  3. awaiting peoples interest
  4. i doubt its the ai doing it, most likely the person controlling the ai noticed it was stuck in an event and went around it himself.
  5. Overview Considering tipit's rather active community, I thought it would be about time to make a player-made guild for all tipiters to gather at, closer than just the same server. before you read any further though, please understand what a player made guild is (surprisingly large number of you probably don't know): A player made guild is a specific set location in a specific world where a large group of people perform the same task together. A well known player made guild would be world 132 Yanille, which is the player made fletching guild. The advantages of being amongst people performing the same task is first of all: the market. When a lot of people train the same skill in one place, then the material suppliers are all attracted to there to sell their supplies. If you have ever been to world 132 Yanille you would have noticed not only the large amount of fletchers, but also all of the people buying/selling logs, strings, and bows, which is exactly what fletchers need. Another reason for player made guilds (pmgs?) is the fact that you can train a skills with people that share your interests. Simply put, you do it for the sake of community. The idea This would be somewhat of a general guild, placed in a location that is good for training in many skills. If tipiters start using this guild, it will not only make tif a more enjoyable community, but it will also create a second Seers Village specially for world 99. The location for this tipit "PMG" is Lumbridge world 99, and here's why: the following is a list of things Lumbridge is potentially useful for, if you are interested in training the skill you are on with your fellow tipiters, look through the list and find what you would consider useful. -Two banks -A range that has less chance of burning than any other standard range -Very good water supply in basement -Home teleport -Very close-to-bank spinning wheel upstairs -1 click bank in basement -Good place for fletching, herblore, crafting, superheat, ect...(using 1 click bank) -A place to alch -Tree patch in the back -Canoe station (for green drags, pking at edge, ect...) -Barrows and axe repair -Willow and oak trees -Excelent food shop in basement -A decent place to firemake (second and top floors/in the court yard on either end of the castle) -Nearby Windmill (with wheat, and cabbage for the OCC :P) -Swamp tar respawns to the south -Decent place to powerfish -Good silver mine in Dorgeshuun mines -Several skill cape sellers -Uncrowded, yet not completely empty -No newbies, a good amount of high lvls are here constantly. -Church for prayer restoration -Good place for beginner thieves (Men/Women) -Good place to get lvl 1 clues (see above or HAM hideout) -Quickest access to swamp cave from basement (for tears of guth, slayer and more) -Agility shortcut to alkhadrid bank to the south -Dragonfire shield from the Duke -Knife respawn in the kitchen -Rats for cat training -Many quest start points -Many essential item spawns -Multiple decent powerming (iron) spots in the Dorgeshuun mines -Quick access to Dorgeskaan (if no teleport spheres) So if you find any of those things useful, then come over world 99 lumby and do it with the other tipiters.

I find it a very good idea to do so, as long as everybody is not forced to be chipped. The number of crimes this could prevent, and the children it could save from abduction is unpredictable, im completely for it as long as it is not overdone. I have chosen to ignore your ignorant post
  7. both calculators and the community.
  8. i found out about them when I was 9 XD so are you saying they work in runescape now?
  9. how about we do something useful and make a real player made tipit guild on world 99? How does canifis sound? better yet, lumby basement? Or just lumby in general?
  10. And where did you get that information? I highly doubt that each year Jagex employees sit around a table and Andrew says something like 'Ok guys, this year we will release 10 graphics updates, 4 new minigames and a new skill' or something similiar. I personally also doubt we're going to see any new skills over the next year and a half and I doubt Jagex is working on one right now. It's something called research and development, certain employees are assigned to do specific tasks. Thats like saying microsoft is not always thinking up a new windows; thats absolutely false. jagex actually said it themselves several times that they are always working on at least one skill at all times. No they dont sit around the table and decide how many of each update they need to make, how does that even correlate? What the do is think of a skill and work on it for two years.
  11. people who ask me to walk through quests with them, usually people Ive known for less than a week. Honestly, I have better things to do than to hold everybody's hand!!

heres something to scare you, also explains china's population: http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/china/2007-07/10/content_5422982.htm
  13. AND? It should be OR. If they were easier to kill, more people would go there because they would get more kills per trip. If they had better drops, people would get more cash per kill. easier is the opposite of what we want, we want him to be stronger, but get better drops.
  14. I second that, especially considering the short time between the two items being released. Lately jagex has begun to release items of the same type very suddenly, for example, the granite plate and helm, and now the visage and dfh.
  15. Your math there is wrong. If exp doubles ever 4 levels, that would mean it would look like this: 99 -- getting 99 once 106 -- getting 99 twice 113 -- getting 99 three times 120 -- getting 99 four times You said , when really you would need lvl 120 to do that. And if they made the max 120, what logs would you cut after lvl 99? What would you fletch after lvl 99? What would double laws do to law prices? What would you fish? What would you cook? Mine? Smith? Ect. my math is fine, i never said it doubles every four lvls. and finding new items to make lvls afterward isn't difficult, if you need to at all. Also, laws wouldn't really be hurt, considering the lvl they need. Also look at nats for example, there are constantly more and more crafters being able to make double, yet the market is still very strong.
  16. when I started playing, nobody was even close, I remember later shortly after runescape 2 was released, the race was between choppermad and zezima, everyone else was far behind, yet neither of them were any close to having max total, that was also when there wasn't a single person with 99 prayer. The solution to this is a skill, or a few skills that are very difficult to raise, or better yet, make all skills harder, because for as long as runescape existed, skills have been doing nothing but getting much easier. Another one would be lvling stats past 99, to about lvl 120. remember that xp required to lvl doubles every seven lvls, so getting from 99-106 is just like getting lvl 1-99, and getting lvl 115 would be like getting 99 four times over, now try maxing out farming. Well that won't stop anything, but it will at least slow it down alot, especially if you can raise stats up to lvl 115, the people who just recently got lvl 2277 will have to re do it another three times.
  17. well here are my thoughts: what is so good about that? and you can really just stick around the opular places then, such as catherby, fally, ardougnde seers, there are just as many of them in p2p as members. this one really surprised me, from playing on my newb account i can tell that random spamming is at least 4x more common on f2p, then in places like catherby beach, how did you come to this conclusion? i dont really understand how you got to this point, the goal of f2p and p2p is exactly the same, except in f2p you have a lot of people calling anyone at least one lvl below them a noob. well thats what I think.
  18. no you cant, what made you think you can? spam does not make a thread active. your thread is not the problem, the problem is the way you made at least 20 spam posts in it. well yes it does raise your post count. no, common sense would tell you that is spam How would "I didn't know that" contribute to discussion.
  19. Some of the comments there made very little sense, ginger warrior had a lot of it right. Since when was history about battle axes and scimitars? and 5th grade math is usually the highest level you will ever use in runescape, so that really doesn't help. The only thing you mentioned that I can agree with is about the typing. Runescape teaches us a lot of things, but nothing except the typing is mentioned in the article. I am pretty disappointed in the quality of this one.
  20. nice job filling your own thread with spam posts titin, and how many times have you double posted by now? In case you havent realized, on tipit forums, spam is not welcome. You don't have to reply to what every single person says with "I didn't know that", because nobody cares about what you did and did not know. Also, learn to use the edit button.
  21. To both the people who can't read even if their lives depend on it -.- Anyone who once again repeats that King Black Dragon is the King of only Black Dragons will be a Jester and will be force to do idiotic forms of dancing! While me and the rest of people can laugh! I disagree, for one. The only reason the KBD is (was) considered the master of all dragons is because black dragons tended to be the strongest type of non-metal dragons. Thus, a "king" of such a species would logically be far stronger than any other dragon, even the extremely powerful steel dragons. do you know what a master is? you don't need to be stronger than someone to be their master. A master is someone who personally leads the person they are a master of, or owns them (literally). that really makes no sense. Also, considering anchient pages describe their origins, we can assume the entire mithril dragon race is older than the KBD, the order of the updates has nothing to do with it. a lot of people solo several kbds at a time, im not sure hwo is stronger tho. nobody is considering this, cam down. Thats a dumb comment, no offense though. Its runescape; magic and the lot occur by the truckload. In fact, i think the ONLY REASON the mithril dragon is level-wise stronger than the KBD is because it is an experiment-creation of some sort. Who knows? They mite have been brutal greens before whatever the barbarians did to them. what is your point by that comment? mirthril dragons are artificial, possibly like robots, the KBD is natural, and hes the kind of all natural dragons. It's not dumb, it's a fact. But really, your reply to that quote made no sense, I don't understand what you are trying to prove with that.
  22. my expectations of myself are pretty high, so i guess i would say when I had two lvl 90+ stats, and began getting a lot of "wow you are a high lvl" or "wow you are rich" that has been mentioned so many times on this thread that what you said could pretty much be considered spam.
  23. You know you are a bad thread maker when: you rely on other people to start the discussion on your own thread.

I was born Christian, then I realized all religion is a bunch of bs, so now i don't have one, aka I'm atheist.
  25. It doesn't matte how you interpret the title, according to runescape he's the king of all dragons. and when we say he has lost his crown, we mean that he has become a very insignificant monster in the game, even though he is supposed to be one of 5 super bosses (if you count the DKs as one)
