It is a Jagex Staff member. There are a few more like him under level 3 also. (level 1 and level 2) The reason why they weren't talking and the P Mods were there is because they were talking to them thru private messages. On another topic... there were never any level 1 people in classic. End of class for today :)

I think this was very well written, and unfortunately I agree with it. Isn't it ironic that this game is hardly what would be termed as a "G" rating either? The young all need to be pked who play this game. Line up! (haha) I miss the days of long ago... *dreams of 2001

Actually, I think you have wonderful skills =D> Keep up the great work and like you said, it's all about the friends and not the skills. This skills will come to anyone who plays the game, but the friendships are the best reason to play :wink:

Only 5 skills? :) Ok....then I pick: 99 Mining - My first 99 skill done in classic 99 Woodcut - I thought this was way too easy to hit 99 Mage - I hit this at a much lower level, was fun then 99 Firemaking - Cause the cape is pretty.... haha 99 Fishing - Cause I hate this skill and wanted it over with :)

The problem that player mods have is that some players automatically think they should immediately drop everything they are doing so someone can complain about how a friend of theirs was scammed, or how they lost 20 million gps by being scammed, or even that someone tried to over charge them an hour earlier... Players forget that player mods are Players first. They are not there to handle hacking issues. Jagex handles that. They are not there to handle scam issues, UNLESS they see it happen. They are not going to report someone for charging a little more gps than someone else. Player mods do not get paid to monitor the game. They play they game. As they are playing, if they see something happen, then they can report. 99 percent of all player mods are good people. The 1 percent are dealt with by Jagex. Imagine how bad things would get if we didn't have player mods again. I shutter at the thought.

and I'm sure you have read the rules and understand that it is illegal to say you are a mod on forums..... right? If not, try reading them for a change. I believe that is only the case for Runescape official forums, not a fansite forum. Don't confuse yourself here. Actually you are confused. Any website pertains. When they are removed as being one, you can let them cry on your shoulder. This thread would have been illegal on Tip before... things sure have changed huh? Also, in case you must know, there were NO actual crown wearing P Mods until 2004 shortly after the release of RS2. There were some "unofficial" P Mods who had no real powers except to contact a J Mod before that time. (and most of them were relatively close to the Gowers) That's a fact.

I think it is all a plot anyways. They added a new skill back last month and still haven't told people about it! Instead... they try and sway everyone to do those old rottem skills instead of the new one.. which they havent even told anyone about yet! For those of you who are killing cows, I salute you! Your Cow Killing levels will be significantly higher than everyone elses... once they add it to the highscores! My nurse wants me to go back to bed now. Zzzzzzzz :-$

I had a long discussion with some of my Jagex Mod friends and this is the real scoop.... They are Planning a new real world intervention program to fly from house to house to stop these weirdos from leveling to 200 million in each skill. They are going to start off with breaking down the front door to their house. (Let's all hope the used their real address with them or this could turn tragic) Once through the front doors, a team of highly trained specialists will knock the power off and put on night goggles. (granted it will be daytime, but the effect should be dramatic) From the front door into the room where the agonizing screams are coming from. (Since they lost power to their computer and cannot get on RS) The nomads will be treated to a hot bath and shave to remove years and years of facial hair. (and hair we dare not mention.... to protect innocent children) They will be gently added back into society once they have completed several important counseling progams such as, "Twelve Steps" and "Weight Watchers". A shock collar will be the last important step to ensure a long lasting understanding of staying off of RS. This program has been approved for other uses also. I just hope Jagex isn't too late for my friends. *Sniff

Pffft, Mining is easy... (If you hit 99 about 3 years ago) I think those people who forget that runecrafting can be raised fast simply by joining one of those goofy companies and then you have tons of help to raise it, so I disagree with that skill being the hardest. I'm gonna say Slayer or Summoning. (Opps not out yet ;) )

This is a great way to keep people looking at these forums... *misses the Admins who didn't want people to stop looking at Tip...
