The good ol days... just remember NO ONE played in 2000. The game started in January 2001. I was there for the all the drops. I started in May 2001. Back before there was rune and adam was the new armor :) Before there was a wilderness and there was no safe place. Muhahahaha Alot of good friends back then. Most have quit long ago now. (Some by being banned :S) When I first mined rune I was level 59 combat and Zar used to save me the walk back to the bank from the wilderness ;) I kept low enough in combat for a while though and he kept going until I could just stand there and mine away. hehe (He couldn't mine rune) I would have Arris make me 2 handers to sell. He was the 3rd to 99 smith ever.

Certainly, you are too old. This game was made for youger players under the age of 200. Oh..You are under 200... You are certainly never too old to play a game. I'm so old that I use my cane to type in letters sometimes. Even my wife plays games by hiding my dentures on me. (AKA, throws them in the garbage... runs them over with the car... wears them herself) Seriously, I'm not that old! However, you are young enough to be my kid... Prays it isn't true... I guess the extra experience would have come in handy, a long time ago... However, this outfit could significantly hamper any chance of finding love in Runescape. You might have a better chance with yodeling and wearing leaderhosen. Begins to yodel....

Kinda tough when you have 10 99 skills, but I went in order of the first 5 skills I did to 99. 99 Mining - Hit it in June 2004 99 Fletch - Easy skill 99 Mage - Took forever but I liked it 99 Woodcut - Easy skill 99 Strength - I hated training it so hit it as fast as possible.

Yes, Congrats with 90 Mining. It's alot harder to hit that now compared to when I hit it back in 2003 ;)

I had to laugh at this statement... Jagex OWNS the game and people suddenly think we have a democracy going. We don't! You either do it their way or play another game! That's the entire reason for RULES. :roll:

I used maples and yew to hit 99 FM. Willows will take a long long time. Good luck though :anxious:

Wonder what ever happened to the old high scores which showed to (+1) (-1) high scores changes? I was there. No wilderness. No runite. Back when you would look at a level 70 like they were a deity. That is old school.

Your sigs are amazing. I really like how you make them so individualized. Any chance I can get one? If so, I'm looking for a black background with my 99 skills faded in around the outside edges in different colors (with 99 written with each). I also want my name in a dull white in the middle where it also fades into the blackness. Thanks alot :)

The Jagex staff have been working non stop to ensure the new skill is ready for implementation as soon as possible. Testing has already been started and continues through this very moment. The new skill will involve alot of harvesting, banking, and then ultimately donating those materials to me. Yes, the new skill is Dontate to Mr Tiddles. So get those party hats dusted off and lets all get to level 99 as soon as possible! No clue on the new skill.

I have more than they do. Granted it is all junk and not worth anything... :-#

Piece of cake :wink: I mined and banked over 272,000 iron ore when I went to 99 mining. I'm sure you can do it, plus anyone from Wisconsin has a scientific larger brain than anyone else! :P Good luck :lol:

Good luck, mining was my first 99 skill and I almost always were that skill cape. (Hit it back in June 2004)

I mined... with my pickaxe, back when they all were only "pickaxes". (No types like rune, adam, mith...etc) I used to mine alot of rune with that same pickaxe ;)

skill capes cost 99 K, rares... too much. I like skill capes.

My idols = everyone who plays the game to have fun Soooo everyone on my friends list and a ton more I can't add due to number restrictions. If you feel like playing Runescape is a chore, you need to settle back and have more fun. :thumbsup:
