Music genres you Can't stand?[flame war=ban]
It's FAR from the majority of rappers. It's a very tiny niche that just have the same subject matter, and that's just the 50 Cent stereotype that people like to throw all rappers into, like you just did. Plenty of producers make beats with their own guitar or drum skills. Look at the Dr. Dre, Mike Elanzo, Scott Storch, Kanye West (though sampling is where he really shines) they all create a good amount of their beats with actual instruments. Dre's drumming is some of the best I've ever heard.

Star Wars: The Famous Legacy
You wanna laern about EU stuff? For free summaries, pictures, and such, try the Star Wars Wiki: http://wookieepedia.com It is very interesting, you can learn just about everything Star Wars related, it's crazy. And to actually start on the EU, I'd reccommend my favorite form, the video games. The two KOTOR games are amazing, Republic Commando details some gritty battles of the clone wars, the Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy games take place 40 years after the events of ROTJ, the upcoming game, The Force Unleashed, takes place inbetween Episodes III and IV (Not all EU takes place outside the movie saga, a lot of it is during or inbetween the movies). For non-gamers, there's also another upcoming (animated) Star Wars feature-presentation movie, The Clone Wars, which will chronicle one of it's many campaigns and make way for the upcoming cartoon series on CN (and if it is anything like the first Clone Wars microseries, it will be fantastic), and a lotta other stuff. Yep, it finished up about a month ago. You can check Wookieepedia for the summary.

Star Wars: The Famous Legacy
I liked Legacy of the Force. But yeah, Yuuzhan-Vong arc is epic as hell.

Star Wars: The Famous Legacy
Right, Kaleesh, I think the masks they wore were the skulls of an animal starting with M. And didn't Dooku actually arrange his mysterious crash? Its hinted at, but I dont really know much about it.

Star Wars: The Famous Legacy
Yeah, he got revived by putting his legs back on or something... like that's never been done before... Now they're going to try to revive greivous if they haven't already. Also wouldn't be suprised if Ben Kenobi was really alive, like he made a force twin or something.... This is how it is according to me. Jedi went to Naboo, found kid, Qui gon died, anakin's obi wans master, they do whatever happened in The Attack of the Clones, the clone wars, what happened in Revenge of the Sith, Luke skywalker is born, fights the empire, slays the emperor and sees his father's face and they secure the galaxy. The end. *Runs to the fanboy-proof bunker* Alright, cool. You're basically saying "All this stuff isn't canon because I don't want it to be!" which doesn't change the saga, or the fact that all that stuff I wrote was canon...:| And for the record, not ell EU stuff is good. There's some terrible stuff, too. Nobody really cares about Ewok Adventures...

Star Wars: The Famous Legacy
Dooku left the Order because he felt that the Jedi had become no more than pawns of the senate, just a galactic security service to the senates wishes; and to an extent, he was right. He felt the need to work for justice, not politics. Grevious is a Kaleesh. During the clone wars, his species is at war with a rival species, the Huk. The Huk recieved Republic support because their world was rich with ore. Grevious later was involved in a mysterious starship crash that almost killed him. While dying, he swore veangence on the Jedi and republic for siding with the Huk. The confederacy then repaired him, and in exchange he became general of their droid army, and Dooku gave him lightsaber training. And when Maul died, that wasn't the last the galaxy so of him...

Jagex, **** or get off the pot.
I think Jagex is focusing on gameplay aspectsd right now rather than quest aspects. I'm they'll all get tied up into a pretty knot sooner or later.

Star Wars: The Famous Legacy
Those aren't "knock-offs", they're actual stories set in the Star Wars universe that are canon. Some of them are even written by Lucas himself. You've obviously never read them, they're really good. Some are even better than the movies. Hating the Expanded Universe stuff just because it isn't in movie form is rediculous. You're missing out on the whole picture by just looking at the two trilogies, dude. And Expanded Universe isn't just novels, either. It's comics, video games (such as Battlefront, KOTOR, the upcoming The Force Unleashed), TV shows (like that Clone Wars minisaga on CN, or the upcoming live action series), a ton of stuff. If you don't know about this stuff, you'll never see some way interesting stuff, like WHY Grevious sided with the Confederacy, or why Dooku left the Jedi Order. Really important stuff to the saga.

The Dark Knight [Tag all spoilers, please]
Two-Face's face has been shown already, and they did nicely. And Ledger will NOT disappoint. He locked himself alone in a hotel for 30 days to prepare for the role, to get the psychology down (he read a copy of The Killing Joke, the comic which explains Joker's canon backstory). That's dedication, man. I am so freakin' hyped for this movie    !

Star Wars: The Famous Legacy
Wether you like it or not, it IS canon. Lucas greenlighted it and everything. And for the record, the empire reborn is one of the coolest arcs EVER.

Star Wars: The Famous Legacy
the other 3 never happened. I was wondering the same thing...Don't forget IV, V, and VI dude. Anyways, I'm such a diehard Star Wars fan. Always kept it a closet thing though. :geek: The saga is my favorite saga ever, it's insane. I'm into the series and the Expanded Universe, mainly video games, though I've read some comics online (shh) and stuff. Some crazy stuff happens that's not in the movies, both before and after. Some examples: (spoiler tagged, even though this info's been known for years): [hide=]-Chewbacca dies -Palpatine comes back to life through cloning -Han and Leia have twins, one of which turns to the dark side and becomes one of the strongest Sith Lords ever, Darth Caedus -Luke Skywalker rebuilds the Jedi Order -The old ways of the Sith (The Rule of Two) are abandoned, a sith named Darth Krayt creates an entire new sith order composed of many sith lords)[/hide] ...And that's not even the half of it. Favorite movie: Return of the Jedi Favorite Scene: Where Vader and Luke duel as Palpatine watches Favorite Jedi: Luke Skywalker Favorite Sith Lord: Darth Nihilus Favorite EU piece: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic  ....Man, that was the nerdiest thing I have written in my life. *goes to play basketball, weight lift, run track* :D

The Dark Knight [Tag all spoilers, please]
I was saying it passes the hype of RotS for me personally, not on a public scale. :P And I used RotS as an example becuase it was the last movie I was hyped for. Yeah, me and my friends have been checking Fandango everyday for Friday night showings (not the midnight showing, Thursday night is a school night for us  ) because we know this will sellout like hotcakes. And on top of that, we're gonna show up like an hour and a half prior to the showing to guarentee good spots.

The Dark Knight [Tag all spoilers, please]
....I came to this board and saw a variety of topics, but none on this soon-to-be amazing movie! I have never been so hyped for a movie since Revenge of the Sith (nah, my hype for this surpasses that)! Anybody else feeling the same? Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8PPh-C9pRU&feature=related There are many, many more trailers for this movie (like 5 official ones, over 20 ones from the viral campaign), but this one is a personal favorite. Joker's the greatest villian of all-time! Update 7-16-08: Well, we're 2 days away from the movie here in the states, and it's released in Australia already. Reviews and such are out. With the plot and it's pivotal points slowly becoming known by more and more people, if anybody here finds and wishes to discuss pivotal and vastly unkown plot points, please use the "hide" tags to post them (that goes for European and US releases too). Here's how the code works [hide=]spoiler[/hide] Which would end up looking like: [hide=]spoiler[/hide] Really useful, right? :D

Adult swim sucks
Well, I can understand that/ When an anime has had it's run, let it do reruns, then let it ride out it's DVD sales. They did the same with stuff like Big-O and Samurai Champloo (terribly underated), and all there other animes. ....Except for the most overated anime of all-time. You guys know what it is.

Your *outrageous* fast-food experience.
Okay, so I was a Taco Bell with a couple friends, we all got average-sized meals, then a dude ordered 9 chalupas with no lettuce and cheese, but he got lettuce and cheese on them anyway. He went back to get the right stuff, they were about to toss them, and he was like "Nah, give it to that basketball kid" (I was wearing a t-shirt of my high school's basketball team 'cause I'm on it). So we got 3 free chalupas, each! Outrageous? Outrageously awesome!

Runescape HD/Full Screen - What will F2P Get?
HD will probably be F2P as well, because that's just good marketing. A potential member may play RS the first time and be like "Ughh...." and never play again. With HD, however, they would be enticed, and keep playing, possibly becoming a member down the road... However, Fullscreen will probably stay member's only, since that's what they did with funorb...

mario kart wii stars
I hate attempting 3-stars in Mario Kart Wii. But yeah, best way to geta star: -Don't hit obstacles -Don't go off-road (besides when using mushroom boosts and the like) -Don't fall off the track (i.e. into lava, water, bottomless pits, etc.) -Make 1st place every race Doing this basically guarentees you a star. but for a one-star, you can afford 2nd place once or twice (though it reduces your chances)
