoneering, as most everything is better in that department, but they really laid an egg with drops. 10k ring giving 500k-2m more an hour(steel dragons drop 160 noted torstols, apparently)? What the hell were they thinking... So probably around 100-500 people managed to get some sigils, should mean that probably 50,000 people (not too sure how many were online at the time) should lose anything they gained in that hour? So this then to you means that there would be no complaining if there was a rollback? I think your logic may be broken. Jagex fixed the bug as soon as they knew about it, did everything in their power by bringing the fix asap and then gave a solid reason for not rolling back. Also, a ROW may be worth 10k now and the extra drops they are bringing in meaning 500k-2m/h, but that will stabilise to be a much smaller gap. Many of the noted drops seem to be for skills which people are often wanting to be cheaper (Smithing and herblore), opening those skills up to more players and giving a ring which many complained for years that was useless, a use.
  9. When actually is Wrestlemania?
  10. Does the skull's bonus stack with others or is it just an unlimited magic pot?
  11. Just to clarify on the whole friendly fire thing, even though it is off topic: The reason WW2 cannot be compared to modern warfare is because tactical technology is much different. In WW2, if you saw somebody 100m away, if you didn't have some form of binoculars allowing you to see their uniform, they could have been an enemy or an ally, you would have no idea. Add in that it was a total war which lead to organisational structures in the middle of battlefields braking down, it was ripe for friendly fire on both sides. Communication often broke down in the heat of battle. Compare this to modern conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq, you have much slower combat which allows for communication to stay strong (in theory). With technology such as GPS, when you see somebody 100m away, you should know if they are an ally or enemy. Add in to this much more regulated warfare in which there are many targets which you must not shoot, battles will often not break down and keep organised. That is why you cannot compare them.

  13. Great way of thinking about it. I personally don't mind at all about the drops things as I said earlier, just means lower prices for the masses. The only ones that lose money are those who already had everything.
  14. It would also mean that nobody would have any goals whatsoever, item-wise. Even the most expensive piece of armor would be like 400k max. You say that as if it is a bad thing? More time for PVP, Boss hunting, group activities and generally doing things that I find fun without grinding for an item goal.
  15. In my personal view (probably not the same as anybody else) Having the ROW make boss drops almost 100% would make RuneScape a much better game, and I'll explain in short why: - Advancing through the game up to the best gear, best bosses would be much faster and much more fun, lessening the massive grindfest RuneScape is. - The huge money gap between rich and poor would reduce - The huge money gap between Skilling and Mh'ing would reduce - It would open up boss hunting to much more people, possibly bringing many people to the game - It would make PVP much more full, with people being able to afford gear faster, and making it more disposable And lastly, it would shake up the ground in systems which RuneScape has, which have become dull and repetitive over the years.
  16. Could be a total coincidence, fake or taken at another time.
  17. May I ask how? RoW now works with boss drops so in theory, more drops = lower price. Though it all depends, because more drops = more profit so we'll have to see. It could also have almost no effect. As it isn't only high value drops increasing, all wealth from drops, low or high level, as well as clue scrolls and barrows increases, the wealth of many players, not just boss hunters could increase. This then could lead to extra demand for the items dropping more, counteracting any lowering of the price.
  18. Getting free prayer potions at barrows? Sounds like it could change barrows a lot if it is common enough. I'd love to see how much it effects clue scrolls and other things.
  19. Did they just make seercull bow's spec totally useless  ? Sounds like it :/ Can't really see any reason for doing so as it was a good strategy for countering mages.
  20. Indeed. There was no reason to make the link in the first place.
  21. You are misunderstanding my post. It hadn't been posted because the media and the public have lost interest in wikileaks. As proven by there not being any posts in this thread since mid January. It isn't really newsworthy any more. The world has much more pressing things to worry about at the moment unlike the end of last year, we now have a country recently hit by an incredibly large natural disaster and many countries in full on revolt. If anything I am adding to the discussion as without it, the thread would probably go back down to the depths as people re-lose interest, which remind me, I will leave the thread back alone now that I have stated my view.
  22. I was actually replying to your post asking why nobody had posted it yet. The thread did because people, the media and the public lost all interest in anything leaked.
  23. Because as it has been said earlier in the thread, nobody actually cares. Once the media lost interest, it was realised that us, the public, couldn't give two chickens about Assinge or the wikileaks things.
