  1. Attack xp quests - http://kbase.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/ ... le_id=1771 Strength xp quests - http://kbase.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/ ... le_id=1772 As for how long they take. That'll depend on if you use a guide, have all the things for the quest, teleports, etc. but most quests don't take longer than an hour, if you're prepared when you start them.
  2. There is a forum for posting your links here
  3. Use seaweed on a range to make soda ash. Then take that with a bucket of sand to a furnace and use one of them on the furnace. You can get seaweed from Entrana and Picatoris fishing colony. Buckets of sand from using buckets on sand pits around the world, OR do the Hand in the Sand quest for 84(I think) buckets of sand each day from Bert as part of the reward.
  4. If you've done throne of miscellania and royal trouble, you can collect herbs that way also. But you won't get any guams or marrentils from it. So low level training won't work with it.
  5. Yea, at low levels, I think the only option is the gnome stronghold course.
  6. They stack, so you could stay there forever if you really wanted :)
  7. It's to allow other players to cast the benefit spells on you. Such as teleother, and the curing/healing spells from the lunar spell book.
  8. LOL no, I was answering Ganon95's question. I didn't even think about that when I put that in post.
  9. Ganon: a bit south west of the stronghold gate, near the Making History quest start is where i found him. The goblin cave just east of fish guild entrance, bring armor/wep for bouncer hellhound ghost from the quest.
  10. Same here, no idea where the fish-men gather
  11. I saw some cryptic thread on the official forums about this. Only posts from players, nothing from Jagex. This could be a prelude to the seers "visions" in the BTS for this month. Kind of an introduction to something next week?
  12. It's a bone sack, that I think you mean. It doesn't do anything except give a slight defense bonus. But, you have to complete the second extra part of Rag and Bone Man quest for that (or the ram's helm).
  13. When going for 99 (using dragon axe), if I didn't chat and browse forums (too much). I could get around 55-60k an hour. But like I said, that's concentrating solely on woodcutting. As soon as a tree dropped, move to another, bank as soon as I got my last log. On average though around 40k an hour, which is still the fastest xp per hour woodcutting. I think teaks would be better, if there was some way of dropping/depositing them faster. I tried them, and burned them as I got full. Got only 35k xp per hour from them.
  14. Well I used Draynor, but I was one of those "rich ppl" with a dragon axe :-w But other than there, I'd go with twr_phr33k's suggestion of Barbarian outpost. It seems fairly quiet there, and with the quick deposit box, might be faster than Seers. I'd say try them both out for a good bit of time and see which one is better for you.
  15. Along with Lunar's tips, here are a couple of player made guides from the forum here. haven't read them in any great detail, but general responses seem to be that they are pretty good. At the very least probably get a few extra tips out of them even if they aren't exactly what you need. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=536632 http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=526281
  16. Moved to General Help and Advice. Remember to post all questions in this forum. Jake Corsair
  17. Well, no quests are actually required for Dragon Slayer. You just need to have 32 quest points. I'm not sure about the points from f2p quests. but you can check the Knowledge Base on Runescape's main site (or even on Tip.It's quest list) for checking the rewards to avoid any that would give you xp that you don't want.
  18. Not really, you have to click each log along with tinderbox each time. With the willows (and maples) I have, I'll get to 97 just on making unstrung long bows.
  19. At 93, it took me around 2 1/2 - 3 weeks to get to 99 (willows in draynor, with dragon axe). And I played a lot during those weeks. One tip, try not to chat too much. Most times I could focus on training, but other times had friends stop by or met people there that I'd start chatting and slow up a bit.
  20. Depends on the kind of person you are. I thought firemaking when I got to 99 wcing. But after about 5 levels of constant clicking, I was done with it. :wall: If you're the type of person that can click repeatedly, then I say go for firemaking. But if you get bored easily, then it's gonna put you off getting that 99. I'd rather have the firemaking 99 (I think that emotes looks cooler), but I don't have the patience lol. Eventually, but not anytime soon.
  21. I don't think incentives really would help. All that would do would be to attract more pkers camping out those spots. What good is it to get 3 times the xp for a monster, when you probably will only get one kill before pkers get a chance to fight you. In the time tht you would go there, fight one monster, get pked (or escape) and re-equip yourself, you could have got the same amount of xp somewhere else. Basically you have two types of people in the wild. People that want to pk and those that don't. Increasing the incentive for those that don't, won't matter if they can't get the benefit from it.
  22. Just right click on the closest part of a bridge to you, there is an option to repair bridge.
  23. Now this was a good quest. The multi combat trolls were getting some good hits, had to tele out first time going to the troll king. Yea, without the "danger danger will robinson" warnings like they did for Contact, I think quiite a few more people are going to be surprised by this one.
  24. Seconded only by their "top notch" fan base for 1 person making a mistake (that was cleared up and corrected) and assuming it's company policy.
  25. no, It is a operating platform for computers. I do not see how you can get banned for that. That is like banning people for using macs. Reported. I can't beleive a Jagex employee doesn't know what Linux is. Why is it so hard to understand that a person working in their customer support area may not have extensive knowledge of computers. Go to a restaurant and ask your waiter or waitress something about how a particular item is cooked. Or a bank and ask a regular teller something about home loans. Sometimes you might get an answer without htem having to call or ask someone else. But most times, they won't know the specifics, because that's not a requirement for their position. Yes the person at Jagex jumped the gun without asking for an answer first. But IF linux had actually been an illegal program (ex. keylogger), then the time waiting to find out what they should do might have cost others their accounts. At which point, there would probably be rants about CS not responding fast enough and being "trained turtles" instead.
