    Today...

I always wanted to snag a sign... preferably a CA State 60 shield or I-15 one. Oh. Soul mate. Yes, congrats. How would I get a 60 shield I wonder.
  2. Lower, middle, upper class everybody participates in the American drinking culture: spend a lot, drink a lot. I merely find it hypocritical that smoking is one of the few vices that doesn't get you drunk/high yet it is banned from advertising...because lots of people get injured by smoking drivers! On an unrelated note, I find it the misuse of 'middle class' mildly annoying (not referencing to you, Ginger). Middle classmen are supposed to be highly educated professionals (lawyers, professors, accountants, bankers) or owners of capital (businessmen). Not sururban families having two jobs 9-5 with their house as their biggest asset. That's just the upper working class! Whatever makes them feeling significant and relevant I guess.
  3. Well, they can't show anyone actually drinking in beer commercials if that counts for anything. That doesn't help much. Nor does chasing a beer-strapped goat across a street.
  4. It doesn't mean you're addicted, just weak willed. Does anybody find it hypocritical that smoking advertisements have been outlawed in daytime TV yet alcohol hasn't? I feel the lesser evil lost.

If its anything like mimicking 3D in Adobe After Effects, which I doubt, I understand it's usefulness. Are you making a game? So apparently by my coworkers, our new general manager is a complete [bleep]. I know our old manager was super relaxed and chill and anyone after him would be worse, but not by this degree... As long as she doesn't meddle in driver's affairs in choosing our deliveries I won't have too much of an issue with her. Unfortunately I think she's implententing the old-broken rule of not being able to take three deliveries at once. :-?
  6. Saq has a point. How can a women be free to pursue her own desires? What does that say about her? About the society? Women shouldn't be allowed to wear heels or anything 'exotic' because it degrades everything around them. A good society consists of sexual purity. Amen.
  7. I forgot to mention, my PC hasn't broken yet and I've had it about a year. No problems neither. I understand your concern though and I did risk big in getting this computer. Typically I don't buy generics unless there's a bigger plan for them...the way I buy things is that the important stuff is well-built and top notch, necessary components (but not vital to my personal work) are second-rate. The rest, generic. I have a secondary/backup HDD from a well-known brand, spent good money on it. Processor is AMD, which is not the best but not true generic. My RAM sticks and graphic card is generic. This built together by a lesser-known PC company drastically reduced the price and maintained stability and power. ...now if we're talking about other, more simpler things like car tires, food brands, pens, random crap...I typically wouldn't buy generic for those things because, as you say, it'll break. (Especially if made of plastic. )
  8. Read professional and customer reviews. If there's something wrong with the model, you will find out. Yeah. Sometimes though it will be alright and you'll get a great deal. My desktop costs 500 less than it should simply because it has more generic hardware in it.

    Today...

Some house I pass by every day has a yard sale every 3ish weeks. Either they got WAY too much stuff or they got WAY too much useless junk. Today (and yesterday) is humid and hot and rains when the suns out. :-?

I have learned/understood the basics of ze Source Filmmaker.
  11. Guide/tutorials on YouTube that either: 1. Take 20 mins to teach what you can do in 4½. 2. Add annoying music

    Today...

Spent an hour reading the threads about RS3 and this Battle of Lumby thing in the General forums. That puts perspective on how bored I was yesterday.

I think people will still use those phrases, it still means the same thing. I always hear hang up and roll the window...I guess rewind is going away since people (myself included) just say "go back".

Yes, yes he is. I wish I had his willpower. Today I discovered my computer has a CDROM tray. Who knew. On the subject of outdated(ing) technology...somebody rung the store I work at asking if he left credit card back there. He said it had a picture of a cassette on it and asked if I even knew what one looked like. Damnit, I'm not THAT young. :-?

At least you didn't die during your internship... Congrats Blake.
  17. I just scroll down see nothing really exciting or new and return to TIF/another forum. Repeat in 30 minutes and that's how I spend my uneventful days...

    Today...

I found out my local hospital has a McDonalds sharing the same parking lot. You'd think there'd be a zoning law for that in Commiefornia.
  20. Europa Universalis IV I was about to skip over this game, but, after reading the development diaries I got convinced.
  21. Hell, maybe she too is stuck 200 miles from civilization in the woods somewhere. There's no harm in trying, no? It's not like you're stuck with her for better or worse. And, as opposed to what some would say a bad thing, worst comes out you get a new friend.

Last time I ran a mile (years ago, still after high school) I clocked at 11...I used to do it 7-8. I shudder how I'll do now.
  23. 100 troops at the battle itself? Mod. Technically, you can only have 16v16 or something like that. You can have 1,000 reinforcements unmodded, but that's not the same as on the battlefield.
