Well, if you really want to know what the SODB is, the whole story then being a co-creator of it, this is it's story. WARNING! LONG READ! Last summer, June 1, 2006, if memory serves, Buddybear200, Fearspudgod, LordSoultar, and I (Captianant) were all incredibly bored. We didnt really know eachother all that well at the time, but we knew eachother by aquaintence (sp? lol). So, being incredibly bored and wanting to kill something big and dangerous (maybe a little beastly, too : ), we decided to go after the KBD. The first trip was a ton-o-fun, and we slowly started to get more people coming to the events. Eventually, we made a thread on these forums to help make a kind of meeting place where we could post when events were. Time went on, and we eventually graduated to our own forums (a link to em is in my siggy, if ya wanna check it out), where things gained more momentum. We suddenly got flooded with new members, and not enough leadership and things started to get a little..... not so amazing. As time went on, we established some rules to help controll the huge influx of new members, and try and get new leadership. Time went on, and things started to get a little more not so amazing, because of the need to protect the longtime members from people who wanted to go on trips just to cause deaths and get phr33 st00fs. Eventually, we had to shut everything down and completely re-engineer how we do things. This included getting rid of people who were no longer active, and dis-allowing any new members to join the group. Now, we have re-opened, and are now hosting our grand-re-opening event tomorrow! Sadly, I be unable to attend, so no ants at this picnic :( . Currently, we're trying to figure out a good system for allowing new members to come and still keep the comunity of close-knit freinds (since, afterall, thats how the SODB started :D ). I'm not sure exactly when it'll be finished, but we're nearing the end of the process. ahhhh you make me so jeolus! I went on 2 trips today (and no, I'm not a DK noob), and both of them ended in disaster! On my first one, It was a trio mage trip. Got in, our suicide runner did great, and we were in the groove! ....Untill the lurer came..... We just teled out, but it was still annoying... Then I went again with some other freinds, and it was a relatively smooth trip. No lurer, but it was when we were meleing Supreme, prime popped uo, and we thought, "Ok, no big. Just switch to mage prayer." Well, we were obviously taking tons of damage from prime unloading on us. Then, my buddy lagged out, and immediately died. I grabbed as much stuff as i could, chugging sara brews, and then my ring of life popped, and I was in fally, but with all my stuff (thank god!). I alerted my other 2 teammates, who were maging rex, and they grabbed as much stuff as they could, and teled out. We did a quick check of everything that we grabbed, and we missed his ranger boots and crozier. RAWR! I'm tired to getting shafted whenever I go on a trip, and reading about someone getting party hats from it lol (no offence).

yea it is! I did it when I was lv 60 or so (right after RS2 came out), with lv 29 agil. Should be a piece of cake!

hmmm, a good compromise would be a broadsword. They weigh at least 25 pounds, and are incredibly sharp. They do indeed have a sharp edge, but alot of their punch also comes from the inertia of the wepon itself. There you have it. Slash, Stab, and Crush all rolled into one convinient (but heavy) sword.
