To be honest I'm sending that to all my friends. =P~
  4. Yes, it's not necessary when there's been at least 7 topics about signature previewing, each topic the majority is saying we should have some sort of function to preview them. I think the majority of members would like this feature regardless, also guthix, your posting it's not necessary is not necessary but you post because you want to. We want a preview function to view our signatures in an easier way. If it took you just a minute to post every post(and this isn't including typing up the text), you wouldn't be posting the things you said in your post. But you do because it's easy, and fast. That's all we want is something easy and fast, not something that causes a fuss.
  5. Compile a list of F2P guides, all of them. PM a moderator, ask them to make a sticky that contains all the F2P Guides, for easy and quick viewing. Be sure to give them the list of the guides. As you said yourself, there isn't many of the F2P guides, so a sticky would be better suited, and I don't know why a mod wouldn't agree to the above, but then again they'll probably find a reason.
  6. And why have we had around 3-4 people posting about awards? Did this happen near the end of last year or something?
  7. Break your leg, then you'll have tons of time to play. ;)
  8. Those are really good, I was going to actually do something like that but you got it first.
  9. Congratz all, feel good for being selected out of 300 members of Tip.It. Great achievement. Good luck moderatoring, hope you all do a good job. ;)
  10. Screws wakka's blog and heads over to Leesters to set up camp. ;) Welcome back. ^_^
  11. This'll be my review on this BTW: - Clan Wars - Bounty Hunter - Christmas Event - Wilderness spectral dark beast Clan Wars Arena: If anyone has read a previous post of mine here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?p=5269987#5269987 Then you should know what I'm expecting from this update. This update is suppose to be a way that clans can war each other, one vs one, with any amount of opts, using the clan chat system. As details are not specific I'm going to post speculations. My main concern is how this type of mini-game will be compared to a real life scenario of a war. In a life scenario, the options of what is allowed, and aren't allowed are controlled by the Leaders. Though since it is up to the members to abide by these set-out rules, and sometimes rules are broken, such as no overheads, this causes clans to lose/win. Will the Clan Arena Mini-Game have the amount of options that previous staking had? As in, will certain armour pieces be allowed to be turned on or off?Can certain food be allowed or not? How long is prep time? Will a large diverse option list of what, and who, and stats allowed in the war be included? Without such a list, the clan arena will be exactly like the wilderness just without crashers, and looters. And it will still be up to the Leaders to make the rules, and have their members abide obediently. With this however, no one will be able to cheat, making clean wars, and probably less flame. Another concern is the size of the arena? Will the arena size be determined by the amount of options in each war? Will there be different arenas? Will there be things to hug, or hide in? Would there be possible third-party weapons(catapults, barracks) like in castle wars? Also, dying in this mini-game. Will you keep or unkeep your items? Another thing here is, if you keep your items, the point of warring in this area will be useless as most people would prefer risking crashers, and cheaters over not having any rune weapons or p2p armour and weapons to loot. Jagex better acknowledge this. Also will Jagex direct this towards mains more than towards pures? If so, and if they do like in past updates, this could be a total turn off to pure clans. Even though I can't really predict if it will be a turn off by whatever reason, I'm sure Jagex would have been able to find a reason. Though I'm not saying Jagex will, just with past averages, this update may be a turn off for pures. Overall it should be good as long as most of the above variables are implemented. Bounty Hunter. Another mini-game. Not surprised as an entirely new Hiscores list was made for mini-games. Jagex seems to be trying to implement player vs player, and updating the wilderness. Jagex used this entire year to make higher levels happier, and they did a good job. I wonder now if Jagex will be updating one of the oldest places and mini-game of all, pking. For us pures, I hope so. As anything pking updated is probably going to benefit us even if its crappy when presented. This mini-game implies that you will lose your items, and that the rank system will probably be very similar to the Duel Tournaments rank system, or the same type of application. Also I'm expecting this area to be added on the northern end of the wilderness(a new island? Or to the East of the wilderness, as it's all water, and easily implemented around there. Also JAgex has hinted towards improving their game map by some hundred squares in all directions. Anyways, the concept behind this would be like castle wars, with just a few things taken out, and a few things brought in, while things are just polished. I'm pretty sure that this mini-game will be run by the same engine that runs CW. As the two sound similar in only that there are no teams, and you have to find the selected person. Hopefully you'll be separated by quite a lot from your first opponent as to get prepared and have a look around, and get a grasp of whats going on, then again who wouldn't love to be hurled in and then koed in an instance? Anyways, it sounds good, hopefully you get what the other person drops, hopefully you can either bank the items pked, or you lose them while in the mini-game. Also hopefully there is a unique reward for coming in certain places within the mini-game, ticket based as to stop cheaters. ;) Christmas Event. Just reminds you how fast the years gone by already. This as always is a good way to end the year, and bring on the next year. It sounds a lot more fun than last years however, very more appealing to the ear. Let's just hope it's placed in a more secure area, and possibly a better location, as well as a better story line than a cheap one from last year. ;) Wilderness spectral dark beast. Monsters or souls that can pop-up to attack you at any given time, multi, or non-multi? Sounds devilish and seems like Jagex is adding in something to increase the danger or insecurity of the wilderness. Hopefully these are well programed randomly generated events, that hit 6-20 on a player, with no given warnings and such, and would disappear if you kill them or run away from them. As well they better give good drops as it's kind of pointless to add something dangerous but not increase the amount of gp or treasure to be found. I just hope it's f2p/p2p. As in p2p you've already got 9 things to worry about, while in f2p only about 2-3. It would probably be better to add in both anyways, as pking is used far more by f2pers, and would be greatly more appreciated by the pking community. All we can hope for is a good month, with astonishing thought-through ideas and mini-games/updates. Not half hearted ones that kill an aspect of the game or two. December sounds exciting, and a large month, hopefully we aren't disappointed, and Jagex knows what they're getting into when they announce 'Clan Arenas' when it is such a serious topic amongst clanners. As in it better be appealing to the clan community or they will reject it and flame it. ;)
  12. I stopped to think that quite a while ago, even if there aren't letters for either side, is it fair to just continually post about one side? Wouldn't it be better to have a new topic revolving around the letters? You may have been the Crew Leader for two years and then some, but you aren't now, and unless your keeping up with the runnings of Tip.It to a good detail your guess, and mine is the same when it comes to having an opinion about what happens with the letters. I mean no disrespect, you were a great crew leader, but it's past, and I'm only pointing that out. Yes, it doesn't hold water, as I've clearly given at least 11-14 facts from the letter, and the previous article. I would send one, however I believe in posting things or doing things that I believe truly matter, or is worth the time I put into them. The outcome of submitting a letter and getting it posted on the site isn't a desirable outcome as it is posting on the forums for me. I do hold value of the letters, just most of the topics that the letters are for, or articles are for are either old, or unappealing. This topic however isn't worth Tip.It getting a letter from me to the editor about my opinion on the entire 'Change' topic. I've only posted on this discussion topic since I was getting fed up with all the same sided opinions. >.>
  13. GRatz mate on 85. ^_^ Too bad I couldn't of been there. =( Gratz!@!@!2
  14. RuneScapes has far more detail, and looks like the effort was put into it. The others look like 5 second jobs on PS.
  15. It's possible may take a few months, even with a team of 4-5 programmers. It is possible though, just a lot of applications have to be executed, or enough patterns stored for any scenario. Algorithms. <3
  16. No, if he said they were level 50-70s, then those who are 80+ mainly the rcers already existent will have n problem, just selling they may.
  17. Macros are easily made unique for every single event done. (In Jagex's eyes) 2 words: Random intervals. Or Random Generated Text, or whatever that program is called(forgot).
  18. InkofDeath replied to dark_blob's topic in Off-Topic
Well it asn't Ash+lesbo, or Ash+Em, or anyone. So I guess we can be happy that we got some sort of a scene like this. =S
  19. 50-70cb you say? I might just have some fun then. Killing rc autoers lol. But I wouldn't be surprised if they were actually autoing the abyss now. Anyways, if it is so, Jagex better start liking pures as they will be the ones killing these guys. ;)
  20. Why when I type in the link, it asks me to open the image? >.>
  21. Actually only between 1 million and two million people pay. ;) Happy B-Day Andrew. I'd give you a B-day present, but I can't afford nice things since you took staking away(sarcasm, and no I am not or was a staker).
  22. When bots can avoid detection by Jagex, that is when Jagex is not doing their job. If bots ever could avoid detection they'd be easily detectable as other accounts would use the same motion, and patterns when confronted with a complex pattern in-game(such a a complex random event). Then again if someone can develope a software program that doesn't repeat a pattern, and its actions are different in any case, and only similar enough to look like human motions/actions, then yes it may be difficult for Jagex to detect. But by that time, software to prevent this will be available, and in-game activities will stop this. -.-
  23. But to my limited knowledge it would be far easier to make a window/pop-up with your signature, and an example post. What your saying is having the code redirect you to a post, and if the signature looked bad, you'd have to go back to the siganture area in profile. MY idea is: Edit Signature>Preview Button>Window Pops Up And Contains An Example Post, So You Can See The Signature In A Simulated Post Environment. ;)
  24. EXP@Dusties range wise isn't bad is what I heard some time ago. Meleeing I heard was below average, ogres for melee were better? I don't know, but the drop is also rare, and will take you probably two weeks to a month? Playing 3 hours a day? I don't know, just speculating from experience from others. ;) Tip.It's letter made me kinda of angry at them, I don't know, read what I commented on the discussion topic, do you agree with me, or do you have something else in mind? Sigh>.>
  25. Jagex in my mind is doing an excellent job stopping RWT people. They are also doing a crap job to their customers/players. Overall Jagex get's an F as players come before the RWT/Cheaters, even if getting rid of them is in the benefit of the players, the steps you take have to be neutral or good to the players, not hurtful like the staking update.
