Wannabe historians who know nothing out of 1939-1945.

Look at the numbers, Harper is the one that spent the most money in a long time, and only the "Canada Action Plan" ads cost more than the Liberal's sponsorship scandal and failed to create jobs. They're even spending on ads for a program that still doesn't exist. How about the criminal investigation going on currently in Harper's office? Not saying that LIberals or NDP are better, we never know what kind of spending they'll do, but what I believe is it's time for change from this government that's not environment friendly and only believes in oil. Think what you like, but I probably won't continue this debate as political debates never end well. You are both wrong. Elect me as Supreme Chancellor and Canada will become the richest, most advance country in the world.

These last couple of days were busy. I fully understand now when someone says they wish for more hours in the day. Typically I don't do anything for the weekend and most of the week. Last Thursday, having missed my difficult math class because "I didn't want to go" I figured I'd just catch up my homework and learn the new stuff over the weekend. Should of done that on Friday, but video games are funner. Saturday I worked all day until the evening. I set off to do my work then but I texted/talked with this new girl I met until midnight. Lost that time. Sunday I worked on some, then I had to go to work. After it I went out drinking with some of my co-workers till 5AM. One of the funnest nights I've had in a while. Monday, I cant believe I woke up after only 3 hours of sleep to make it to my astronomy class where I would ask said girl out to lunch. Unfortunately she wasn't there. Later I went over to a friends house to work on a movie project we're doing. Returned home at 10PM, where under normal circumstances I would of done my homework but sleeping only 3 hours I was exhausted. Now it's 10AM, math quiz in two hours and way behind in my homework. I don't regret anything though. It was the funnest time I've had in months. I managed to get a date tomorrow with the girl, so between that and the absolute blast on Sunday...the last time I was nearly as happy is probably when I first got my job eleven months ago. tl;dr Fun weekend, really behind on my work. Life = good

Play video games is what I do. Or perhaps draw.

I always found BBQ and chicken appetizing but never actually ate it. Perhaps I should.

"People in the work force work together!" One of the biggest lies! There are lazy people you gotta pull along in work too. This is why when I'm a teacher I won't have ANY group work. I don't know what study in the 70s said, but it doesn't make "kids learn better" if half of them don't do anything.

It wasn't dangerous. I didn't slam on my brakes, just slowed down. The former would be dangerous and I'm better than that. Talking about road rage and slowing down, I did that again today. Some ass behind me had his high beams on in a 1-lane road and he was in a hurry too. Joys of driving 20 mph downhill.
-
I had no trouble picturing that. Something similar happened to me: some lady cut me off and I had to slam on my breaks. So I sped in front of her, flipping her off along the way, then braked in front of her. Go. Break. Go. Break. Didn't let her switch lanes neither. I had my bit of fun so I turn on the street I'm supposed to go. The lady then follows me back to the store (where I work as a delivery driver) walks in and yells at my face. At this point I'm like the troll face "u mad?" because I'm not the one who [bleep]ed up and I was really amused she went out of her way to follow me there. My manger broke it up and told her to leave.

So cutting someone off is one thing, speeding up the merging lane to cut others is another, but putting your blinkers to come back on the lane after cutting us off? We all know what you're doing [wagon], no need to "make sure we know what you're doing".

I don't know about you guys, but RuneScape has a special place in my heart. I quit like 5 years ago but it reminds me of my childhood: when the world was a better place and had no responsibilities. Now I listen to the news, read history books, and have several responsibilities. How I miss those days. :(

If I run someone over on Halloween night, I'm not even gonna feel morally/ethically bad. I know on that night I'm going to be extra careful, if you STILL get ran over it must be your fault. <.<

That's awful. Yes. Because if she opens that easily then she's not datable material.

I started bookkeeping again today, might get a better handle on how much I make and spend. I'm surprised I still remember basic accounting, then again, it's not too hard. I've also decided to pick up drawing again, going to buy myself one of those drawing tablets for the computer. Even if I loose interest in drawing again, I could make maps with it...something I STILL like doing after all these years. And welcome to the forums CBC! Hopefully you're a Canadian and not butt cancer.

What the hell. I'll make a list. Do I just write a new thread and post it or must I inform the Top Video Game gods about my arrival?

I always heard bad things about Dell, I don't have any experience on them myself. As for HP, I hate the damn things. Every problem I've had or helped someone else with, on a HP, was either impossible to fix or just a huge pain in the ass. They're way too strict about driver version and legitimacy, of both theirs and 3rd parties.

Not to nitpick, but Persian is a ethnic group in itself. Arab and Persians are two distinct groups. Muslims are religious, whereas a Persian could be atheist. Many old world countries are founded by ethnic lines: Hungary, Poland, Persia, Japan, Germany, etc. They're all their own ethnic and national identities. I see no problem with a Mexican identifying themselves as Mexican to Hispanic. Latin America is a big and diverse place, after all. However, I do agree with the flag waving. Especially during immigration marches! Wanting to become an American citizen while waving a Hispanic country flag is idiotic.
-
Because they're talking domestically. If an American asks an American what he is, he isn't going to say American. If a Frenchman asks an American what he is, he IS going to say American. Any hyphenated classification at that point wouldn't make much sense. In addition, I assume you're a Anglo-American ("real" American) See's All? If you are, understand that immigrants do not associate with your classification. To them, an American is the English-speaking white person whose country they're moving into and they themselves are from Africa/Mexico/Poland/etc. This doesn't get erased until the next or two generations down.

Nick Pizzo (one of the commenters) is complaining about the outcome. Go back to Sicily! Maria Gruba is complaining about the outcome. Go back to Mexico! Kaleb Trahan is complaining about the outcome. Go back to...get outta America! If there's anything I hate more than Anglo-Americans being racists, its other immigrant-descendants being racist* *yes, Anglo-Americans are immigrant-descendants but there's no denying they are the foundation of the "American" culture.

No, it's just personal. Its the freeway I grew up next to, the one that takes us to all the nice places (malls, the beach, Vegas). Same goes for the CA60. Of course there's duplicates on sale but that's not what a "real" sign was. Yes, to have a 'real' sign would mean theft, which is why I don't have any... As for funny signs, I hear there WAS a town in Austria called Fu*king. They changed their name because too many people stole the sign. :D
