Reread the OP - it's not $.30 - it's 30 British pence / $0.95 USD - so your percentages are way off. That's really a 19% increase. So if you end up paying $5.95 for a year ($71.40), they will cut you a break and roll back to $5 a month ($60 a year). I wish Jagex would find a way to sell a year at a time to debit card holders rather than $5 x 12 as month-to-month. You'd think the cheaper processing charges would make them want to do that. And to the horse's [wagon] who spammed the topic with a 100K irrelevant picture - please do not pollute the gene pool. Well, either way an extra dollar a year won't break the bank.

Everyone else posts updates, so what is wrong with this topic? It isn't a game update, and we knew it was coming so it isn't exactly a surprise. And there isn't much discussion value either. Of course there is room for discussion about the price changes, players can discuss whether or not they think it is a fair increase. Whether or not they think it is worth the increase. If a Tip.it Mod finds this topic non-discussable they may close it, I'll leave it up to them to decide. As for the Article itself, I am glad to be paying the $5.00 dollar membership fee still and hope I don't get canceled anytime soon. I also think it's kind of Jagex to have the "loyalty" option, for players who pay the new price for 1 year to be allowed again to pay the old membership fee. How can we discuss $.30 as a "fair" increase? That is minimal, barely over 5% I think. (American value is $5 a month?). The price of everything here in the UK has risen pretty much, so Jagex can raise their prices.

Wrestling might be your passion but you don't need to try to advertise it as the greatest thing since sliced bread in every single post, because it isn't. I'm sorry I'm not trying to start an arguement but the point of this thread was to discuss who/what you think would be the new classics or reference of today's time in the future. Alot of people are huge Elvis Presley fans back then, I'm sure many stated that he was the best and I don't think it is wrong of them to state that he would be the reference of today's time in rock and roll. Likewise, I personally think that the way things are going, in the future when one mentions wrestling, one would immediately think of the name John Cena. Hulk Hogan was the "man" of wrestling in the 1980's and I feel that Cena is the "man" of wrestling in the 2004's, is there anything wrong about me voicing my opinion about the topic? On the bright side, I'm glad that you read my post. Yeah, I should apologise really, there is nothing wrong with your post that was pretty douchey of me. If you think about the way Hulk Hogan revolutionised wrestling, he was maybe one of the first flagship wrestlers and pushed WWF into the popularity it has today. Sure, JC has great charisma and a good popularity record but wrestlers like him come and go quite a lot. I think it takes something really special for someone to be remembered like Hogan, so Cena would have to keep his popularity as high as it is now for years to come to become a legend like Hogan. I haven't watched wrestling in like a year though so it isn't my place to predict things like that.
