Best money making method in ftp is mining rune ore, difficult but you can make upwards of 500k per hour doing it. Other than that i think you'll be puching it to even make 150k+ per hour in ftp unless you merchant..

Superheat steel bars/mith/addy depending on how you feel about profit. If you want fast magic xp and smith xp on the side you could even superheat iron bars, which is better than a furnace as its alway 100% successful. If you want to make profit, but slow xp you could smelt bars, steel and upwards. And if you want fast xp but spend a lot of money in the process you should buy iron bars and smith them into steel plates, fast but expensive.

Powermineing iron ore is the quickest method, thats how im gonna get 85 ftp. I myself mined gold ore in the crafting guild 62-70 mining, using cabbage port to bank, i needed some cash, and although it took a while i made a few mils. :thumbsup:

I dont think you can really say bluerose13x or tks were the most famous players 5 years ago, even by then, they had both pretty much retired. Whilst they were more well known, they still still weren't as famous as zezima who was also number 1 then.

I heard larryr quit after the real world updates were put in place. She! spent most of her profits on hiring runners for 100k an hour, so after the RWT updates she couldnt do it anymore and quit.

I sounds like the permissions are wrong. I really couldnt say what they should be, so i would suggest double checking the installation instructions, reinstalling, googling, or ask on some scripting forums. Hope you resolve it. :thumbsup:

Got my first target (and new bh kill) after about 10mins. He was a no itemer with me only risking 1 valuable item =p, got a 100k+ drop. GF jagex :thumbsup:

I think this answers it. I completely agree with that. It took forever for me to get to level 58 mining before i quit. Then when i finally came back, mining (and a lot of other skills) were pretty much automated. Mining was easier in RSC than it is now... In fact, it's one of the few (maybe only) skills that was easier (based on using the same methods now as then e.g. Powermining iron), since when you mined a rock and your inventroy was full, you'd mine the rock, and the ore would drop to the ground. Not necessarily. As of now, you have to click the rock once until you obtain an ore, but before you had to keep clicking til you finally obtained the ore. Another example is firemaking. Back then there was only one type of log, so it took a ages to increase your firemaking level. I agree with you, but also in classsic, you only had to drop the log to light it.
