I used to do every clue I got, but the rewards have gotten so much worse recently that I just leave them sitting in my bank until a day when I get bored.

Interesting article but I disagree with a few things - raising the HP cap, and the uselessness of ranged. The dark bow can do something like 96 damage in one "round" of combat, which is higher than any other weapon in the game. Dragonfire bolts hit in the same area of the armadyl godsword, and the special can be used more often (I should say it random occurs more often, but whatever). Although it's true armor such as bandos and barrows are substantial obstacles for PKing rangers, meleers can't pk in those due to the need to protect their whip/godsword. Rune crossbows are cheap, allowing rangers to use 1 expensive armor item. In regard to hitpoints. Most people don't realize that with the current level/experience system (gaining 7 levels every time you double your exp), 200,000,000 exp in a skill would put it at level 126. To put things in perspective, 200,000,000 cooking experience takes near 1000 hours. Level 199 in a skill would require over 2,048,00,000,000 exp. That's twice the experience Zezima and Kingduffy have acquired in all the time they've been playing runescape. It simply isn't happening unless jagex eases the exponential growth of experience required after 99 - which I see no impetus for them to do.

Well I think having godswords and other nice things is much more conductive to happiness than not having said things. :-k The reason people "buy" 99s isn't to be cool, it's because they don't want to spend time gathering tens of thousands of resources for each 99, when they could simply could go monster hunting or runecrafting, saving lots of time and avoiding lots of boredom. The fact of the matter is that this is just a game, and people should be able to get their sharks however they want to. :|

I've decided to finish up level 85 (by a coincidence I have it banked almost exactly :P), at which point I will be able to afford 99 prayer! From there I'll see... I'm kind of wanting a sgs at the moment :P Went duo tribriding with chris a bit yesterday too Rex is the only one with worthwhile drops now lol, I may solo mage him a bit sometime.

just get the bat and snail in place and do it like you did before the key is to remember that all you have to do is get the bat to the left of the snail anywhere, or the snail above the bat (not a typo, when you slide them into place they will switch places), and you can just move them into position. This also applies to all the other pets.

o ty <3 Went PKing with some friends yesterday, we had a good 15 people or so... we hung out in barbarian village killing anyone who happened to come along :P we wandered down to falador in search of a better enemy, and eventually one found us lol. We were all standing in the same square and a clan of barragers found us D: worst lag ever, I managed to tele but the majority of us died haha. The lesson is that I will probably solo pk now \

it's like back when runecrafters complained about being attacked while they runecrafted in the wilderness lol anyone in an area where you can be attacked by players must learn to accept that you can attacked by players in such an area

I'd point out how bad your setup is but we know each other too well to tell you anyways, take more ponies and less brews and no antipoisons and more restores and use the cure on the pony and use claws of guthix and good luck :)

felt a bit emo so I slayed instead of rcing lol. fail. got a level i was close to for awhile at least

it's the worst one lol, the hilt is like 4m more than bandos but all the other drops are like 1m each... bandos is 11m 7m and 1m and the other hilts just completely own zamorak, not to mention ss is 7m and armadyl pieces are still several m's each the fact of the matter is you can get the same number of kills soloing bandos off task as zamorak on task and bandos is more profitable :P
