It was more aimed at Intriguin than you, but since you reply. Sure there are some talented rappers on that list. But that doesn't make it an interesting list for someone who isn't looking for mainstream rappers. If you watch MTV for a day you've heard them all. That's all. Why not advise something more 'exotic'. Everybody knows this stuff. Most those artists are rarely on MTV ('cept for Jay-Z, The Game, 2Pac [in terms of tributes and documenteries], and to an extent, Nas). Some of them are terribly underrated, such as Method Man, Cashis, etc. But I see your point. Since he was new to the genre, I just wanted to introduce him to who are IMO the top dogs, not the one-hit-wonder hip-poppers that are MTV regulars. But the underground and indie have a LOT to offer too. :)

You don't have to follow the religious aspect of it to be Jewish. The official definition of a Jew is if your mother was Jewish, then you yourself are Jewish (the father doesn't matter). That's what my friend's rabbi told me. :P Ironically, that would make me Jewish, since my birth mother was Jewish (I however was adopted into a Christian family).

Uhm, define mainstream. Sure, some of those artists are mainstream in a sense (such as Eminem, Nas, Jay-Z, etc.), but that doesn't mean they're bad. I realise some of the albums I picked are more of the mysoginistic type (such as The Chronic), but I was just picking out albums that show the majority of types of hip-hop at their best. The OP said that he/she hated mainstream rap though, which is why it was mentioned. I know, but the music I reccomended wasn't "mainstream" in that sense. Sure, some of the artists have gone mainstream (The Game, Jay-Z, Eminem, etc), but their talent shines nonetheless. It's not like I picked the whole "This is Why I'm Hot/Amusemant Park/[insert other bad mainstream song here]" music, just good music, some of which happens to be from mainstream artists.

If you saying that gays are not Christians since they're being sinners, than none of us are Christains, since we're all sinners. In the Bible, sin is forgiven, all sin, everythign from a white lie to murder, and everything in between. but if you know what the bible says..answer..can a Gay goto heaven? Yup, as can any other sinner, as long as they ask for forgiveness for their sin... Sin is sin, okay? All sin is equal in the eyes of God, if they asked for forgiveness for being a sinner, then they'd get it. If someone can get into heaven, even if they lied and cheated before, they someone else can get in for being gay. I'm sorry, but that doesn't work like that. The Bible says to confess and repent of your evil ways. That applies to everything, lying, cheaters, killers, homosexuals. You established that homosexuality is a sin, that means you have to seek forgiveness and repent of your ways, meaning you would change your homosexual ways. You can't ask for forgiveness and go right back into your sins. Therefore, a gay cannot enter into heaven. Edit: I'm curious, just because I'm not going through every page. I would at least have evidence behind my points. You do make an excellent point. But still, the point stands. Say you had lied to your parents or somethign, you then confessed and asked for repentence. What if you then go and lie again, which honestly would probably happen? You wouldn't be able to go into Heaven? Like I stated earlier, homosexuality is the same as lying, or any other sin for that matter, in the eys of God. If you apologize again (if you're sincere), then you're cleansed of that sin. Sinning honestly is just a cycle of repeating sins, then asking for forgiveness for them. That cycle can be applied to any sin, not just homosexuality. By saying that, you're saying that nobody can get into Heaven. But meh, arguing of interpretations over the Bible is hard :P And for the record, no, he hasn't qouted the Bible, not even once in this thread. He's just been bashing it. I remember one day in my math class, there was an "emo" kid, and she was depressed. My math teacher asked, "Wow, so many children are depressed, it must be emo day" She then proceeded to slam the table, cry and said she was gonna kill everyone at the school. All for being the mere mentioning of what at school is now referred to as the "e" word. Emos are typically (NOT always) suburban children with wonderful lives. I'm not insulting them for having great lives, it merely means there parents were sucessful and wanted their kids to have enjoyable lives. But they still find a reason to complain and get depressed over what mostly are very good lives. They then wear dark and tight clothes to stick out (which isn't very effective, considering how many people have taken up the clothing style nowadays...). Honestly, it all seems like crying for attention, and the craving to be unique. But, I'm not emo, so I'm not really one to judge, I guess.

The second-class cartoons this time around, huh? :P Number 1 is wihout a doubt Futurama, I find it even funnier than the Simpsons. It's a great show, hopefully it'll live to the hype on Comedy Central. (this ain't a second-class cartoon though :P) Number 2 is King of the Hill. It's funny, and points the finger at the whole southern culture of the US. Sometimes it misses the point, but is a good show nonetheless. And then, ugh, there's American Dad. it's just not funny. I never once have laughed while watching that show. Place it number 3, it's jst not funny. I predict Futurama being the runaway winner. :)

I suppose it varies from person to person, it's a mentality. But I'll say 14 so I can be considered an adult! :P :P :P
