Great! Now lets start screwing their brains by speaking and phrasing in proper grammer, by spelling correctly, by not using 1337 or any other letter substitute and most importantly, by using an array of bombastic words.

It helps when someone called O0O0O0O00O scams you...

Maybe you should take up some programming courses. The official forums are not Java coded and therefore, it'll take a long and complicated detour for the message,"someone replied to your thread" to get to the Java game servers and to your screen.

Some pictures would be good... though I have no idea how, or where, you can get any =D -
I still see many Yew cutters in F2P these days. With so many customers (and a large income), i don't see why they can't just employ some people solely dedicated to the task of banning autoers...

A purple Phat to match the cooking cape i'm getting i suppose... Maybe even full dragon if i have enough left over. -
You're right, F2P does get a lot of discriminative remarks these days... However, you can't blame ALL of the P2P you know. It's just what they see that gives them this perception. In a F2P world, there are a lot more botting going on than in a P2P world. Majority of scams are committed in F2P worlds and more auto talkers reside in W1 and 3 than in W2 and 6. Did I mention that more beggars are found in F2P worlds? You cannot blame anyone because you're playing in a community which houses players from all walks of life. The F2P community houses a lot more scammers, beggars, bots and other indecent characters than the whole P2P population put together. Think of yourself walking down a dirty, littered-filled street. A street full of muggers, beggars, gamblers, alcoholics, drug abusers etc. What will you think of that particular part of the town? Now, if someone tells you that some of the people in that dirt-filled street are involved in 90% of the crime committed, how will you feel? Would you feel any better if i tell you that the street houses some decent people? No! You cannot blame them for discriminating or passing rude remarks about F2P. Some people may be prejudiced, pitting themselves against the F2P population whenever possible, but others, i can assure, are kind towards F2P. You cannot push the blame on all the P2P just like we cannot say all F2P are losers. Learn to accept who you are. If you choose not to pay to play, then you'll have to suffer the outcome of your decision be it good or bad. If, however, you decide that you no longer want to suffer discrimination, no longer can stand the oppression, then i suggest you pay to be a member or quit and find a game that meets your requirements. Cheers!

Honestly, i doubt it is real. It doesn't even look real.

Is much more likely to succeed rather than: Also, there are hardcoded rules that the Appeal-O-Bot sometimes applies. Such as, if it's the very first offensive language blackmark you have, it will usually automatically approve your appeal. Makes you think about just how much Jagex cares about their loyal customers, eh? Meh, it's morally wrong. Can you imagine an automated court case where the machine messes up and a serial killer/rapist gets off free? Okay, perhaps I shouldn't be comparing Rule 1 to mass killing, but oh well. btw I love the poster! I didn't know that you've gotta have your reproductive organs removed if you're to be a christian... Nice poster though. You might want to paste it all over RS.
-
Very drastic indeed. If, like you suggested, Jagex made a 'RS depression', then I very much doubt there'd be any macros left. However, what use is bots when everything is so cheap? When 99s are so easily earned? Sorry but i don't think this is a great idea. Nice. Imagine that happening in the flax fields...

Have the autoer/gold farmer bannings helped or hurt you?
drapit replied to Aneron's topic in General Discussion
This 'mass ban' or 'bot wipe out' is quite helpful. It makes players gather raw materials themselves instead of buying them. Rich people now find themselves in quite a sticky situation since they're so used to buying things for 99 fletch, 99 cooking... -
When Jagex moved on to RS2, rares from RSC were kept dumbwit -.- peeps were allowed to bring their RSC accounts to RS2... Gosh, go study your history before commenting...
-
I don't think so I do. Its easy for autoers to create accounts. Who dont you think so? Cus it seems like Jagex is trying to proove that they can clean there game, and they will be determined to ban autoers when they see em, just like they have done They will be back, its not like this will end them forever, but I agree that this is the first step towards ending autoers. They WILL be back, that's definite. However, they'll be back in fewer, much fewer numbers.

How many Rares do you think are left/in circulation now?

Santas are extremely common. I have it, and a dozen or so of my friends have it. -
Great interview. I'm wondering if he'll get swarmed like Zez when he logs in...

It is a very creative idea but- for lack of a better word- pretty stupid. Why use a Xbox 360 controller to play a graphically inclined, non-dynamic Java game? I'd rather spend the time playing Halo, blasting out aliens on my console than connect my controller for the sake of this game. However, it's a nice guide. Two thumbs up.
-
All there is to say. iRange Precisely. It would be flooded with a bunch of six year old asking for free membership, free santas, free party hats...
-
If that's the case, then you're simply implying that you're paying $5 a month for capes. Funnily enough, you have NOTHING, NOTHING at all in the highscores that suggest you qualify for ANY of the skill capes. In other words, you have not any skill that is ranked 99. Maybe being rich gives one the authority to take things from the poor... I agree. Money is what makes the world go round. Who cares about the african infant who die of hunger? Who bothers about those who die because they couldn't afford a doctor? After all, what is the earth but a house of greed?

How jagex should have selected player mods.
drapit replied to 123Yourgone's topic in General Discussion
there's a lot more to it than that, and iot's stuff they don't even tell people they selected as mods. to be honest, the only people who should be criticizing the system are the people who know every detail of it, which are the jagex mods in charge of selecting them... I dont have to see the system to know its flawed when i see lvl 36s with white crown, people muted for no reason and p mods threatening to mute when you give away there merchanting tactic.. hacked mods, levels over maturity, and the FEW bad mods. as for the last one, in the end the mod was demodded. you're judging most of the modding community on the actions of a few... the real world equivalent of that is racism. you don't support that , do you? a bit extreme, but it gets the point across... Lets not get on the subject of rascism, my government supports it. The subject is player mods, and the fact that there is that few bad seeds is worrying enough, its not hard to pick people who arnt going to mess up, the problem is, jagex doesnt know any of the people they make mods, if mods were chosen by people who actually play the game, then you would have less chance of some random noob becoming one. i'd personally trust the people who created the game over random people who might pick their friends regardless of how good they might do at the job. a famous player is not exactly a mod-worthy player. if anything, being famous AND a mod makes you a hacking target the size of a city. Which famous player do you know of dosen't have a good antivirus? Which famous player is going to download virus embedded in third party software? I don't agree to the friend recommendation p modding system though. If, in any case, Jag really implements this, pmods are going to be more popular than the number 1 ranker in RS. -
