Daily Journal - [25/06/07] Thhhbt, another day and I haven't really Barrowsed that much. I have an entire French speaking script to memorise, and my evening is kinda cut short as I have Scouts later. Homework is waaaay more important, though, so I am not exactly disappointed so I don't get a few more runs in. Not much else to write, just over 60k experience from 85 Magic and teleblock. Whoop de doo, not gunna be much use to me; I never go into the wilderness with intent to kill anyways. :P Level Ups: 0 Significant News/Drops None

I killed a few KBDs when I was bored, got nothing. I also drained a 5/10 Crystal bow on Black Dragons. I can't have killed over 30 monsters all together, I wasn't expecting even a D med so I'm not disappointed.

Daily Journal - [24/06/07] Well, as most of you know I was in Wales this weekend. It was my cousins 40th birthday party, which was a good laugh. The euphoria was enhanced even more when we got news of my uncles successful operation, the applause in the hall was thundering when we heard the doctor was certain all the cancer is gone. This is a huge relief to everyone, it has been difficult for him to get an operation and to hear he is finally on the mend is brilliant. He only has one lung now, though. I did a few trips, got nothing but to be honest I feel like catching up on Doctor Who. :uhh: Level Ups: 0 Significant News/Drops: None

Daily Journal - [23/06/07] Today I managed to finish draining the 5/10 Crystal Bow, on Black Dragons! :shock: No decent drops, but I got some bones and hides which are always useful. I did one Barrows run, but now I have to be going. I am going to Wales for the weekend, not sure if I will get much more done when I return on Sunday. I still have all my homework to do. Yeah, it is pretty annoying but I got a nice chunk of experience whilst in there. I know how to effectively kill 90s and 360s at the same time now. 8-) I am draining my Crystal Bow at Black Dragons enar Zanaris, the chances of me getting a decent drop is low but hey I might get surprised. Better than luring Dust Devils all around the place. :uhh: I have until around 10:30 - 11:00am my time to play. Then I am off to Wales for the weekend. :-s

Daily Journal - [22/06/07] I have had quite a good day today, considering I was pretty bummed that I failed at Jad yesterday. I have drained all but 5/10 of my Crystal Bow charges, so if I somehow muster up 360k I can give the Fight Caves another go. I killed Dust Devils, got some hefty ranged experience but no chain unfortunately. I mooched around 99 Edgeville for a bit tonight, always a great laugh. Level Ups: 0 Significant News/Drops: None

Gah, you can have the remainder of my small fishing patience. I caught like 150 monkfish and gave up. :uhh: Keep going Shey, with all the support we can give you will have another three 99s in no time at all!

This guide is extremely helpful, I got to Jad on my first attempt with no mess ups. Still had four saradomin brews and six super restores, but unfortunately he spawned in the middle and I got hit for 76 and then 25. Just need to get 360k for bow recharges and I'm good to go for another attempt... Great guide.

Good luck with 99 Fishing Lee, I might pop up to the colony every now and again to catch a few monks. If you are there I will be sure to say hi! :D

I think the fire cape deserves to be known as a difficult cape to get, I did my first serious attempt last night and made it all the way up to Jad. Now, at my level it was still quite tricky. Luring the 90s/360s away from each other was quite tricky, even before the big kahuna himself I had used two sara brews thanks to mess-ups on my part. Unfortunately, Jad spawned in the middle instantly. Even at a high(er) level it can be difficult to get, just because it takes less time than a 99 to get doesn't mean it is any easier.

Thanks for your support guys, but I don't want another attempt for a while just yet. There are two main reasons for this, the first being that I don't have enough cash to recharge my bows at the moment and the second being that I want to do some more skilling. Rest assured, I have two more attempts banked with my potions. I will give it another go, just not too soon. :) Going to do some fishing, I think it is something like 9k monkfish until my goal level of 80. :D

:evil: I was doing extremely well, I messed up once or twice when it came to killing 90s and 360s at the same time, but I had four brews left and five and a bit super restores when it came to Jad. I knew I was screwed when the 'here comes Jad' banner got instantly knocked away by his attack, he ad spawned in the middle. Nightmare! I got his for 76, ran up to him and switched just in time. Then my character decided to stay stationary, so I switched to the different prayer and hoped for the best. Bang, 25. I don't think I will attempt to do it again straight away, as I will need to drain both my C Bows and recharge them. Plus, I don't have enough money. Good fight Jad. :XD:

I haven't been Hunting this morning, I might not even do it when I get back from school. I am aiming to try for a Firecape this Friday, with the possibility of an early Saturday attempt before we go to Wales. I'm watching Muggis videos, lets hope it pays off. :anxious:

What would the difference in experience be like, say, with training with a Rune X-Bow with steel bolts and a MSB with steel arrows? :-k
