Lol, I just laughed at official forums as everyone was crying that the game looks too childish now and they will quit playing. :) Makes me wonder how the player interface change makes the game look childish, if the game is great I don't mind what the interface looks like as long as it's usable. Personally I love the update, well maybe some tweaking here and there but it's great. I like the orange text too, the emotes are more logical now, but who uses them anyway? Perhaps mime random is easier now for players who are not so familiar with english. :roll:

I haven't got mime for months. I'm still lacking shirt and boots and one emote. :P Just play and it will come when you least expect it.

I don't know, I rather use my cash on skilling and I think I would just feel weird having all the mills attached on some silly single item.

Just started to wonder this when reading the thread about possible dragon crossbows. So does anyone have any information of the dragon metal, the one which all dragon weaponry and armour are made of? Who smithed and made all the dragon equipment and where did the materials come from? Have Jagex ever revealed something about them and have I missed it. :?: The examine info of dragon sq shield tells that it's ancient and thus they must be very old. They are called dragon and they tend to have some dragonlike design so my bet is that they are made long long time ago of some very powerful now extinct red metal dragons... Lol and it's obvious that the skill to smith dragon metal was forgotten generations ago (well you have to and can smith two pieces of dragon sq together but hammering one from few bars could be rather difficult...). But wouldn't it just be cool to have some quest where you would have to explore some deep caves and find the remains of red metal dragon and bring sample of their metal skin to some dwarven engineer etc. =P~ And are the red metal dragons extinct after all... Post your thoughts.

Yeh, I though about it too earlier and there was some talking about it when the new crossbows came. Dragon/magic crossbow would definitely be cool, maybe some crazy quest where you could obtain dragon limbs and which you would have to complete to wield the d x-bow. And maybe something to do with the ranging guild where the x-bow trader wants you to get dragon limbs and then after completion you could always buy them from store. =P~

Like said he might have used some macro tool (not program) which performs this task with one click when pressing e.g. F2 or such. Illegal still but not really detectable I think unless you use it for flooding or something.

Suggestion of reward: Cooked Evil Bob + No more Evil bob randoms + Lots of cooking and firemaking xp \ Lol, well yes. Some sort of quest of ScapeRune could be fun.

Jad always made me racing when I was killing the last 360 and knowing that he will soon spawn somewhere. Barrows became routine after time and dunno about wild, I never pk and I always log out when I see white dot when doing a clue. :oops: Done that since my first clue. And sometimes when doing coordinate in members wild I even walk all the way up there either through eastern or western sides of wild. :oops: But when running abyss I don't even bother changing worlds if there ever is some choob who is able to attack me. They can't beat me in my black hides and when I'm using house tabs/alter. I'm such a paranoid. :uhh: Maybe that's why I have never died doing rc/barrows. Once long ago I made a mistake in members wild when returning with new clue, just had to see who that white dot was and then "boom, your an ice cube...". Never going to do that again.

Didn't happen to me. Used lunar npc spell and had 99% approval. Last time I was there was about 30+ hours ago.

Good luck with getting the cape. I got mine on the 6th try after failing Jad five times. First time was the most hilarious one when he one hitted all my 91 hp on his second hit, not much practising prayer switching there... :) I used karils top and skirt too on my few first tries, but then realized that they have equal range att with black hides and hides also have better melee def and that's what you want + you don't confuse so much when changing between guthans and range gear. I wondered many times why I wasn't healing any and still had karils skirt on lol.

But, I still guess it's faster to collect your own slime (ectophial-shortcut-glory) instead of crazy world hopping. :roll:

Sure it makes it a bit easier if you have decent prayer and enough pots on disposal, but I would only use it on Jad if you still got enough pots left.

I have added my latest session too to my new Barrows log site which can be found here http://personal.inet.fi/cool/onauric/barrows/. After my first 50 chests which were dry I really started to think that Jagex had nerfed it somehow and you don't get anything with having kill count only 6 so I changed it to 15-20kc and got my first items in a row from 2nd and 3rd 20kc chests... But then again when I changed after some items back to 6kc I got like four items (2x Karils top, Ahrims skirt and flail) out of 10 chests. It's just weird.

Na, the guy who asked for food was the one asking in the pic if I got Guthans. Felt sorry for him too since he had just left the room when I entered it. Well, at least he then got all my food from the ground if he hanged around for a while. :)

This Barrows run really beats any of my previous runs including runs when I have got Guthans spears... I was doing once again one of my long Barrows sessions that had started few days earlier with 150+150 pray and super restore pots that I had gathered into my bank during the past month (I never buy any pots). This was the first Barrows session after the Veracs update so I was bit worried but I was still easily able to do 4-5 runs per trip (used to be 6-7). This was also my first time when I actually started to count my chests which turned out to be bad idea; my first 50 chests were completely dry without any items. I had been doing 6 kc so far and decided then to change it to 15-20 so that I would get at least some bloods, bolt racks and more deaths. But eventually I then started to get some items too and towards the end of my session I had gotten 13 items with Guthans helm being last one so I was quite happy anyway. No spears this time but quite good anyway. So I was on one of my last trips during this session and was doing 6 kc again. Started to do my first run, did the normal routine and killed the brothers in their tombs and Ahrim was the one luring somewhere in the tunnels this time. So I find my way to the tunnels and run my way trying to find the door to the chest. While I was running around I remember seeing this guy in Guthans with half hp in of the corner chambers, can't remember his rsn or lvl and didn't pay much attention on him and just quickly ran past him. But I had earlier wondered how some peeps have the guts to bring their Guthans in Barrows, some being even under 100 combat. So I eventually shoot Ahrim down and loot the chest and get the usual runes and coins. Tunnels start to shake and I start to run back to the ladders. I'm running in one of the side tunnels and some random guy there comes towards me and asks for some food, but I'm doing my first run and really need my food and anyway the tunnels are shaking around so I just run past him ignoring him... I'l then approach one of the corner chambers and nail my eyes on some pile lying there, in my mind I just think that some adventurer again dying there leaving spade and some lobs or similar... But then theres some Ahrims lying there... Wait, Guthans??? Seriously I have never dropped stuff as fast as I did with my monkfishes. Picked up full Ahrims (no staff), Guthans spear and helm, dragon med and scimmy, some deaths and bloods, wealth and glory, rune plate and mystic air staff. I'm still clicking like crazy on the pile to see if there's still something when this poor guy who had asked for some food comes back asking "U got the guthan?", not sure if he meant my tunnel brother or the guy who was probably now crying in fally or lumby atm... I felt bit sorry for him or for both. :roll: But the tunnels were still shaking around and I hit my house tele tab, no more runs on this trip. Home sweet home and I finally feel safe to calm down and take screenshot of my loot... Here it is I banked the stuff and prepared for new trip. I would have given the items back, but no one ever came back there claiming the stuff and I never knew the dead guys rsn. And I don't go running around asking if someone died so after few trips my Barrows session came to the end and I fixed the broken Ahrims and Guthans and added them into my Barrows log. They were now mine and they doubled my session earnings and I got my spear once again this time too after all. :) What did we learn? If you want to bring your Guthans into Barrows then it's okay. But for love of the god wear at least ring of life then! :wall:

Complete all quests, do barrows until you get every item available, play other minigames... If you don't like skilling you should play something else. :-k
