  1. There are plenty of other threads you can read instead, and I'm not telling people how to have fun or to have fun, I just felt like posting this because it's really starting to tick me off how many people are just so serious about this game. Now do me a favour and next time don't post unless you have something worthwhile saying. Thanks. Well first of all, you are an idiot. Let me make it clear: People take every game seriously, because its a game, and they have fun playing it. Yes you are telling people how to have fun, because apparently you don't seem to agree with how people enjoy runescape. It's pretty simple and obvious, you have fun by raising stats, competing with friends, and achieving the general goals of the game. If you don't like that idea, then instead of telling people to go your way, you should just stop playing. do you realize how ironic that statement is? I have a better one for you, use a minimum of three brain cells before pressing the "post new topic/reply" button.
  2. I think its just like any other 5 capes that have same shape but different color, and was made the way it is so it would look different from the other 49 capes. Oh wait, thats how it really is! #-o :wall:
  3. the requirements are what make quests more difficult, and they keep the noobs off the cape :P and also, ancient magic is very powerful, why should anyone be able to get it in a matter of a few days? you're going to have to work a bit harder if you want something like that.
  4. Well I'm just thinking...why the hell did you make this thread? To teach us all to have fun instead of playing? We all know that playing runescape is supposed to be fun, and it is, and thats why we play it. Why else do you think we get 99 stats? Seriously, what the hell were you thinking when you made this thread and started telling us how to have fun? and that we shouldn't play runescape (aka achieve the goal of the game)? Do me a favor and just shut up =; For the first time in a while, I feel somewhat offended.
  5. yep, someone was just so bored that they decided to write 700+ pages in the exact style of jk rowling. Well I read parts of it and I must tell you that it had a lot of style errors. Hargid's speaking style was different, it was full of Harry/Ginny romance etc... But it must've taken long time anyway :o So, someone typed up a book, printed it with chapters, formatting, hard back cover, and everything else to look exactly like the book? You sir, are an idiot. I think you are just extremely ignorant, and pretty narrow minded. Anyway, the release is a few days off, and if all is going to go according to plan, I will be getting it at around 7 am :-k we can discuss more then.
  6. that father is a failure as a father, wtf is he doing talking to reporters when he is supposed to be cutting off his sons internet!???

On this map you will find where exactly items in world 2 Falador are being sold. Going to the areas marked will always guarantee you multiple people selling the item specified. So the next time you need something on w2, take this map with you :)

i don't see marriage as anything important, or something that would mean a lot to me. Marriage is just signing some legal documents and having a big party, if you love someone, then you love them, you don't need to have some [developmentally delayed] preacher preach, tell you you can kiss your bride, then sign a few documents, and just eat a crap load of food. In my opinion marriage is there for legal reasons, or maybe also so that some people would recognize you as a couple.
  9. Seeing people like you post if you think it's pointless. it is and that is not an opinion, its a fact. I thought there was no rollback after the fally massacre? :-k i just made that up and im pretty sure there was a roll back there was no rollback
  10. so who are you to say they are bad!? you haven't even tried any of them! i actually think the past 2 or 3 months have been better than ever, and the mining update was good too, it may not be useful, but neither is runescape. oh and btw, the mining animation hasn't slowed mining down.
  11. there we go, now you can bug me about writing something else.
  12. there are plenty of programs that can crack codes like that in about an hour or less. he could've used that. what the hell are you talking about? do you even know what this thread is about? he never said he found something nobody else has, in fact, if you had any idea what hes talking about, its a part of the quest. Most people wont care and just read the message from someone else who has already cracked it, but he decided to have some fun and do it him self. how about you try and find out what people are talking about before you tell them they are somehow wrong. nice job doing that anyway, must have took some time.
  13. Well you know religion :| but even I am surprised about this, never knew churches, other than extremists, were still so assertive to this day.
  14. in Canada the student card only gives you discounts on tickets :( But anyway, what would be far more useful and efficient was if all students god free public transportation and discounts on necessary supplies.
  15. I'm against pulling out, in fact, I have no idea what the politicians are thinking when they try to pull the troops out. Have you seen the situation in London? How is pulling out of Iraq going to help other than just moving the war to London or New York?
  16. its funny how people no longer even bother to avoid flame wars when it comes to religion :P Anyway, to me, hoping for miracles is a total waste of time. you might as well lie down on some train tracks in front of an oncoming train and hope that you magically get teleported out of the way. If you want something to happen, then you act, and maybe a miracle caused by yourself will occur.
  17. I should hand the McDonalds people an old (really old) quarter and tell them it is a new dollar. if its that old then it must be worth far more than a dollar fro its collectors value.
  18. most of those examples were minor, anyway, you should have read the list more carefully because you missed some thing you mentioned yourself, such as the range in lumby, which actually has a lower burn rate than any standard range, thus its found useful by many people. Anyway, strangely you chose the most insignificant points. Anway, the only thing edgeville is good for is pking and firemaking, anything else? what this means is that nobody other than the people already there have any reason to come. i dont think i need to show my point about canifis anymore: a very useless town. and if you say lumby is always packed, why dont you come down to w99 lumby yourself right now and point those 100 lvl 50s out yourself?
  19. read it again then.
  20. I think fally is much more usefull then lumbridge, Unless you are fletching or filling stuff with water. Fally has much better and many more firemaking spots, Closer furnace, A general store, White knights caslte (training), A spinning wheel, 2 Banks, Mining guild, Dwarven Mines, Oak trees, Yew trees to the south, A tree patch, Herb/allotment/flower patch to the south, Cows to the south (cow hides), The crafting guild (not toooo far away), Fally has a nice park for hanging out in or alching even playing little games, Realter guy, Starting location of many quests, Its not very crowded, Its got a fountain not far from the east bank, Air Altar, Many gaurds which you can kill for clues, A house portal thats a little ways away, And I'm sure theres Many more things. maybe you should read the list i made before you make a reply?
  21. um still awaiting suggestions for a possible better town. The fally one was ok, but lumby is far more useful. we first need to make one location work before we even think about another.
  22. since when was lumby loaded with people? im in world 99 lumby at this moment and there are about 15 people in the whole town. Also, canifis is very un useful, it lacks basic features such as a water source or range, the only thing its really good for is barrows and slayer. In reply to ca2theone: There is a nearby range to the east. Much better in lumby Mining Guild, hundreds of coal, also, adamantite, mithril and clay nearby sadly very few p2pers mine at all or smith. Furnace near if unable to access such places as Port Phasmatys or cannot i guess thats good, but then again. lumbys 1 click bank is excelent for super heating, which you should know is many times faster than a furnace if you are interested in the mage xp. get to TzHaar with ease.um, how? TWO Tree patches nearby.one is rather far but alright An Allotment & Herb patch to the south.if you find that one useful than maybe Water supply to the east.lumbys water supply is many times closer You can get 4 people firemaking at the same time in a line.cant argue with that one Estate Agent.not very useful. considering you wouldnt just randomly decide to go to one, you usually do when you are constructiong a house, and at that time you would not be near fally anyway. Near a teleport.so is lumby, 2 teleports in fact, one being free of charge. Also, dont forget that lumbridge also has a teleother, which requires an astounding 8 lvls lower magic than fally teleother. Fast access to merchanting if necessary (Quick Hop to W2).then you will be leaving the guild, and even if you do manage to make it to wold 2, a simple teleport makes no difference. Easy access to cheap coal and iron supplies (Quick Hop to W1).see above 3/4 yews trees spread to the south.i suppose if you use those Air altar (If you really wish Laughing). try world 66. its true that fally has things lumby doesnt, but lumby still wins in most of the vital features (such as range, water source, bank, teleports, ect)
  23. um no... unless i missed something.
  24. looking forward to that
  25. I did both, I would say I own.
