  1. I've only seen one other person in a full world so far lol. Not many people have done the quest... so far.
  2. If I didn't use stat boosting potions I could probably get 8+/trip, but since I do I repot every other demon and run out of pots after about 6 demons because of the stat drain. The extra speed is worth it in my opinion since banking doesn't take very long. I may start taking 2 sets of stat boosters if I can cut down on the damage I take a bit more.
  3. Thanks lol. I did a slayer task today, then decided I want some money. Since Jagex has finally given something massive to questers, I decided to take advantage of my early finish and headed off to tormented demons. No drops yet but I've got 3 more days to try. :P
  4. HAVE YOU TRIED "JUMP-ACROSS BROKEN BRIDGE?" Good lord. I had no problem getting the helm and I was one of the first people to finish.
  5. Thanks Abe, and good luck. L@U Gremmy. Did it guideless. Was 3k from 91 slayer beforehand btw lol.

selling something worth 40m with 15m worth of junk is not the same thing as selling it for 55m I think runescape is getting tired of constant price manipulation - I don't expect many people to buy in... it won't be going up for long
  7. 666 and 2/3 + driveways tbh, there must be another way! D:
  8. You are useless. Unicorns heal 21 hp/minute for an expense that, as I have said many times previously, is negligible. They last longer than bunyips. They provide enough healing to stay basically anywhere except high-damage GWDs as long as you have pouches. Each dose of potion restores 15 special move points, meaning you can pay 1k (the price of a potion) to get 42 hitpoints worth of healing. Not to mention the generous natural regeneration of points. Guthans slows you down considerably, and no food heals 42 hitpoints/space. You don't seem to have read the first post either. SUMMONING POTIONS RESTORE SPECIAL MOVE ENERGY ALLOWING YOU TO USE SCROLLS MORE FREQUENTLY. The potions restore 15 points each, meaning 4 doses gives you enough to cast the special 3 times - but you don't need to sip very frequently because of the natural regeneration. You can use guthans if you want but it is unreliable and slows you down because the spear sucks. The saradomin godsword is useful but it heals about as much hp/minute as a bunyip... it's nice but not enough if you are doing something where you take a lot of damage. Just because you don't use the unicorn everywhere it is useful does not mean it is useless. The restoration is 15. 4 doses (a cost of 1k) will give you 3 specials (a cost of 750 gp), creating a cost of 583 per scroll IF SPECIAL MOVE DID NOT RECHARGE ON ITS OWN. However, it does so the cost is much less (at mithril dragons I use about a dose of summoning potion every 7 minutes, meaning I need to drink a dose of potion for about one in every 11 specials). This means in reality each scroll costs about 275 gp to use at mithril dragons. However, mithril dragons are a much higher damage area than most places. On an average slayer task, no summoning potions are needed whatsoever. Anyone who says guthans is better than a unicorn is saying that something that is slow and unreliable and not usable in many situations is superior to something that takes no effort or time to use and can be used basically anywhere. The "too expensive" argument is completely invalid as well. In a summer of camping godwars dungeon and slayer I used about 5k scrolls, for a grand cost of less than 800k. I made hundreds of millions. I could make that 800k in less than 2 hours of runecrafting astrals (someone with 44 runecrafting could make it in under 4 hours doing nature runes) and it definitely saved me many many more hours than that.
  9. what are you talking about *wrist spasm* 5.4/13m, go go go!
  10. I don't know what you mean by expensive, crafting nature runes at level 44 runecrafting gives money for about 1k scrolls in 1 hour... an hour of continuously casting healing aura will use 90 of those scrolls (plus 1 pouch, worth 10 scrolls). I do not consider it expensive at all, especially since there are plenty better ways of making money than 44 runecrafting natures. I don't know what you mean by slow either, since the unicorn heals 21 hitpoints/minute compared to the bunyip's 8 - that seems much faster to me. If you mean the lack of instant-gratification healing, I don't think the 1 second delay between the clicking of the special move button and the activation of the scroll would ever be significant unless you are taking damage ridiculously quickly (in which case even eating wouldn't help you) or if you are foolish enough to let your hitpoints get incredibly low. The unicorn has the advantage that you can do other things while being healed. If you mean that it takes time to get everything set up (drink a dose of summoning potion if you are low in special move points) then I will remind you that no one in the right mind uses a unicorn for healing while pking. The purpose is to be able to stay in 1 place for a very long time, which is certainly much more possible with a unicorn than with a bunyip and monkfish. This method provides fast enough healing at the god wars dungeon, so I can't imagine that anyone would ever encounter problems with the speed. As for unreliable... I have no idea what you mean. :P The only uncertain aspect of the healing is that you never know exactly when the bar is going to go up, but that should only be a problem if you are regularly emptying your special move bar, in which case you should be taking summoning potions which eliminate it as a problem.
  11. assuming you don't wait for the dying animations, you will have to run back to pick up each individual item... picking up a raw shark and a crimson takes twice as long as just picking up a crimson (although admittedly it definitely doesn't take very long) the spell itself is quite slow though, and you can't do anything else while casting it
  12. Do YOU have 88 Summoning? I do, and I know how useless the unircorn is in most situations. Yes, it can be helpful for bosses and such, but when it comes to most situations, the bunyip is still much better. Also, the scrolls cost about 270 gp each and the pouch itself costs about 2,700 gp...so it's not like it's just 1k per dose of potion. Don't try to make something into something it's not. ok so if they give 15 then 4 dose is 1.1k which is 60 points which is 3 scrolls which is 800 to 1.9k for 42 hp and 2 sharks is 40 hp for 2 sharks but this is all in 1 inv space so its 2x as much food in 1 inv for the same price, it takes about 10 seconds to gain that 42 hp but it doesnt delay attack speed as much as eating some food would so if your constantly fighting waterfiends for example this might be better than food Id rather take a bunyip and use its scrolls to eat raw food they drop. Have fun picking up all that raw food and painstakingly casting the slow swallow whole scroll on each and every one, compared to the delayless drinking of potions and casting of healing aura. Waterfiends are 100% non-prayable with a unicorn. Back before I had one I used a bunyip and I definitely could not no-pray them, but it could be because my stats weren't very good lol. I agree that the unicorn isn't the godly creature many people assume it is, but I also disagree with the people who are saying it sucks. It provides a guarantee that you will NEVER run out of hitpoints almost anywhere in the game, which the bunyip does not have. It also lasts 10 minutes longer (which I often find myself needing to take advantage of), and to anyone who's spent the investment to get 88+ summoning the marginally higher cost of pouches and scrolls is negligible.
  13. I'd rather use the small window with the settings on max than resizable on safe mode :P
  14. This sounds like a bad idea. We don't actually need this. Anyone who wants armour that reduces damage clearly doesn't understand the mechanics of runescape combat. ALL armour reduces damage. When in combat from a defensive view point your defensive level dtermines whether u take the hit or dodge it (thus receiving a 0) After this its a matter of their strength/mage/range level and the relivant attack bonus (stab, slash, crush mage range) versus your defence bonuses. If they have 80 str and can do say 30 max hit with slash but only have +30 slash attack while you have +100 slash defence it calculates to that incoming hit having a -70 slash on it resulting in you taking less damage. Actually you don't understand it - by your logic, armor should lower max hit. Yet, wearing very high level armor I've taken monster's full max hits (and monsters have very low attack bonuses). Armor adds onto your defence in determining whether or not an attack hits... nothing affects how much damage an attack that has landed will do except the strength bonuses of the attacking player, and the divine/elysian shields.
  15. the satisfaction of doing a quest that might actually have a good storyline \
  16. it's cool, but unfortunately HD is useless at sara godwars - you lose the ability to change visible levels to "current" meaning you can't tilt the camera angle down to see where zilyana is resizable also lags more than small or fullscreen hd, so I can't really use it - I generally stick with small, or low detail if I'm doing something that requires very fast clicking
  17. I made adamant arrowtips to 75 and then adamant arrowheads, and thanks to albal and abe. Was about 30k xp from this for a few months so I thought it would be a nice easy level :< no u simon was considering 90 fletching because 88 is bothering me but I don't have much money atm lol, so I'm going to resume my slaying which is nice and profitable plus I may finally get 99 summoning D:
  18. Thanks Mylez, I know where almost everything is tbh. :P and thanks wouter too, I actually think 99 firemaking is still my biggest party ever :XD: I'll try for 99 summoning L
  19. I'd say there's a pretty clear resemblance wilderness castle is an interesting combination of both wasn't it theorized that the fist of guthix is where the stone originally was before guthix put it in juna's cave?

Melee is outclassed by barrows gloves in every situation unless you own a godsword, in which case it is superior. As has been stated, range is noticably superior to armadyl armor though :P
