It's a pretty interesting how pity-swallowing the arguments are against Prop 19 (California proposition to legalize marijuana). Was reading the official voting information guide, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving's the primary opposer. They say if weed was legal, more people would drive high and kill children, blah blah blah. What about the mothers who's children were shot by gangsters fighting over the stuff? The Poor Mothers Against Gang Violence?

But it wasn't a tax, it was a fee. By business terms and politic terms, they are two completely different things. As others of said, why couldn't they increase their property tax to cover the fire fee?

While it feels good to have just watched (stories for me are visual :razz:) I then feel sorta depressed on why my life can't be like that. Life in the suburbs totally sucks when you're young and driveless and don't have a mom eagerly waiting to take you places...because at this age it's just quite embarrassing.

I would be considered I have no life, but if I have the power to change that I would. Most of the time none of us hang out because we're busy, lack of transportation, or some of their mothers won't let them (they're over 18 mind you :wall:). I suppose when I can drive and get a job, I'll encourage them to come out more since I'll give them a ride and couple help for some monetary problems (mostly lunch).

I thought so too, but apparently because they don't live in any official city boundaries, instead of having the county firemen, they use the nearest city firemen. Since they're not 'supposed' to exit the city, they have to charge a fee. I think it's disgusting how a World Power can't protect from fire.

Lol wut Australia isn't entirely a rural wilderness. Melbourne and Sydney are some of the biggest cities and lions and man-eating spiders certainly don't live there.
