Dang, nice work. I'm sorta curious about where Tip.iters stack up against each other in OSRS right now - I wonder if RuneHead does 07 stats for clan listings yet, it might be neat to make an OSRS Tip.It high scores similar to the main game Tip.it clan listing.

I start working July 7. Don't have new years resolutions really, but if I had to say something, I'd pick get annoyed at people less easily. Also, just did my second bouldering day and bought a semester pass. Make sure that you're the one hosting the NMZ, and that you've done a quest that requires the use of magic - like family crest or the lighthouse quest. Also, holy crap NMZ maging in it's current iteration is so stupidly OP it's crazy. AFK 150k magic xp/hr for free. Crazzzyyy good. If I ever get free time where I'm not doing homework, I'll add a short section on it, though in the meantime, just youtube "nightmare zone maging" and look for a result within the past month for how it's currently being done.

To the two of you thinking about Redmond - Microsoft hopefuls? Anyway, my goals are: 4.0 while I'm at CC. Really, I should be able to do this if I focus. Bare minimum 3.7. And climbing specific stuff: Comfortably/onsight lead 5.12 sport, boulder onsight V6. Hopefully I'll tick a V8 and a 5.12d this year as well, but I won't be too perturbed if I don't.

No promises this time though about updating the guide quite yet - though eventually I will, since this was one of the more popular NMZ guides a few months back according to google.

I didn't mention that they were a member due to the fact the had the email- more since they found my phone number and called me and mentioned my GWD drops, which I've only ever posted here. So there's that. Glad it happened with RS junk instead of irl bank info though.

It's a bit of a tale, but I did that, however so did whomever hacked me since they got my info via hacking my e-mail. So I'm a bit boned unless a JMod contacts me, since they can't tell if I'm the real owner or not.

Hey guys, quick warning for you all who post here: Remember how Tip.It got it's database hacked a while back? Well, I think whoever did it either gave the email's away or is now using them to hack into accounts - make sure you have a secure email preferably with 2-auth protection. I was hacked by someone I'm fairly certain at the very least browses this forum, probably using it, since they mentioned that they saw my good drops, which I've only ever posted here. I'm about to lose probably 100m or so from my e-mail getting hacked due to crappy security measures on it. Use me as an example. Secure your email, change your email to a more secure one if the one you have is weak. Thanks guys.

Yeah, black knight titan is the best 5th monster - there are a few accounts with it on it, though they're rare. I haven't played much lately since I kinda got annoyed at RS after dumb deaths. Eventually I'll come back and overhaul this.

Yup, MM closed... Maybe it'll pull a DI in the future though. Kinda sad to see MM in the pure cup rankings at the edgeville score board and know they're no more.

The community is the main reason why the game is less fun nowadays compared to before, IMO. Efficiency-Scape kinda killed my motivation to play what's now RS3 - it became the norm to play 6 hour days at 100% max efficiency with no room for "fun" activities. It's just a whole different vibe than the game had before. It's nice in that there's a lot of high level content and people to do it, but there's no longer a real "noob" class in the game anymore. Everyone and their dog is maxed/comped.

I'd say it's viable at pretty much any level, however you'd want to stick with normals instead of hard modes until probably around 60-70 att/str. I did some tests on using absorption potions instead of prayer potions, and at 76/77 all melees, I found that 3 four dose overloads, 1 gmaul, and the rest (96 doses I think) absorption pots works out best. It should cost somewhere around 112k NMZ points for that, and I was getting an average of around 175k points in return, which took about an hour to utilize. I wouldn't suggest doing absorptions until at least 70 defence though. XP/hr of absorptions appears to be about the same, around 75k melee xp/hr and 25k hp xp/hr at 77 att/str. This should make you profit assuming you buy herb boxes, since you should be able to buy ~6 herb boxes which'll average to at least 10k ea, which should cover barrows repairs, the 25k for the boost, and the 6k for getting in.

Depends what you mean by "worth it." Fire bolting metal dragons is the only remotely cost efficient way of training magic via non-ancients I can think of, but it's nice for the hp xp. Try it if you want, though it won't be technically "efficient," not that that should matter too much anyway.

I don't really have a "go-to," but gin+tequila+limeade+raspberry lemonade is delicious and responsible for the worst alcohol-related experience I've had yet, hah.

yay itam is back. btw a bunch of people on reddit are doing "ironman" which is basically diy but they all suck at it and you're da best.

It was via an afk melee account with no demon, 25k rounds. Also, I edited in black knight titan info into the previous posts. I have tried selling the 1x1 mage account, but few people have the quest reqs, and not a lot are interested in it. I advertise it sometimes on my other acc, and on forums, and sometimes I'll get pms where I can sell rounds for 50k. If I made a titan account, I could probably bump that to 75k with no loss in profitability.

Interesting, I'll do some practice rounds first and see how he reacts to spells. EDIT: Haven't tested black knight titan mage def yet, but I did do another hour of nmz boosting, made 539k profit in a relatively peak hour. I could see it making up to a mil during really amazing times, but I think the average will work out towards 300-400k. Tested the black knight titan mage def on hard mode - nothing crazy, it might be higher than some other monsters, but I still hit probably 4/5 times with my monk robes set up (+45 mage bonus).

So non-afking treus darth account I got like 5k more xp/hr, which is alright. However, it turns out black knight titan is 1x1, so time to make a new account with that set-up, which should probably be incredible xp, probably a solid 10k more/hr. So expect results on that soon-ish. And here's some data from 75 att/str with my prosylete set up with a whip on controlled and gmaul spec wep: 20k xp/hr in the two skills that gmaul wasn't set to, while the attack style gmaul was used for got 31k xp/hr. Should be ~71k xp/hr if only training one attack style. 24k hp xp/hr as well, which isn't too bad. I lasted ~3 hours @ 70 prayer with gmaul, eight 4 dose overloads, and the rest 4 dose ppots. I also tried hosting on a no-demon NMZ account, and I got an average of 200k gp/hr doing that, on a week night during non-peak times. Dunno how it is at peak times, we'll see. Eventually I'll update the main post once I finish all my testing and I'll add a hosting guide as well.
