Honestly, despite Nas being a big case of hit-or-miss (Need we bring up Nastradamus? Or half of I Am... And Street's Disciple? :P ), I agree with this statement ever. Best solo rapper (Best group is the Wu) ever, IMO. There's a lot more to say. Free speech, taking power from the word, weakening it, etc.

I would reccommeed basketball, but at an 8:30 mile? Get out to da track, dude. :shame: An average basketball player has to be able to sprint up and down the court man, and you're ready for if you can get it in under 7 minutes. It's tough, but you gotta work through it. Don't let something as tiny as weather get to you. When working out or getting in shape, determination is key. You can't let anything that may hinder your abilities get in the way, unless it's an injury. Work through it. The feeling of accomplishment you get after it is like no other. :)

Movie was really, like mentioned above, a breath of fresh air from typical "rise to riches and fall from it" movies. Denzel acting was near flawless, as usual. :) And the album, whew boy, that was great. It's my fourth favorite Jay album behind Reasonable Doubt, Blueprint, and The Black Album. My favorite tracks are Success (Another great Jay-Nas collabo), Fallin', Blue Magic, and Pray. Definetly one of the best albums this year, up there with Eardrum, Graduation, etc. :D

You don't know anythign about rap, if you did, you'd realise outside of the mainstream, there's not much rappign about shooting, drugs, crunk (this one especially). And don't use the radio as a reason. Radio music displays mainstream of ALL genre, the radio is the prime example for mainstream music of ANY genre. If you're using the radio to find music you'd like, then your judgement is pretty questionable. Yeah. Anti-racism, fairness, equality, critcism of corrupt politics, love, friendship, respect, religion, and enlightment of other cultures sucks. I seriously LOVE getting in rap debates with the biased people on these boards nowadays, 'cause I always win them because they never know what they're talking about, assuming they're experts because they've heard hip-hop on MTV and the radio. :D But anyway, both Banner and Master P were correct (though I don't listen to either of them). Master P wasn't exactly supporting women's rights with his lyrics, but it's good to know he's willing to apologize and change for it. Too bad he's about 10 years late now, being an instrumental figure in the rise of the South, which lead to the apparent death of hip-hop.. And Banner's right too. Why is the government getting so upset over people rapping about the ghetto? If they would DO somethign about the impovershed neighborhoods and projects across America, there'd be no backlash from rappers. Sure, Banner isn't the example that should be used of someone talking about the ghetto (I think Nas, Talib Kweli, etc. would be a much better example), but that doesn't mean that the current situations of ghettos and projects aren't in need of change.

That was freaking awesome. My heart was freakin' pumping! Anyway, Fresh Prince is one of my favorite shows. Hilarious, and the serious ones are hit and miss, but an all-around great series.

King Dedede was the most highly wanted character on the polls for Brawl (which were Japan-only). And he's been being planned since the original SSB, so yeah, it's no surprise he's in. I'm pretty happy about it though. :D
