According to Virgina, you could've been...*Disclaimer*
Don't look at me, that would make you a paedophile. Seriously, everything is being considered some form of sexual harrasment nowadays, you can't even tell someone of the opposite gender 'you look good today' without going to court. Enough is enough..

vanishing friendship
Same here. I know it's gonna end up happening someday, so I'm gonna cherish these moments while they're still here.

Disturbing....
"Put your hands behind your back or I'll spray you" "We're arrested for skateboarding?" "Yup." [He had said this after he had told them they were arrested for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest (?), etc.] It's times like these where I understand why N.W.A said "[F-word] the police"

wishes
Oh yeah, like in that movie where Satan gave some dude 3 wishes (the movie's name slips my mind), or the movie where, uh, Shaq was a genie (also can't remember the name :P )! I use to always think about way to twist around wishes to make them awful, I can't believe I forgot about it when I went into this thread. #-o EDIT: The movie with Shaq in it is called Kazzam, I Google'd it. :P

Possibility of a more inane chit-chatter subforum?
I like the idea, but I doubt that the more laid-back OT would be able to generate a high level of conversation, it will probably end up being mostly spammed. The more serious OT would probably be home to lots of flame wars, and would probably be very depressing, as most serious topics are. It's a good idea, but probably woouldn't be able to meet it's potential. I think at this point the OT is balanced out, seperating the two will make one too silly/spammy and the other will be too depressing.

For the British: Is this the worst summer ever so far?
I love rain. I put on my jacket, go out to the park with my iPod, just sit there, listening to music and thinking. But I live in the middle of the desert (AZ :x ) so it's a rare occasion. Rain is expected next week though, so that's cool. Anyway, hope some sunshine goes your way (I wish I could give you some of AZ's sunshine, 100 degrees Farenheight daily is a bit too much sunshine -.- ).

Goodbye Blair, a great leader or disappointment .
Being allies he's forced to. Technically you could justify that the Brits still owe the US for WWI and WWII support. And I liked Blair. He legalized gay marriage, which is great, it means he's for equality and can see past people's exterior appearance and knows what really matters. And as a friend said, he just followed Bush on Iraq, he practically had no choice since the US and Britain are such close allies. Care to explain how Britain "owes" America a war? "An eye for an eye" you're telling me? A war for a war? :? Don't act like you're intelligent enough to know anything about the people I mentioned. No, that's called being allies. When you are allies, you support each other, and help with one another's difficulties. The fact that America helped Britain through both World Wars, and vice-versa, only strengthend their alliance, it didn't make either of them "owe" anything. Wther or not Str0wez knows the rest or not, it doesn't chage the fact that he didn't say he was the best, merely one of the best. You're putting words in his mouth, and now you're trying to justify doing so. And if you do in fact reply to me, Striker, try to do so without having to insult me to try to defend your point. :| Except, in the words of Viktor 'Technically you could justify that the Brits still owe the US for WWI and WWII support' which is the point in what I was replying to. America helped their allies in the wars? Ummm no America entered WW2 because they were attacked by the Japanese they wouldn't have declared war on Germany the only reason they went to war with Germany was because hitler declared war on America :| not because "allies support eachother" heh. Uhm, no. That may be the reason the US entered the war, but still. If they wanted to, they could've just done it all by themselves (though that would've been difficult), they didn't HAVE to ally themselves with Britain, but due to strategic benefits and previous alliances, they did anyway. It was beneficial to both, and in the end strengthened both nation's ties. So yeah, allies support each other.

Mortal Kombat vs Grand Theft Auto(Poll)
This belongs in Video games, you might wanna get it moved. :P EDIT: And for the record, GTA, Mortal Kombat was never really fun after III. And why are you comparing two totally different games, they're almost totally unsimilar..

vacation mishaps - share your experiences!
On my trip to Hawaii, we went to a zoo, and we got to do an acitivity with the dolphins. While in there, a baby dolphin kept coming up to and started nibbling on my toes, needless to say it was scary. The trainer said it liked me, which is why it was doing that. Right after she said that, the dolphin rushed towards and buttheaded me right in the stomach. even with my life vest on, it knocked the air right out of me. Ever since then, dolphins have been my least favorite animal. :x

Official Hiphop/rap track of the day
Yeah, but 50 isn't like...Y'know, good. :? I don't think rap is better than rock, or vice-versa, they're two totally different things that are hardly comparable.
