  1. QueenValerie said Thanks Krisc6 that is what I was using the Tipit player guide and still I was crashing. I was not aware we only need to balloon from Varrok now I just need to find it. You have to unlock it from Entrana, so... The player guide is good as a guide but it does not give every step of the way. Use your common sense/ judgement together with the guide (which has some small mistakes) and you will get there. Once you did the Varrock unmock I advise to unlock them all now. Once you know what to do it is easy. These routes are good for making your own planks and for crafting laws, so unlock them. When you mine 2 ores you get double experience and a message. I did not get any exp for gems that i got while mining coal, I thought thay gave 65 exp before....
  2. They also cant use fire arrows, poisoned arrows, broad arrows, nor can they use brutal arrows or ogre arrows, I start wondering which arrows can they use on free to play?
  3. 1.Getting 99 agility 2.Smithing my own Dragon fire shield 3.Making a fury for a friend 4.Getting a visage drop
  4. I used to be ranked 160 in range on august 2. Now I am ranked 117 and I barely got 8k range exp (nothing compared to the almost 25 mill total range exp). It went first from 160 to 136 and then to 117 over a few weeks time in which I almost did not range. This means that jagex is banning some very high exp accounts in range. It gives me a good feeling. I remember checking one of the accounts and seeing almost nothing but range and hp exp. So good job Jagex and death to all cheaters.
  5. I'm about 75% sure they are the equivalent of adamant. Well the 25% that isn't sure is right. It's the same as Mithril :P Well I am sure as I used many 1000s of broad arrows: they are a little bit worse than addy but can have the same max hit very rarely. My max hit with range pot (113 range level) on rapid with addy arrow is 18, I had that several dozens of times. My max hit with broad arrow is also 18 in the same circumstances but I only had it once and probably on a mage short special. So both of you are wrong, broad arrows neither follow mith nor addy. they are in between but closer to addy than to mith.
  6. Niet slecht voor een zotte klak. Chance dat er een goeie speler onder die mutse zit. Freely translated: Not bad at all 10 99ers at that level. Congratulations.
  7. A player who just became 99 mining used noted waterskins which he sold in general store of nearby camp. and bought them back... This costs a little extra, but you do not need to be on lunar like you would need to be for humidify spell.
  8. Skill planner crafting: It has Diamond bracelet at level 42, this is a typo, it should be Ruby bracelet. I did not check if the exp was right. There is a diamond bracelet at level 58 were it should be, that is why I say that it is a typo.
  9. I was 1836 total at 90 combat before hunter came out. I also wanted to do all quests, so that is why I passed 90 combat and can not be compared to Jorus, the Tallest and Swampjedi. I still am below 100 combat and I think that I could be the best skiller below 100 combat at the moment. Low combat does not always mean no fighting. O:) One of the things I think about is getting 99 slayer at combat 99... Of course I would also have 99 hitpoints. 2066 Total at the moment for 98 combat. So skill along and do slayer. If you pick the right combat styles, your combat level could stay low.
  10. I used my gloves of silence now for several hours pickpocketting masterfarmers, they caught me at least more than 100 times (lost count...but ate 15+ monks and 5+ strawberries on masterfamers (so that is 90+), I also pickpocketed knights, guards, elves and paladins... My first pair of gloves still has not disappeared. So maybe at 99 your gloves can not decay anymore, kinda same system as passing obstacle in abbys, at lvl 99 you never fail to pass thief or agility obstacle. I wanted to post this as I think that my gloves could have unending life. [pokemama 6/4: my thieving is not nearly that high and I've never lost a pair either. Lol, wouldn't it be stupid if the wearout is somehow tied to Hunter? Because my Hunter level is 74. At any rate, the inconsistency of the info is why the guide is not yet more specific. Need more data!!]
  11. I like most updates, but please ditch the ditch.
  12. On my road to 99 thief i stole about 3k of rannar seeds... Lets say that snaps and all others account another 50% of that value. So 4.5k seeds x 6 weeds per seed x 8k per weed = 225 mill from thief over farm. I also stole 25k gems, mined 25k gold ores, made 25k nats after making unstringed unenchated ammies i high alched for 800ea average = 20 mil So rewards for my 99 thief combined with a pinch of my other skills brought me 245 mill. Mining iron brought me about 20k iron ores smithed them to 100k iron knives = only 4 mill but this is only 700k mining exp from the 13 mill needed so doing this would give you 75 mill for 99 smith and mining. 25k ammies made gave me about 2.9 mill craft exp...enough to make glories and black bodies...loads of extra money that could be made in those days...If you do battlestaffs or bowstrings, then also there is a load of money to be made. Woodcutting to 99 on yews brings about 13 mill...mages bring a lot more (35 mill+) Fletching those logs while making ur own natures...makes another 300 ea per log = another 13 mill Farming the tree seeds from nests costs u nothing, selling them would rake in another few mill. Selling the 500 dropped nests gives another mill. Fish 99 on monks = 100k monks 300ea = 30 mill Doing slayer 99 = at least 8 dragon drop = 4 mill? 3k of good herb seeds = 150 mill 10k bloods 30k deaths 100k chaos If you do the clues...at least 100 rune picks, axes, 200 full helms (drops + clues) 80 plates, 50 legs, 50 scimmies from fire giants, 200 rune longs (drops + clues) 10 black masks rune meds at least 100, 50 crystal keys and so on and on So at least 200 mill, not counting any god items or Robin from treasure trails, just the usual stuff. Yeah, according to me 500 mill would be easy peasy to get, but a lot of it will still be sitting in items at the end of all of it. .....Sjefderat .......Expert Farmer, Master Thief
  13. Now start a new topic...closest_______to teleport
  14. 12pure34 You seem to be a dagannoth hunter, go to light house and kill daganoths for 1 hour. Do you do slayer? I do, so when I am slayering, often I will not be farming. The seeds from nechryaels, mossies, ogres, turoths, dagannoths, cave horrors and trolls pile up and after a while you can do some good farming. Did you see the line about masterfarmer thieving? I pickpocket on average 4 rannar seeds per hour, about 6 per farm round, these I do not have to farm, because I also pickpocket 4 avantoe+ seeds per farm round or more. I gave away to my bro and nephew several 100s of irits and toadflax seeds, they are so common that they are annoying. I drop all harra and lower. I have 85 herblore and never bought any unids and also never went to kill herb droppers just for this purpose. It all comes from thief and slayer. Before I was 99 thief (long ago) I was top 250 farming because of me leveling thief on masterfarmers. But getting other skills left farm in the background for a year now (no more thieving of seeds). So in that year I "only" got up from 85 farm to 91 on drops for slayer and also on tree seeds for getting oak logs for construction. I am sure that whenever I reach slayer 99 and construction 99 that my farm will also be close to 99 without the need to buy any seeds. So I multitask and I am patient... If I wanted farm fast, I would just continue construction so as to have tree seeds, and pickpocket enough from those masterfarmers to continue farmrounds.
  15. For those that did not do my arm quest. Would it be possible for them to get the tuber (for the quest) from Murcailly and use it to do achievement diary. Then get another tuber for the quest or even more tubers to sell? That way every 60% favour you would be guaranteed a tuber.
  16. Well people out there here it comes: most of runescapers do not think ahead or far. Thieving is fastest in pyramid plunder and second fastest with knights in Ardy... If you would thieve masterfarmers you could get 8+ rannar + herb seeds per hour and also 6 watermelon seeds and 10 strawberry seeds and so many other seeds... So chose 40k exp per hour thief and plenty of farm and herb exp. Or 100k+ thief exp per hour. Try killing turoths or abberant specters or daganoths for 1 hour, then come back and plant your herb seeds... You will never be able to plant them in time... Even mossies and ogres drop a nice amount of seeds... So what are you guys talking about?? Not enough seeds? Ah but I understand you do pestcontrol for lvling combat. Or maybe even waste your time killing crabs or experiments... And you probably buy all your logs for firemaking and constrcution... Ever thought about the insane amount of nests and tree seeds that you are missing? Sjefderat, expert farmer master thief
  17. My only challenge that I ever got is a lesser demons challenge. And yes I got the challenge during a slayer task.
  18. If I go on with what I am doing these days (not sure if I want to) I could be 99 combat with 99 HP and if I went a lil further I could get 99 slayer at 99 combat. How about that?
  19. When I first started online gaming my bro and his friend had these online names: a mouse a rabbit So I used: a rat and my other bro decided to use: a squirrel My nephew: a beaver Some other online dudes, that we met, chose: a cat a dog After a while me and my brothers became part of a clan, we even got a "squadron" name: Animal assault I became quite good in some games and as a kind of a covert ops name I started using: The master of the sewers So now how to come to my rsn: The master = chief (in french this is chef) I am actually dutch but knew that if I take chef that most english speaker would think about cook so I took sjef which sounds like chef, and as a matter of fact means chief in Norwegian. So there it is: Sjef de rat = Chief the rat = (Master of the sewers) I also have noobish noob account: Sjefdemuis Sjef de muis = Chief the mouse
  20. Nice drops, keep up the good work. And yes teletabs do give the same mage exp...but to the one who makes the tab, not to the one who uses it.
  21. Hey Mad Cap congratulations on the achievement. Yeah kill those rabbieds (rabies carying rabbits). Best Belgian name together with bag of chips ever on runescape
  22. Firstly: BIG Applause =D> for this achievement Secondly: the goal that you set for others is too high :ohnoes: , this is mad  , very few people will be able to do better and even then you will always be the first to do this  Thirdly: Noone realises it yet but last time I checked you raised prayer with 20 levels to 95 prayer so now I am the best skiller under level 100 combat to the best of my knowledge (I am not nearly as good and will never be...) I agree with all others that we will most probably see you on the front page of the high scores at the end of this years' school vacation!
  23. The article is right on the money and at the same time very obscure to say certain things. 1. Skill cape hunters make prices lower: I agree: people who cook and who have/had money paid higher prices for raw food then ever before to get the cook skill cape which was very fast to get (Zezima and N0valyfe set the example in their race to 200 mill exp...) So the number of lower ranked players and autoers willing to provide rose dramatically. So now the rich cape hunter has its cape and the 100 or so people working "for" him are still fishing and selling...Obviously prices go down. Same for D bones, where is the time that they were 2.5k ea? Right, that hasn't happened since just after the skill capes came out... 2.Some other things except rares also go up in price, these are things that every "noob" wants and is not patient enough to get, best example: Robin and Rangers, but there are more. I did 100s of treasure trails and got 1 Robin and no rangers, so I bought 2 Rangers... I lost 1 pair to a troll general when I was even a bigger noob then today. Noone will play runescape for 2 years just to find a Robin somewhere and that is what it takes, about 6 months of treasure trails level 3 to get 1 (and I added 1.5 years to get to the necessary levels to get lots of level 3 clues). 3.All non stakers/pkers in runescape go up in level and bring new gp in. I have a solution for this: A new country in runescape were you can not trade and can only wear what you can make and/or found yourself. So no 85 smithing = no rune smelting = no rune to wear. Jagex could then make levels go higher in that place and make dragon items crafteable if you have enough smith and craft combined and maybe when your construction lets you build a high level workshop... When you have all the requirements, only then the monsters in there would be able to drop those items for you. So anyone who does not want to play the complete game will stay away from there or will be an incredible noob. Imagine a pker with 99 att and str with an iron scimmy because he is smith 15. Or even one with smith 66 would still have a mith scimmy. Or maybe this could be runescape the next generation???? Oh well, prices go down, but what do I care, I am one of those skillers who fish to get their cook up, and who cook to have food for thief and slayer...So I sell as little as possible. I have to admit that I sold several 1000 potions because I did not train melee yet, never have need for mage pots and my need for anti fire pots is less then the several 1000 lantadynes that I grew until this day  . I use all the avantoes that I can get for super energies which I all consume, same for dwarfweed that makes range pots ...consumed several 100s of those and I want more :-) 4. Some prices will never go down = all stuff that can be high alched for the value that they are going at, and that give the maximum of exp in making them. Mage logs are the best example, mage log + nature + bow string = 1576 gp, prices may shift from 1 to the next and sometimes impatient people will pay more, but these are all temporary phenomena who will eventually fade out. 5. There will always be merchanters... Because there will always people who do not care about a few mill gp. (I know some people who had 100+ whip drops before they went down to 5 mill ea.) When these people decide to get 99 smith from 60, then gold ore prices will go up after they try to get 250k gold ores ASAP. These same merchanters often become like the people they served, once they made several 100 mill of gp, they will also want levels and are willing to pay for them... As for my taste in rares? A friend of mine has enough for the both of us and when he tells me to invest in them I always ask him what the stats are. He has nothing (0) to say. \
  24. OK, OK The demon butler asks 6000 gp per load of 24 oaks = normal price Every 8 trips he asks another 10000 gp. So 8 times 6k = 48k + 10k = 58k so that is why I plan ahead and take multiples of 58k... If you go in with noted oak logs he has to make extra trips to bank... so take multiples of 68k and the cost per exp = 5.903 gp (about 78 mill to 99...) My method spends about 65 mill on training to 99 which is 13 mill more then walking towards sawmill and back and walking towards house and back. (ull reach ur 99 construction in less then 20 years  .) You spend another 13 mill on top of my methode to get to 99, with the noted logs method. If you do not cut your own logs you spend more money and you lose about 800 nests that would drop if you cut your own oaks... By the way: picking up planks at barbarian outpost spawn with smithing and mining your own nails, or mining soft clay or mining limestone can get you to 99 construction for almost absolutely free. The only problem is that you would be 99 years old to reach 99 (just a guess  :ohnoes: ).
