  1. Sweet, ICs are back. The roster needs a character as unique as them. =D>
  2. I shook my head while reading the blatant racism, stereotyping, and ignorance in this thread. Good job Ray, did you get your little revenge over something that upsetted you over the internet? By demeaning a culture that has been opressed as soon as it shot up? If I were to say rock culture was all "emo kids" who just sit around crying over their lives, would I be correct? Hell no. So what makes this correct?
  3. No. They aren't. Stop kidding yourself. Yes, yes they are. Maybe you don't like them, but you can't deny he's a hit. And damn the dance to go with Crank Dat is nice. No, they're not. Just because they;re popular doesn't make them awesome. I know plenty of club songs that are wayyy better. And the dance is stupid. But than again, I don't like many dances. :P
  4. We'll just have to wait and see, it certainly has the potential to...
  5. MTV is promoting the very same hip-poppers (trust me, they are not rappers/MCs , they are posion to the amazing culture thast ahs been smeared over the last few years...), they do not promote social equality. If you have seen MTV, you would see that gays are standardly portrayed as very loose men who are superficial and snobbish, which is just abotu as stereotypical as it can get. MTV supporting the mysogyny (SP?) and stereotyping = Not promoting social equality.
  6. Nobody's confirmed for the game 'til it's on the Dojo or in a trailer, so it's unkown for the msot part who's goin' to come back. Ness is the most uncertain. Though he's one of the original 12, he was originally gonna be replaced by Lucas of Mother 3, but due to time constraints, they kept him in. Nintendo also wants to import mother 3 here, and Lucas would be an amazing way to hype it up. We'll have to wait and see.
  7. Don't worry, his opinions havn't been relevant for about 4 years now. Ja Rule is one of the most ignorant, self-centered, hypocritical rappers ever, I for one am very happy he is no longer at the hype he used to have, it's better for the whole genre of hip-hop/rap.' Such blatant hatred doesn't belong anywhere.
  8. Bandos godsword, full Sara Rune, 10K sharks, all the barrows sets, and the rest to go towards skilling.
  9. Does anybody think Sheik's coming back? Afterall, Sheik was a character of an alter ego of Zelda, who has now taken her TP form, which is (surprise) Sheik-less...
  10. Okay, maybe I forgot about Cam. I wouldn't be surprised, afterall he did do a YouTube video in his boxers, get knocked out by Tru Life for talking a lotta garbage, admit to not calling the cops on a serial killer if they were his next door neighbor, told Bill O'Reilly "youuuuuu maddddd, you maddddd, I got dirt on you doggie" (But nas' makes up for it with that interview he did awhile ago making I'Reilly look like the clown he is), and tried to make purple cool. :P It's much more than that. This is the biggest release date in hip-hop history (well, I suppose that could be debated, but that's another story). This is the public telling the media what kind of direction they want hip-hop to take: The same garbage that's been being shoved down the mainstream throat for the last 5(ish) years (with some notbale exceptions of course), or a new change, one that is at least lyrically more creative and deeper than what it is now.
  11. Because, come on, let's be honest, it's a game targeted at the 8-12 yeard old audience. That by no means makes it a bad game, btu if you're playign it and not expecting to be made fun of, well, that stinks. And I dunno if I'll get flamed for this, but there are better handheld RPGs than Poke'mon, such as Final Fantasy Tactics Advance...
  12. It's usually the other way aroudn for me. I called a teacher baldy at the request of another teacher, now anytiem I mess up in basketball conditioning or something (even something tiny liek not going allt he way down for a push-ups), he tells me I'm better suited for the special olympics and I should try out.
  13. Nobody's ever done that....If you're referring to 50, his whole shooting incident happened before he went major... And after the first day (I copped graduation :D , Champion, Good Life, and Big Brother are my favorite tracks), and I sqwear to God, Kanye SOLD OUT. There were people waiting in a line for the second shipment. Curtis sat there. Apparently Kanye is winnign at slaes in this point. Wonderful news for the progression of hip-hop. :D
  14. He called that bet off, much to hip-hop's dismay. ...Anyway, I swear, marketing scheme or no, this is so important to hip-hop. If Curtis sells more, it'll just be showing that hip-hop's mainstream audience are happy with half-assed club banger afetr club banger, proccedingly downgrading in intelligence to the point where hip-hop will surely die. If Kanye, outsold him, however, it would show that hip-hop is ready for a change. Honestly, I can't really tell what the change will be, but I'm postive it'll be better than the slump it's been in now. TBH, I'm not even all that much of a Kanye fan, but at least he is real and is what the average rapper should be in twerms of subject matter and lyrical ability. So if you can tomorrow, buy Graduation, seriously. I will be. And I don't even liek Kanye, that's why I'm not doing ti for Kanye. I'm doing this for the future of one of the biggest influences of not only my life, but the entire globe.
  15. The Message -Nas I haven't listened to It Was Written in ages..
  16. High schools take sports seriously. There are titles and championships to be won. Plus if your school wins state championships enough they'll eventually get a good rep for that sport ;) I know, honestly, it's scarin' the [cabbage] outta me. I've been playing sports since elementary, and though I love the sport, I play it just because of that, I love it. I play for fun, and don't get me wrong, I play to win, but if I lost but I played to my best capabilities, I feel great anyway. The pressure that comes with high school sports seems liek it sucks all the fun out of it. I'll still play, I wanna have sports on my resume', it's just all the pressure takes it's toll mentally...
  17. Everythign that needs to eb said has already been said. So all I have to say is long live the king.
  18. Bleh, a poke'ball update, one of my least fav's (ah well, very few games get this kinda treatment, so I try to remain happy about it). Come on new character. Hopefulyl a veteran like C. Falcon or perhaps a newcomer (COMMMMEEEE ONNN RIDLEYYYY :D )
  19. Dumbell curls, Inclined dumbell lifts, Dips (find somethign like a bench, strech your arms backwards and grab onto it. Then take your legs out as far as you can, and start dipping your body, it's an awesome workout that works out nearly everywhere), medicine ball push-ups (do push-ups while holding onto a medicine ball in one hand, hard as all hell but really worth it, and be sure to alternate between hands) are some of my best ones. Also, I don't advise working out just your upper body. That'll make your body unbalanced, which sn't very good. You should also do back workouts (stuff like medicineball squats work well), corte workouts (My favorite since ladies love the 6 pack :D , crunches, leg lifts, sit-ups [though you can really hurt your back doin' these, which is why I would advise cruneches more], et) Leg workouts ( Calf-lifting, step-ups, even simpel stuff liek jogging, gotta have joggin' in any workout :P ), etc. It's much more beneficial to work out your entire body because it'll just make you stronger as a person. Not to mention it's be kinda weird to see some guy with totaly ripped Biceps, triceps, etc. but no 6-pack and some skinny legs. :P
  20. Than you obviously don't know the numbers either of these artists due, even in the current downward slump of sales in the current market.
  21. I'm much more doubtful of it this time around. The same 15-year-old suburbanites you mentioned are just fad-followers, and 50 is just that, a fad. 50 has lost a ton of steam afetr he took the mainstream direction, and that steam can be seen in his 6 singles off the album, all of which ('cept for Ayo Technology, that was a decent hit, but by no means a decent song) flopped. It's showing that even his fanbase is leaving him. But Kanye, on the other hand, ahs onyl had a growing fanbase. He's been tapping into other genres (the techno-ish feel of Stronger, the remix he did with the Panic at the Disco band), which has made a huge impacvt on his fanbase.
  22. For those who don't know, 50's next album, Curtis, was supposed've been released a while ago. However, due to his inability to hype the album (his usual "I'ma beef with every rapper in sight" tactic didn't work out so well this time), it ended getting pushed bak to September 11th. Kanye West, another rapper, saw this as an oppurtunity to create a "celebration for hip-hop", decided to have his album moved to the 11th as well. Well, this created a lot of tension. Both sides starting going on about how "I'm gonna sell more" and stuff. The stakes were raised so high that 50 gambled his future solo career on him outselling Kanye (Though he later took it back). It's boiled up to the point where it's on the cover of Rolling Stone. This has ended up being described as one of hip-hop's most hyped up moments, and honestly will have a future in deciding hip-hop's future (will the mainstream stuff continue being the kinda stuff 50 would put out, i.e Candy Shop, Amusemant Park, I Get Money [i personally hope to God not] or will it take a psuedo route like that of Kanye?). By the looks of the battle at this point, it is really too hazy to predict who will come out on top. For those who didn't know, record sales have been at an all-time low for a variety of reasons, and hip-hop/rap was hit the hardest out of all genres, so this is seen as a motivation for music listeners to go out and BUY the album instead of just downloading it. Thsi could help out sales in hip-hop as well, and will without a doubt boos thte potential numbers 50 and Kanye originally had. So who do you want to come out on top? Who do you expect to come out on top, 50? Kanye? Kenny Chesney (Google him)? Spider Loc (NAHHHHH  )? And on a final note, to those who don't like hip-hop/rap, that's totally fine, everyone has their opinions on music. I don't go into other threads disrespecting other people's taste in music, and from what I've seen, neither do any of the rap/hip-hop listeners ont this board. So please show that same respect and don't get into an argument of why rap/hip-hop is bad music, stupid, etc. Because it in the end is all a matter of opinion. ..Anyway, I'm expecting Kanye to outsell 50. Kanye has expanded to such a wide audience he's gonna sell big time without a doubt. 50 however, ahs a fanbase that's onyl been reducing in size, due to the many beefs he's had (Game, Ja, Jada, Nas, Fat Joe, Ghostface Killah[of the Wu], now Lil' Wayne, and possibly Jay and Diddy) and commercial direction he's taken. It can easily be seen in his labelmate's Mobb Deep, Lloyd Banks, and Young Buck's record sales. So yeah, post away!
  23. Waffle= Butter and Syrup Pancakes= Pancakes are the waffle's inferior, but if I had to choose, I'd say...butter and syrup :P Crepe= Never had one :P
  24. FInal Destination wa sone of my favorite stages, it was great! Sure, if you were upa gainst someone with a lotta ranged moves such as Link, Samus, etc., things'll be harder, but other than that, it's great. And speaking of stages, the WarioWare stage looks to be the best stage ever, lol. :D
  25. Meh, I didn't liek the song much besides Game's verse. I thought it was kinda weird how he'd defend the South afetr how he was talkin about hhow he'd let off a shot if saw Atlanta come on the telly? He's a great raper, but sometimes I wonder f he's bipolar :P . I was gonna go off on that 'til I noticed he was banned. What a shocker.
