  1. Hmmm..Isn't it wonderful that you're now probably more confused then before? I anycase, listen to me! ;) I've actually tried them all :P Oh, and if you demand norton I suppose I'll mention there's a six month trial in the google pack. And, I'll make sure to mention there's a neverending trial for AVG if you're using it for non-commercial reasons.
  2. Is it denying you right? That can be a problem with your rights on the computrer (administer or limited) Is it just not reacting quickly? Any more detail plx0?
  3. Windows firewall is NOT a substantial firewall. Sunbelt Keiro or Zonealarm is the way to go. It's some people's foolish faults. at only the *very beginning* will the firewall ask you many questions. Once you set it up, like letting your browser automatically connect to the Internet, and various programs like AVG to get updates, then you will not have trouble until something nasty (like an infection) tries calling home.
  4. If it's Dell I'm pretty sure they have really difficult openings.
  5. Cruiser knows just what he says. Norton, has always (except when it was the ONLY av) been crap. Mcafee was alright for a while. Very smart too, early introduction of non-active progs to get people to buy them. Stinger and such, saved me alot. They've more recently (last couple years) been crap. I'd recommend...just what Cruiser recommended... :? Edit: One altercation. The free version of Zonealarm is somewhat weak. Evidently you have the money to pay for something, so i suggest if you wish to get the Zonealarm Firewall (29.99 9.99 yearly suscription- consider getting the free version for now until holiday promos start sprouting up) or the Zonealarm Suite (69.99) although the suite isn't worth it unless you really don't care for the money.
  6. Ignore the 'I downloaded it and got spyware' He didnt download it from a good source, or maybe, he could have tried downloading a cracked version off a torrent. Or even, he already had to spyware. In anycase downloading it off download.com is perfectly safe.
  7. Very interesting indeed. I was under the impression only one of the 1.5+ could read +4gig. Or perhaps 2.71 SP could run it :/ I'd like to hear more about this 40gig harddrive on the back :s
  8. I don't see why that makes me someone to be ignored. I can't be neccesarily sure if all motherboards support ATI. afterall. Not all do. Or, at the very least, they don't all support Crossfire. I didnt look down the lane too deeply for motherboards because i found the perfect one for me quite quickly. Nicely, it supported ATI and Nvidia, although only SLI not crossfire :(. I wasn't useing crossfire anyhow.
  9. Tis your money, and granted i havnt looked over the motherboard if it supports ATI (you can check that if you're interested :P) but ATI is better in this range meh. [i'd say all ranges but then nvidia gAnStAs gunna shoot me)
  10. And by 40gig you mean a 4gig overpriced Datel bulky drive that is stupid to buy considering it costs more then two 2gigs of pro duo And by 'having 95' you mean, a shell that looks like 95. and by 'having no life hax9ng all the time' you mean : Moved downloaded eboot file across a usb cable onto a folder in the psp. Or used an easy [Caution: ExecutableFile] installer... ....
  11. Almost as unlikely as these thread being real...
  12. To be honest I don't like your card. Try looking at benchmarks at tomshardware.com (It's not working atm for me :s) but I'm next to positibe an ATI card would be much better for your price. Especially if you can get the Ati X1900XT 256mb
  13. Edit Ok, seasonic S12: 430W = 95 500W = 120 (Wha? Went up lol- I guess that shows their demand is high, proof lol :) 550W 'energy plus' (no idea what that means :/) = 130 650W = 160
  14. Thankyou for us prices :-) A quick search on newegg gives me these prices. Granted, you aren't getting tech support, a system warrenty (but they have very good warrenty) *and newegg wouln't be an option they're US only so you'd need a comparable AUD site* (Shipping not included) AM2 4200 -182 250G HDD -79 19" Proview FV929w wide screen -399 (is that wrong? That sounds like a horrible price...it's only 19 inch. A benq has 2ms and is 189 Linky Floppy drive - 5.99 Asus 16X DVD writer - 27 1200W 2.1 Channel spekaer - No where near detail..>Sorry...Brand please? Model please? GB KB + MS - Eh? XP Home -89 (Vista coupon twoo ^_^) 256M 7900GS 159 after 20 dollar rebate 2G DDR2 Ram - 205 (what the bloody hell! Mine cost me 254 after rebate and was only bought on Oct.4!!! Thermaltake 600W Power Supply 129 (I can't remember where, but i heard thermaltake have terrible PSUs. I'd recommend my lovely Seasonic S12. Mine was 115 in 500w. I'm not sure if they have a 600w, you can go check, but In anycase i think 500w would easily cover your system)
  15. I'm not sure what service pack your OS was on, but, here's how if it was Service Pack Two: Start>Control Panel>Security Center> Check for latest updates(...) I sort of didnt understand your questio <.< but I hope this helps :) If it doesn't more detail please?
  16. Nice, however i was wondering how idle workers pay out? Do they cost money? If not, and if the money just goes to the other workers, i may simply put 10 workers on flax and 5 on idele whereas previously they were 'making' coal (and spending Flaxers' money)
  17. Nice Guide, but, Do people actually purchase these? I'd be interested (very much so) making a few hundred, am i likely to find a buyer at those prices or is that only in teensy amounts?
  18. I don't know the conversion, or how prices are in Aussie Land, but generally accepted for the US is newegg on prices... If AUD is anything close to the dollar it seems high though. 260 for the GS? Edit: Nvm at newegg it's 206 dollars, so that doesn't seem bad. I was under the impession though it was quite wrose then the ATI X1900XT 256mb which happens also to be around 210 dollars.
  19. Ooh, ok, (btw maybe change your title to mod please lock) Crusier, thanks, i feel a little silly  but a tad more knowleadable :
  20. Aye but for the same price a desktop would be wayyy better and have longer life (upgradeability)
  21. You did ask nicely though...:D...here's the copy paste of the pointas you need. the points needed section, the order is telekinetic, alchemist, enchantment, graveyard. 23. Oh, not at all, just the concept lol it'll be terribly hard to play. :s is it possible to resize java screeens?
