  1. And probably watched Hollywood techno-horror films where a school kid hacks and starts World War 3, turns an innocent person into an outlaw, or murders somebody thru the internet with the rising media coverage over identity theft makes them scared of the internet. They must of had new technologies their parents were unreasonably scared of, and their parents must of had technologies their parents were unreasonably scared of: like the auto-mobile, phones, television, weed, or disco clubs.

Even at 300 EACH sounds like a good price, from what I understand of the Australian dollar. Houses around here are hella cheap, like 700-900 monthly for home ownership. Shame you need near perfect credit now though.
  3. Well they got a good mentality to avoid getting their identity stolen from the bank idea, but Facebook? Some parents make me wonder how the [bleep] they ever were young.
  4. Why is this game still 60 bucks? I want to buy it so bad but not at 60...it's been out for almost a year now, it should be at most 40, so when a steam sale hits its 25ish bucks.

Pure specialization costs. Every lens is different, thus, are "custom built" to every customer: a excuse to boost the price. Buying non-specialized glasses from Wal-Mart which fixes many part-time glasses wearers' eyesight problems, like no more than 20 dollars.
  6. I've avoided the poly/mono debate for a while now since it's fruitless to argue when every case is different. But I do want to say, to everyone, if people have a hard time already dealing with emotions, jelousy, and drama with mono relationships lasting anywhere from a week to a lifetime, I can't see people handling poly relationships very well neither. Not to say one or the other is impossible, but keep in mind everybody humans are a very ... dumb species when it comes to handling emotions. Which is to say, I do admire Muggi's stress/teaching to handle your emotions, but I cant see poly relationships any more meaningful than single partners.

Thanks to AP classes, I didn't have to take any more Math, English, or Science classes when I got to college. Absolutely worth doing well in them, IMO. Yeah, I regret not doing any...especially history, that would of been piss easy for me.

Well they could be both guy friends. Or maybe it wasn't a concern and Tyler just told us what happened Today.
  9. Damn, sorry you had to experience that situation all those years ago, Riku. stop right there Please listen to him.
  10. And that's the same thing as being assertive. We can all agree, even though we think we're on different sides, demanding an answer is the right thing to do. Whether or not Noxx stays or leaves after a refusal is completely up to him. I think we're forgetting the nude bed incident here, if that wasn't a missed opportunity it's one hell of a straight answer from her - no matter how logical we want her to behave.
  11. Aye. I click on your video to watch a tutorial not crappy teenage agst songs. Worse is their resolution is messed up, causing me to see nothing but a blurry screen recording.

Ay, I'll probably go to sleep that late too. I am pretty motivated right now in sending out resumes/applications for jobs right now.
  13. Felt like RPG Weekend up in here. Undusted my Oblivion, Fable, and Dragon Age Origins these past few days. Oh, and I'm downloading Floris' Mod Pack for Mount&Blade: Warband. Looks like a brand new game.
  14. I have to agree with Muggi on this one. If the other person does not behave like a reasonable adult and discuss the issues, how are TIF'ers excepted to change anything? Sure it sucks to realize they're not going to change and it seems harsh to call it quits, but a good skill to have is know when to bail and cut down on your losses (as we do look at relationships like an "investment"). If the couple can sit down and talk about problems then go ahead try your best to solve them. But if one (or both) remains silent and tries to quietly wish it away or something, it's never going to change. So if you stay you're just going to spent most of your time tolerating their attitudes (passive aggressiveness is a big one I see), which relationships shouldn't be about.

Today I saw something that made me do the Jackie Chan meme face. A guy was blasting rap music in his car but he was wearing earbuds. :?

Post-secondary education (in the States) is very inefficient for it's importantce: it's too good to pass up but you'll save a lot of money, time, and stress by not going. The whole concept of general education is just a repeat of High School and not to mention, private schools are borderline scammy. I'm attending community college right now and see a lot of it's faults. Without the FAFSA (government grants for students) I wouldn't be going.
  17. I love that list to use it as an example of the average voter's thought process.
  18. I've seen a few driving around here, a guy had one back in High School. I always wondered how the [bleep] they handle bumps or slightly scaled ramps, such as driveways.
  19. It worked! Thanks a ton Dizzle, this helps me so much! You have my eternal gratitude.
  20. You do?! I would be forever grateful if you can upload it and link it to me. I really miss it, and it'll help me remember some of the architectural designs I had.

    What lifestyle is that?
  22. Been working on my new city lately. It's the same concept as my old one, if anybody remembers, but lost the original file.

I just checked the "Trending" page on 9gag. I had to look at 25 other posts before I found a rage comic. I don't get the hate towards 9gag really. It's pretty much equal to any other meme-humor website, but I've never heard anyone on this forum complain about those. There's some stupid posts but there's some funny mixed into it too. Although I find some of them funny, however, I can understand why some people dislike memes so much. i do hate it when people put 'le' before everything in a comic though. It always felt a lot though, more than nessessary. But maybe I should of rephrased it, every single post being a meme. It gets tiring to the point that when I see a meme/rage face I cringe a little in the inside.

I got tired of meme faces. It's ok to a point but having every single post on 9gag a rage comic? No it gets [bleep]ing old.
