(Note if your graphics card does not meet the requirements for RSHD, there's nothing that can be done about it but buying a new graphics card. This is for those who's graphics cards DO either meet or exceed the reuqirements, but the game still won't load) (If this should be moved to the help forum, feel free to do so, but I thought it'd be more useful here since this forum gets the most traffic, so more people with this problem could see it) I'm sure there has been others like me who woke joyous to find what could be considered one of RS2's biggest updates ever, only to find out their graphcs card wouldn't support the game, which was found odd, since the card meets/exceeds the requirements. I found it weird because my computer has played semi-high-end games like Star Wars: KOTOR and Splinter Cell: Chaos Thoery without a hitch. Even after updating every driver I could think of, no luck. The solution lies (for some cases) in the download section of the Runescape site: 1.) Go to Runescape.com 2.) Click the "Downloads and Wallpaper" section 3.) There is a program at the very top of the list, called "Windows Client". This is basically a program that lets you run RS as you normally would, only without having to log onto an internet program such as Firefox, Internet Explorer, AOL, etc. Naturally, being from Jagex, it is 100% safe and virus free. 4.) Click the "Click Here" to download, and run or save it, whichever you prefer (I saved it, and put on my desktop for convience, so I would reccomend that) 5.) Run it, and it's basically the exact same thing as the normal RS site. 6.) Try HD and see if it works. I can't guarentee this to work, but it did for me and a few others on the RSOF. Once again, note that if your graphics card simply doesn't meet the requirements, this won't do a thing. This is only for those who have graphic cards that meet or exceed the standards, yet can't run the game. It is a beta afterall, and in due time, I sure it will work normally for all who have the ability to run it once the kinks have been worked out. Hope this helps! :D

Man something's wrong with ym comp....It meets all the standards, yet the game won't load. I have enough RAM, GHZ, Java is newest version, everything... If my computer can run Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, KOTOR, and all that stuff, then it should certainly be able to load this...right?

I'm way confused.... My graphics card, processor, RAM, EVERYTHING, is more than capable of handling this new high detail mode, and I'm 100% sure of it. Nearly 1GB of RAM, 3.0GHZ, 128MB memory, everything's in order, yet I keep getting the message saying my computer isn't strong enough. I've TRIED installing the new drivers for my graphics card (Intel 910GL Express Chipset Family), it's says I'm installing the wrong drivers when I try to run the program. I know this is Tip.It, and no a tech forum, but still, any help would be appreciated, I wanna see the new detail....

I don't even need to go over why songs like "Dear Mama", "Keep Ya Head Up", "Me Against the World", etc. instantly debunk your shock claim. 50 Cent made some good songs before he went to a major label with the Aftermath-Shady joint venture, but eh fell off now. I don't know who Leona Lewis is. Fergie's made good songs, just because you heard London Bridge or something doesn't make her a bad artist. You're just ignorant. Black Eyed Peas is the same as Fergie, just replace London Bridge with My Humps. Shawn Kingston made Colors 2007, a great song. Not exactly the guy I would choose to represent the Reggae of the new generation, but whatever. DJ's don't rap songs, they eveither play them for the people or scream over them (i.e DJ Kayslay, Khaled, Big Mike, etc.). Sycosis' ignorance fails yet again. ....Anyway, the worst song ever in my view is not Crank Dat, but Booty Meat, by Soulja Boy.

The leaders of hip hop ar enormally considered people like KRS-1, Grandmaster Flash, Jay-Z, Nas, etc. People who have been the buisness a ong time who have made great music. ....Ray, Medellin, Harrington, etc., why do you all continue to attack hip-hop/rap thread after thread? You use the same reasons every time, you get the same (correct) answers all the time, you don't reply knowing you're wrong, disappear, and come back a lil' while later? Your hatred for this music shows your intolerence, ignorance, and stupidity more than anything else could. You proceed to hate and hate and hate on this genre while still accepting nothing we have said to you guys. Give me any reason why hip-hop and rap are bad genres, and they'll apply to everyother genre and/or will only aply to a small fraction of hip-hop. Turn off the radio, turn off MTV, because they're making you guys think you know all about hip-hop when you really don't. Dude's hit or miss. Some songs he kills it, like Lonely, Sweetest Girl, Don't Matter. Other songs liek Smack That or garbage to me. And just about all his videos are awful. He has a good voice, and being a big name, aways gets good production, it all depends on the subject matter of the song to me.

There's a lot more to say. Free speech, taking power from the word, weakening it, etc. I don't think so. It's derogatory term that insults lots of people around the world. I don't think it should be used, never mind the fact that it's going to be on a public album cover. So would you rather censor any derogatory terms? What about b**ch? Certainly there are more females than there are black people. Censoring one word only starts us (as a society) on a downward slope. The N-word is where people should draw the line, IMO. Censoring the word will only upset everyone. Don't forget, the n-word can also be a term of love, further confusing and tangling the situation (I'm sure Nas will be addressing that too). Instead, taking the power away from the world would be soemthing much more effective.

We The Best had like 1 good track, the one with Bone Thugs. The lyrics were awful, the wordplay stunk, the topics were boring mindless stereotypical ones, and it was the pinnacle of what's wrong with hip-hop nowdays. :shame:
