  1. And where the hell did I say open relationships were wrong in any way? The reason why I don't like cheaters is the emotional damage they do on their partner. If the couple both consent to a open relationship, then nobody gets hurt and thus nothing is wrong. You're viewing this as I'm the old conservative priest and you're the trendy guru, in a battle of black vs. white. It's [bleep]ing not. So you can see how I don't agree with the article, with it's bluntly justifying cheating in closed relationships? I don't give a damn if you and your partner have an open relationship, but if you want to date someone within the mainstream society, one who wants a closed relationship, leave your biological-happy-instinct justification bullshit out.
  2. So there's only two opitions? Hate men/women or enjoy cheating? Couldn't there be 'hate cheaters'? Because you're not making sense at all - you say you don't like cheating then praise it into bringing the world eternal happiness? Oh and of course, everybody is "following the rules like a drone" and you're the only enlightened thinker here.

It's basically sort of the same thing. Employers like smart society people - because they're smart. Getting invited to one is basically being equals. Plus, there are no rules in the professional world. No rules.
  4. But what is black culture? Being raised in the hood and talking about the difficulty of life being poor? What the hell is black culture without going into generalizations that blacks would find offensive if I (a white person) said? American culture vs. Hispanic culture is a bit easier to define, but really, its' the same thing just in Spanish. Less baseball more football, talk shows, and comedy skits. So between Black and White culture in the US it's...sort of the same, just with black hosts or white hosts? Actually, come to think of it, the only big differences I see between White/Black/Hispanic cultures on TV is just their comedy. But BET isn't based entirely around that neither is all of TV. I asked more questions than I would of thought in the making of this post.
  5. Wow, a bit obsessive in trying to prove "what they taught you is ALL WRONG!" eh? Well, your morals vs. instinct is the typical biological argument, then you suggest to reject the moral/social norm to better promote ourselves - however, we didn't come to this point of humanity by following our own instincts. There was a society we built and rules we should damn well follow if we wish to remain part of the society - unless your goal IS to live like a caveman? Trying to justify any sort of relationship biologically works at times, since who can argue about the logic of nature, but post-sex relationships aren't natural they are man made. Trying to fit natural biology into it just doesn't work, because it is man-made. So yes, I hate the article for trying to justify cheating when these men clearly know the norms of society. Perhaps though, I should feel pity for these fools who think can change the system? No, I'll rather hate, for what damage they cause to their partner.

It's a donation box to some charity.
  7. Congrats FlyingJJ!
  8. Aw poor Honda, spending 10 grand in their already dwindling coffers. Good job to her. She may not be experienced in cars, but it's hurting the super corporations so it's ok in my book.
  9. I'm always in favor of adding different perspectives to history teaching. That is, after all, the proper way of studying it. Making a unique month for it just seems to make it get removed from the mainstream school courses though.
  10. By that logic, then Black History Month composes all of Africa's history? From pre-history through the great migration, ancient history, medieval, and modern? Of course I mean within American history, just like Black. I mean, the logic for Black History month is to give an oppressed people a month of memorial yet the Hispanics were just as much segregated and discriminated against along with the blacks. Not to mention Asians, Native Americans, and every non-white race who lived in America. But only Blacks get a History Month. So this focus on Blacks is really unnecessary and a bit of reverse racism - since nobody else (non-white) gets one. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT Hispanics aren't a race. But my argument is to prove the point that everybody should get a month or nobody does. Asians now recently get something too and it's not called History neither.
  11. What I don't get is, why does Hispanics only have a pride month and not a history month? :? But yeah, I agree with Mr. Freeman. Stop talking about racism and it will go away. Why didn't I grew up to be a racist? Because in my childhood my parents didn't taught me colours.

Yeah, glad someone understands it. Meh, if it doesn't grow to physical abuse, once the women agrees to it in the beginning that should be it, I say.
  13. Giordano replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
Did you seriously just imply that most women lie about being raped? In a teenage/young adult social setting? Yes. There's really no need to state those things in such envioments. As for Riku's case, I don't know how good of a relationship they have or the setting she told him, but if a recently-acquainted person tells you she was raped...chances are no, she hasn't and is just making it up for attention; from my experience.
  14. Giordano replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
Considering the vast majority of rape victims don't report or even say they were raped, pretty sure women who say there were, really weren't. I take all rape statements with a pitch of salt, unfortunately to my experiences with such statements.
  15. Yea. I wouldn't pay more than 10 bucks to enter a competition.
  16. Yeeeah I ain't trying that. :geek: Started a spellsword character. It's pretty fun merging magic and melee into one.

Heh, Democracy. Garrymandering and party suppression galore. <_< That really sucks Nom, I imagine the teacher isn't one to think outside the box...which is bad enough, but being a history teacher out of all things...
  18. I don't see the problem here? People go to the hospital for treatment and doctors don't ask how you got injured. LATER, in recovery, they ask for payment. Either they don't or do have insurance, the police will investigate the crimes. Doctors don't ask how you got injured, so why does it matter?

I have returned home! Through 15 degree weather, 1½ feet of snow, ice and blizzards, I am back home in sunny rainy so. California.

*sigh* The Republicians... if it wasn't for their ultra-religious, xenophoic attitude/beliefs, they would be the best party.

Truckers get paid per mile right? Per mile, per load.
  22. Giordano replied to Da Pirates's topic in Off-Topic
Hah, talking about deliveries: truck drivers. Nobody ever tips them, yet they go through perilious roads and weather. Hell, sometimes THEY have to pay to get the load off the trailer. Pizza delivers got it easy.

I tip when I tip and don't let others decide for me.
  24. I like it, actually. Make-up is fantastic - hell, it was designed to please the male's eyes.
  25. Humans in GENERAL are contradicting, yapping buffoons. Just that men and women stand on two different, but equally idiotic, platforms.
