  8. My daytime firewall blocks the RS site, so I can't see that kind of data :( Too many clicks :| Hi-alch is gonna take about 167k clicks. Hope this helps I'd estimate it would be about twice that :P. However, you can use mouse buttons, which makes it considerably either. @nul, I believe the ideal outfit would be: earth/water staff (can't remember which rune curse uses 3 of :-X ) rune large rune body rune legs rune kite d hide vambs
  9. Either skatedog isn't up yet, or he's slacking off \
  10. Stop being gud :( gl with the barrows, it's awesome fun + money I once saw a 99 ranged guy there. He had a dharok chest, and he just drank a range pot and a p pot, and completely owned him with his rune crossbow  You need to become the next maxed tank now that muggi got banned :boohoo:  By the way, what method did you use for 99 ranged?
  11. That depends on what you mean when you say "effective" If you mean "cost effective" then do Failed Curses If you mean "time effective" then do Fally teleport or Hi-Alch If you mean "loot effective" then Nuke lesser demons If you mean "get money back effective" then do Hi-Alch I was referring to cost/time efficiency. Well that works great provided that you have a lot of d-hide bodies. Getting that many bodies will slow down your magic. I'll make my friends buy them for me No Failed Cursing is 1.5 times as effective for the same cost. From your own numbers, it looks like you have magic level 81. 2400 Strikes an hour seems a bit high to me. You will not get 26 per cast. Fire Strike gives you FireStrikeExp = 11.5 + HitDone*2 with a max value of 8 for HitDone. that means that your expected hit is more like 4 with an expected Exp ~= 19 So to go from 81 to 99 using FireStrikes would take about 571k casts :-X, a friend said the base exp was 19.5, and I didn't bother to double check. In regard the time, I was assuming 2 fire strikes in the time it takes to do one alchemy, which is obviously off. By the way, clicking on a person's "RSN" below their post count links you to their hiscores  . Failed Cursing always gives 29 exp per cast. So, going from 81 to 99 would take about 374k casts. Too many clicks :| That depends on available cash, your bank inventory, if you want HP exp as you cast, if you want auto-casting, etc. Also, don't downplay Failed Cursing yet. It is a very cost effective way to raise magic. Finally, get a membership. Members have so many better ways to train. Hope this helps I have 31M, but I really don't want to spend that much :| . I was only even considering fire strike based on my massively over-optimistic results, which leaves curse and alching. I know alching is ~ 2 gp/xp, and curse is... about 4 gp/3xp. However, it's more than twice as slow. I guess that puts me at alching. I'm a part-time member, and looking for something to do in my f2p time :P Thanks for the informative post. :)
  12. I can see from your sig vold :P I suppose I'm red too :-w
  13. If I were to train magic in f2p, what would the most effective way to go about it be? I was thinking of alching d hide bodies. I'm already a fairly experienced alcher, and have plenty of information about this method. However, one of my friends suggested using fire strike - although this struck me as a bit funny, I did some math and calculated I'd need roughly 411k fire strikes for 99 magic, based on the assumption that I can do 2.4k strikes/hour, and get 26 xp (3.5 damage on average) per cast. If anyone could tell me whether these estimates are off, it would be appreciated. Or, if there is another method I have overlooked (besides higher level attack spells, and curse training), it would be appreciated also. Thanks.
  14. I misspelled last :XD: :ohnoes: \ Gratz
  15. @Danq, I don't think running would work terribly well, as you'd have to give the runner all the runes you get which = time consuming. If you're rcing for xp alone, this is your new best friend. Personally, I'll stick with running through the abyss hundreds of times and making noticeable profit.
  16. Omg wb wakkaaaaaa!!! Good luck with 99 cooking, I predict it won't take long even with your time halved. PS I win to 99 firemaking
  17. That's pititful :XD: Jking *reassures self no one at school knows I play* :uhh: :ohnoes: I had no idea people could sink so low...

I'm 6 feet tall and weigh under 120 pounds. So maybe a little on the skinny side. Naturally, most people would prefer to be skinny. A lot of folks find obesity to be a turn-off. However, in the long run it's better to be overweight (to an extent) than underweight - old people with virtually no body fat have no chance of surviving a disease.
  19. I'm not sure if this helps, but it is completely legal to use mousekeys (a function that all windows computers have, IDK about linux/apple). Go to control panel, accessibility options, mouse, use mousekeys. You can now move the mouse using the keypad, and click is the "5" key. It's really the only way that people alch. I assume that it's legal, but since it registers exactly the same as a normal click, that doesn't matter. It isn't unfair in any manner, except to people who don't have knowledge of it.
