  1. So why are some religious people intolerant of sciences (evolution, Big Bang Theory, etc)? I think we can all agree religion doesn't make people backwards and intolerant, it's manipulative preachers and idiots who read religious books as literal facts. I wish a lot more people understood organized religion is a crowd controller. A bunch of modern day religious concepts were made to control the population. Gay marriage was forbidden to create families so people had to work thus making a stable society. Christian holidays were made to go hand-in-hand with old Roman pagan holidays to get converts, this I would think this is blasphemous. Islam was promoted to bring stability and get recruits for the Amir's conquests. Religion was organized so the people in power can maintain their power through a stable society. So obviously when science disproved something in religion, it was a threat to the organization's power. Nowadays though, in most countries of the world, the federal system creates the best stability in itself. So religion can return to it's origins: a personal belief system to live an enriched life, not to oppress and become intolerant of other people because of what organized religion thought was unfit to their rule.
  2. I really starting to intolerate the Justin Bieber hate. Don't people have better things to do than write a paragraph on how Bieber is a "massive talentless [bleep]"? I don't think people understand, if a big record label asks you to sing and pays you thousands of dollars, nobody would refuse that offer regardless of their singing skill. It all stems down to "my genre isn't as popular as JB pop". Well no shit, preteen girls don't like metal and rock. <_<
  3. TESO is a money gimmick. They're not going to waste their time and money making it as smooth as the first-person action game of Morrow/Obliv/Skyrim, you people better start remembering that. Personally, I don't really have an opinion of this game. I love TES but I don't think I'd pay to play an MMO again.

Don't be a snitch, don't turn them in. That's just being an unreasonable ass over no reason. Breaking up is a real possibility in every relationship, so why would you ruin her life like this? Indirectly and subconsciously, you are blackmailing her to make her remain your girlfriend. Then you blame the other guy more than your girlfriend for breaking up with you. Women are not objects, they have free will and a right to choose who to be with. You can't be mad at her not liking you no more; either blame yourself or accept the fact things move on.
  5. I can't be sure there are or are not gods in the multiverse, but I can assure you if there are, he's not going to be anything like the "morally good God". A supreme being with infinite power and wisdom, knows everything and all outcomes...lets certain human beings suffer? God isn't merciful or kind, he's an ass for not helping.

Do what I did with mine and just stick it inside the computer? An external hardrive as in I can it take place to place; and the adapter it's connected to so it can use USB is of a different size of the hardrive, so it's too side-heavy and flimsy.

I consider food and drink to be my poison, like other people have drugs or booze, I'm not giving up food even for a fasting. I've also found a weekend project to do: create a case for my newly created external harddrive salvaged from malfunctioning electronics.
  8. It only works out because we see it as an satsifactory end. If somebody wanted to become an Surgeon, he would be satisfied with being a doctor or nurse considering the hard work, financial requirements, and studying it required. Or, ff somebody wanted to become an accountant, he would be satisfied with being a retail store manager considering the hard work, financial requirements, and studying it required. Thus it 'worked out'.
  9. Ha, I haven't played RuneScape for years but I remember the old legends and dupe story. Incredible how that had such an effect years later with the value of rares.
  10. Yeah, we don't condone such things in OT.
  11. Not grabbing the sports almanac, of course.

So is like, gas cheap for you to make so many casual flights?
  13. Rule #1 of TV production: They always go downhill past a certain point. Unfortunately, creators don't have ownership rights after that certain point and can't cancel the show and save their dignity. Fortunately, some people understand this and don't hold it against them.
  14. People who use their drunken state as an excuse are some of the worst ignorant I've come to notice. Show no mercy.
  15. Oh something about continously firing at a flying sticky demo through the flight and landing from a-longish-distance-for-heavies. About a quarter of the server agreed I was hacking to some extent though, with my high KD/score. :P
  16. Oh Jesus. Better get that idea out of my head now. Today I was accused of using auto-aim because I was owning so much as Heavy, getting an average KD of 10.
  17. Funny thing is, if students understand the History, they can score high on quizes, normal tests, state tests, and SATS without much studying.
  18. They're not going to court over this; just proof to show the principal.
  19. ^^ Crazy ass pictures, man. Anyway, I got a question: are Bill Hats even sold with metal? I've heard so many offers/estimates with keys or irl money. Or is that what the market has become now?
  20. Buy a house, car, new appliances and furniture, pay off my debt and live easy as I return to school and become a history professor.
  21. It's not SO bad. You're simply forced to blink if you don't do it before the meter runs to 0. So no real penalization to speak of, but it could screw you over at a crucial moment. I'm saying things are going to occur that won't make me comfortable sleeping after a game session when I blink.
  22. I like the feature that makes you blink; I'll regret liking it later, I can tell.
  23. Go along to see where it goes, but don't take it up seriously. The words "relationship" and "forgive" in a sentence is always tied with drama: personal observations and experience.
  24. And when there's a valid problem, the customer service guys don't have the power to change it and becomes a great, circlejerk of call transfers.
