I've read all the helps I can get on farming, and it just doesn't click for me. I've got to do it, though, if I want to fish monkfish. And Paw_Claw, please read the article on tippit home about bumping old threads. It is now recommended as long as you are making a positive contribution. :shock: :D

You said you wanted an idea on a good place to have a drop party. I've often thought a great place would be that area north of white wolf mountain above the ice caves rock-mining spot. Nobody is ever there but Bob the Jagex cat(and that girl cat?neighte?), and he'd probably love the company.

The best place, if you ask me, would be Ardougne coal and Iron mine. No quests required :-)

You'll need 2-4 super restores, too, just as an aside. The ice guy is annoying.

If you want to kill something after you're back, I highly recommend troll generals. They drop many nats, and the occasional granite shield. Of course, you need to do regicide first...(for d Hally) or bring p potions.

Plod, I just did it without a Player Blocker, and I am lower than you in every Combat skill. Just bring plenty of prayer potions for Damis. I hit him with a dds, at 62 att, 65 str, and wore full monk. I tried the cannon thing, with earth bolt mage, but It didn't work-I died (only 65 mag at the time :P) Fareed was a laugh, Dessous took quite a bit of food when I went after him with my dds (can you tell I love my dds? :-)) and prayed protect from melee wearing full rune. Kamil was the toughest, until I tried using super restores. With 4 super restores and chaos gloves, he was pretty easy. So anyway, you can definately do it. ~Good Luck!

My best would have to be the 3 granite shields I got from troll generals on my last slayer task :-)

How can you live without an ectophial??? On-Topic, though, you can use them to get to the island, too :-) Now there just needs to be something useful on the island... :roll:

You don't get it from the gnome in the dungeon, you get it from the guy next to Awowegei's hut. I don't remember his name, though... he's the seargent

Your pages have to be in a book, If you have a guthix book, you can get it back from the guy that gave it to you if you die.

If you're P2P, air elementals. If you're Ftp, dress up in your worst mage gear, get piles of bodys, and do curse on the mages below fally.

I just hit him with a dds, while melee praying. It worked pretty well. Wore monk robes, and brought lots of food. He was actually kinda easy. His range attack(bats) only hit like 5's on me(lvl 77). I also brought a granite shield. That might have helped(highest range defence shield in game, I think.) Also, his two attacks are melee and range, not mage and range. If I were to do it again, I'd mage him from behind a fence, while protect range praying. 8)

I remember my first pk attempt. I had my steel scimmy my brother had made for me, and I felt invincible. I had full leather armor, and an iron kite, and... I got owned. He brought food into the wilderness! Good times... :lol:

You must have the samples with you to talk with him. If you teleported since you got them, they are broken and you need to get more. You can't tele with any of this stuff, or it gets broken. Just talk to the girl you got them from to get more. A trick, though, you can store them in the bank, tele, and walk to Rimmington. That works.

Highly recommend fire elementals in seers. Wear ranger armor, and you'll be fine.

The Tippit Times, since it's beginning has been a voice for the lifeblood of Runescape-the players who love the essence of game. Normally that lifeblood is concerned with topics more in the direction of the Rares Market, or the latest updates. This time, however, there really was a turmoil going on about various player's bannings, and many people were jumping on their bandwagons, and saying exactly what the editor eventually said. In the Tippit portion of the Runescape community, that was the number one topic, and many were on the bandwagons, whether it were Droolman's with his daughter, or Scarlet Eve's with her entire family. The Editor picked up on this wave of sympathy, and the article came out. I believe Kiara Kat was correct using the statements about the "Canon's of Journalism" being "meant to make people think, incite discussion, and stimulate fair and informed debate" So why did this blow up? This is where my own opinions enter. In my opinion, this was not given fair and honest debate from its base threads. If you go back and look at any of these threads, anyone who presented an opinion counter to the recently banned high-level players was treated as one with absolutely no sensitivity, and was promptly flamed. There was a flaw here, it was at the base of the issue, and as such, the entire issue was flawed. When Tippit removed that post, they, in my opinion, acted very responsibly, and I am currently proud to be a part of Runescape, and of Tippit Forums.
