Cars
Some times, the richer you are/parents are, the more stupid you drive. If you, like me had to earn the money for your car for a year, have to pay over half your wages into insurance/tax/petrol, you don't ever risk doing anything stupid.

Jagex to develop Transformers MMO for 2012.
A "kids" TV show that's original fanbase are now in the prime 25-35 age band that spend the most money. Its an optimal group to market for. I think this game will be more than meets the eye and am looking forward to hearing more about it. Just because you're interested in a kid's show doesn't mean the vast majority of the populous is. He never said he was interested in it. The original Transformers came out in 1984, any fans it had then will now be in their 20's, with fans coming in at all ages younger, and some older too. It is a prime fan-base for any game to try and tap into.

Jagex to develop Transformers MMO for 2012.
They are selling out, damnit! What else are they doing? They're basically multilogging with a skiller on the side for some side money... Not fully paying attention to their main at a cost of raising the skiller. Jagex are a games Development Studio. If they were to only develop Runescape, they would probably be called Runescape. To be a games Development Studio, they have to develop bigger and bolder games, no matter how much people dislike it. Stay with one game and they will not expand, not grow and will probably die, fast. Which is why Funorb is such a success. Oh wait.. Most Funorb memberships are for F2p-only mains to change their names. That's saying something. Find me a games studio that hasn't had a flop in it's lifetime. Even then I wouldn't actually call it a flop, as it has had many games which were quite successful for a while.

Jagex to develop Transformers MMO for 2012.
I'm waiting for Das's reaction to this news. I don't think Jagex have ever created a game where they didn't have the full creative licence so it really is unknown waters for them and I don't think anybody can tell how it will turn out. I know I trust Jagex in getting a game out there than Activision for sure.

Jagex to develop Transformers MMO for 2012.
One year to develop a full MMO? I highly doubt it, even the best companies in the world with thousands working on a game could barely pull that off. I wouldn't expect anthing like it until 2013 at the earliest. I'm not to good on what happens when a country acquires a new licence like this, does Hasbro give Jagex he funding for it? If so, it's great news for Jagex indeed. (Please for the love of god I hope nobody comments that they are selling out or something along those lines) EDIT: What is with the sheer hate on Jagex here by the way? Hoping the game crashes and burns, thinking it will destroy RS? Where is the basis for these opinions?

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
The chances of 4 items in one must be so low. Can't even imagine what it is.

Awards
I like the ideas of achievements and the like. The angel one would be impossible here due to so many members of the forum, but some of the others would be great.
-
PvP Sling?
Probably because it was disallowed from PVP worlds, due to it being used to EP. As far as I know anyway.

Giant Earthquake hits Japan
don't act like you know a lot about something when you dont :shame: i watched a lame youtube video and got obsessed for like a week a few years back lol. mayan calenders the popular way of presenting it. what the calander is based on (i think) is the cycles of our earth and other planets alignment in the universe. 2012 is the date when the planets and sun line up with the black hole in the centre of the universe (i think), its definately when all of our planets and sun are aligned. in fact its the first time in 26000 years. its also around the time that this cataclysmic solar storm is predicted, as well as being around the time our poles are due to shift. its very possible that some crazy thing is going to happen that we have no clue about because it hasn't happened in recorded history. there are a load of other things ill try and remember, like famous prophets (which i dont really believe).. i dont think the world gunnaa blow up, i definately dont think we're gunna be wiped out. im not really sure if anythings going to happen, but it easily could. but yeah dont just brush it off as a myth when you don't know what the calender is based on. its just as annoying as people who state 2012 as fact. Sorry, but please don't act as if you know what you are talking about when you have watched a little youtube video or looked at some internet sources. When I have done a year long module on Mayans and Classic Central Mexican civilisations with lectures specifically on the calendar, number systems and their relations to mythologies for my degree, I actually do know what I'm talking about. The Mayans did not predict the world would end in 2012, FACT. Things may happen in 2012, just as any other year interesting things happen. but yeah, don't act as if you know what you're talking about.

Giant Earthquake hits Japan
Going a little off topic here just because it bugs me. The 2012 thing is such a myth and the joke is wearing real thing. The Mayan calendar was cyclical, in that it ran in set cycles. Much like we replace our calendars every 12 months, and will replace ours on Jan 1st next year, their ended in 2012 and if their civilisation had survived, would have replaced theirs next year, whichever day it ends on. If the world was to end, their calendar would actually say it as it often did with many disasters which they based many things on. @Lenin, that's a real interesting question. Probably depends how much damage and how the population was removed.

Giant Earthquake hits Japan
That basically just destroyed whatever little faith in humanity I had left... Apparently the explosion was real but it didn't affect the reactor in any way. Wow, America really does hold a grudge? I can't imagine British people for example having that kind of reaction at all in the case of a massive disaster in Germany. Also, some real idiots on there, one seemed to think Japan started WW2. I didn't lose my faith in humanity, just America. On this whole topic of where earthquakes hit and the like, in a way it's lucky the quake hit Japan and not another country. Japan is one of, if not the most prepared country for earthquakes on the planet. An earthquake of this magnitude would have levelled most other countries well before the tsunami struck. I'm massively surprised just how low the death count is so far.

Changes to Lunar 'other' spells in single-way combat
I can't believe I'm going to say this... I seem to be of the same opinion as Green and Obtaurian. The spells were not designed to be used in single way combat, an totally went against the very idea of single way combat. It should be 1v1, not 1v1+1. Now if only Mages could farcast it would allow wilderness to be much less broken.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Re-watched the original Jurassic Park. The theme tune alone makes me emotional. Its a shame modern films don't have such moving and emotive theme tunes. It's used numerous times through the film so that the main tune become engrained in your head. Seems to be a thing of the 80s and 90s to have theme tunes.

Giant Earthquake hits Japan
My thoughts go out to anybody effected. Some of the videos are very disturbing to watch, such large amounts of debris, houses, boats and cars being swept away. Nobody in it would be likely to survive.

Pocket Legends the mobile WoW
I'm limited to 500mb/month so I don't think I would be able to play it without using up all my internet time. Is it actually free, or item shop free?

Do you use strategy guides?
I'll only use a guide if I get terribly stuck on a part of a game. The most recent example was playing through Majoras mask for the first time (I know, a little late to the game) and getting massively stuck on the last temple where everything turns upside down. In Fact, Zelda games are the main ones I can remember. In OOT I, along with what seems like a lot of people got stuck on the Water temple on my first play through. Considering I was only around 11 at the time, I'm surprised just how far I got without the guide. Apart from that, I rarely use guides apart for finding secrets after completing the game, or looking for tips on how to get certain endgame content.

Cars
Looks terrible and will probably be massively unbalanced, handling like a dog. I hate to say it, but stereotypical American. It will probably be good in a straight line, but in what actually matters, corners, it will be totally useless. So much weight over the back end. I'm not a fan of all power no corner. Much more entertaining to see cars which can go around a corner 2x the speed that another car can.

8Realms
I would personally be up for merging all of the 'Other Jagex games' forum's into one larger forum section. Then expaning from there should the need arise, such as with the release of Stellar dawn.

Samaritan Unreal Engine Trailer
Didn't they say that current tech just can't run that though? Will be the sort of thing we see in-game next gen. Very impressive still.

RCT- Design Competition
Unfortunately I'm much too busy this week to get involved. And the next two weeks are no go's for me too. Unfortunately, I have two weeks off Uni and work after that, but by then this may have died.

They will punish us for their own incompetency. They regularly do that. Remember how W53 crashed and dozens of pros lost their binds, many of which included the extremely-rare Hexhunter bow? Yeah, Jagex doesn't care if they [bleep] up and we pay for it. If we quit, we'll just be replaced by n00bs anyway, so why should they give a [cabbage]? It is actually the players who choose to be greedy and would claim that they had lost items but hadn't which often stops Jagex from reimbursing players when worlds crash. As far as I know they do not have the technology to track which players had which items. If you wish to blame people, blame those who try to benefit. As for the cannons, it is your own choice to abuse the bug, not Jagex's. They have unintentionally left a loophole. It being present does not force you to abuse it, it is your choice. Making that choice could possibly get you banned, and any discussion on how to abuse it, or encouraging to do so here on the forums will be removed as per the forum rules, http://forum.tip.it/topic/48092-tip-it-forum-rules/ (Rule 1.1)

Considering that you are not supposed to be able to use these cannons anywhere the old one could not be used, it would count as a glitch, therefore bug abuse. (No matter how much it is Jagex's fault which i know you will try to argue) Thus it is probably a bad idea to go around using the cannons where they should not be allowed.
