I agree. Yes, I am happy that they at least have stats and that they have an emote, but I feel that that isn't enough. I personally think they should give a passive bonus to whatever skill the cape is of, in addition to their current stats, kinda like a crystal saw. It would have to be a bit different for the skills where 100+ doesn't matter (like con or fm), but still. EDIT: And a cape that requires melee stats yet a level 40 can get with the right guides shouldn't be better then a cape that requires hundreds of hours of work and (in some cases), tons of cash.

Do I wish that rs2 was never created? Depends...would they have eventually added bloodvelds to classic? :P Also, to all the people worshipping classic's community, it wasn't really that good. Better then rs2, yes, but it still had its share of scammers and kiddies.

I have never been pked there, but I have died twice from pkers getting me low and monsters finishing me off. Then again, I have made over 20k nats there, so it's to be expected that I would have died at least once. :P

I still stick to the "prayer level 64 for protect from magic, 67 for protect from range, and 70 for protect from melee" idea. Throw in some fluff prayers in the middle and call it a day. I just think it's odd that something gotten at level 43 of a skill would be enough to beat something hundreds of levels above your combat level. (Jad.) Oh, and hunter needs an update. Bad. Spottier cape has both a stupid name (:P) and the equivalents of addy boots IMO. (Addy boots = semi good drop from a slayer monster, a decent part of the slayer skill but hardly the best) Maybe the ability to set bear traps on the field that you could lure monsters into to deal extra damage? (I personally think they should also have a con req to give con an ability out of your house.)

I really mean no offense by this, but these topics have hit rock bottom. On, and to be on topic, I feel happy when I gain a level.

WoW has a ton of "end game" armor, which is armor that can only be used at the max level and specialize in different things. For example, there could be a set of armor for the priest class which specializes in increases to healing, while another set which specializes in reducing the casting time of healing spells instead. I think this would really work in terms of runescape. Think, for example, a set of armor which makes 2h weapons swing faster (thus giving some use to d2h and such), a set of armor which increases your attack by an amount determined by your woodcutting level when you wield an axe, ect. These set effects would work just like the barrows set effects and would easily bring use to weapons which are unused because of rs2's major flaw in weapon design. (Instead of strength of weapons being inversely proportional to their speed, faster weapons are only slightly weaker and thus always much better choices. Weapon strength should be based on the weapon's dps [damage per second], and not just on your overall bonus gained from your armor and weapon.)

So essentially if you were to play rs only for a minute you could have a runescape type of a dream? :-s We all knew some moron was going to say something like that. I've had a dream about RuneScape before, although I no longer remember it. Here's another moron who will say it. That made me wake up and when I did awake, I was really hungry for a cantalope. :-s

You know what gets me annoyed? I'm just walking around my tower, and I see some poor level 70 in red d hide and a d long. He runs up to me and attacks, hitting with quite sad, low numbers. I decide that this guy could really use some blood runes, so I pretend to die and give him some. Then he has the nerve to call me a "noob" just because he "pwnz0rz3d" me! The nerve! I've been walking these halls since before he could even hold a bronze long, let alone that piece of junk. lol u know u was wrong. u have bad 'grammer' In all seriousness though, he was just showing some common courtesy.
