  1. Even compared to the worst reward of xp, i can easily make the 22.5m an hour required for cash to be more efficient(and usually, when using tokens on xp, you actually get up to 2 xp/token overall). Tokens generally aren't worth it for recharging at lower levels, too(as you have much more worthwhile rewards to purchase with them), so that suggestion really isn't as uniform as you might think.
  2. Actually, the fall started the week of January 21st, which was quite a while after the referendum was announced, for Sharks at least. Given the history of bots and shark prices, it isn't unreasonable to suggest that bots were a factor in the massive decline of the price (Sharks were stable at around 1k ea in 2006, until the peak of the bot problem, when they sunk to 600 ea. This happened to other resources, such as feathers and dragon bones, as well). It is unreasonable to suggest that they were the only factor. There's the previously mentioned power creep and the lack of demand; they aren't the best food anymore, and food isn't the best for healing. Dude, this is TIF. Are you really suggesting that something about the economy or infact anything about the game isn't down to bots and botting and think you are going to get away with it? PFFFT silly rabbit.
  3. Who the F are u?? bro its bro pal. WTF, who the hell are you??? :ohnoes: Also i think you missed a comma before pal, pal.
  4. It's mage based.(oh, and sorry for the spam) Using bandos is stupid because if you really wanted to kill them faster you'd go to ct.
  5. Flipping is much easier nowadays. Getting 200m a day with 2x max cash is actually very, very easy. Before free trade, it was much more of a hassle with timing and everything, now you can just merch the hell out of 1-3 items.
  6. umg speedy bananas with minus million mod and 2k deaths. Still waiting on proper floors(occ/war, no deaths).
  7. Best way to hunt for a hood is floor 30-35 med. 2nd best would be 18-29 med. For solo, it's 30-35 med, for 5:5 it's 30-35 large until proven otherwise. Giving up half your xp for 5 people to hunt a hood sounds ridiculous.
  8. Because you hide underground right? :P Or maybe because i don't go around raging at bots. Nothing i do in rs is significantly or at all effected by bots, and if i'm not deadset on finding and bothering with bots, i can really completely ignore that part of it. There were bots before free trade. There was rwting before free trade. These things are nothing new. On the other side, the market situation in rs is MUCH better. You can buy any item at any time at any price. Serious manipulation is almost completely exclusive to a select few items, and doesn't have significant effect. The wilderness is back. Staking/luck moneymaking is back. These used to be a major part of high level content that were wiped out. And what do we pay? Have a higher number of bots at places legit players rarely or never train(only black demons are a legitimate problem here). Oh, and a hundred botting threads everywhere. BooHoo.
  9. How often would you otherwise be potting and what potions would you use? Extremes every 3 min which extremes?(def and ranged boost from ovl is usually useful, too)
  10. Who the F are u??
  11. How often would you otherwise be potting and what potions would you use?
  12. Overloads. If you don't have them, pot as frequently as you can, inv spaces allowing. Every 3-4 minutes is reasonable at average income. What grimys figures don't consider is the extra loot and xp you will get, making the figures even lower.
  13. Voted yes, don't regret it at all. The game has been much more enjoyable for the way i play.
  14. no iron/steel titan doesn't make it much harder to kill in ct, but it basically means you lose out on the reason to be in ct(familiar damage). I'd say it's generally not worth the hassle of ct to kill waterfiends without iron/steel- waterfall would be nearly the same speed, but alot easier.
  15. Tan = critical path Fuzzy = bonus rooms That's exactly what guide mode does. Critical path means those are the bare minimum of rooms that need to be explored in order to complete the dungeon.
  16. Fixed? Yeah, oops. EDIT: Wait no I was right. Was trying to say that a CCS user doesn't run out of casts on the floor very often. They would only run out if they don't know how to properly use it or they have [developmentally delayed]ed binds. Getting all the elemental runes alone for 125 casts would be a major hassle. I've honestly never seen a normal csb user run out of casts, and even for ccs it should be extremely rare(125 casts is 6,25 minutes of continuous casting, which is ridiculous).
  17. When even 6 stab and prayer are more significant(inventory space is crucial), would you really expect someone to give up comp cape for that? Also, spirit cape only works for manual scrolls, so the increase would be highly insignificant. Yeah, it really is that bad. By the figures enaid provided, the kph increase from spirit cape is just 10(compared to no cape/sw cape).
  18. For me(having only done crawlers for summoning xp this month) i have oner 20k summoning xp for around 28 hours at crawlers. Clearly, he isn't using enough scrolls. That said, the number of times you can manually scroll there is limited and doing it too much lowers dps. For me the numbers are around 140-260 for manual-helmet scrolls.
  19. For crawlers, if you are after ranged xp, it's worth using ranged as your combat style, too. Overall, you can manage around 270k ranged xp an hour. The cost would be around 5.5k cannonballs, 400 steel titan scrolls, 13 prayer potions and ranged weapon cost(prefrably ccb repairs+ ~1000 broad bolts). Effigy rate is aound 1/810, killrate with ranged up to 820 an hour(can manage 840 with melee).
  20. Dno about the summoning xp, maybe scrolls used by the helmet don't give any. Othwerise, his xp gains show around 3 hours at crawlers. On average, the total xp gained there should be around 470k an hour, including effigies(effigy rate over 70k kills has been seen to be 1/810).
  21. If you don't record EVERY floor you are in, the log will basically be useless and biased. You can later find the average with good teams, but if you don't record all floors, the average will tell you and us nothing(the attitude you are have is completely the wrong one when it comes to logging floors).
  22. We already have that information. In basically all cases it comes down to level requirements, banking and ease that determine the best methods, there isn't something like willows becoming really good at level 46 woodcutting, as the rates are linear. As said before, other than interest, this doesn't have any other implications(xp rates makes the information redundant, being times easier to test).
  23. Spent way too much time on this(~20 mins, instead of just letting excel do all the work in the first place) but the xp formula is: xp = 8* (level^2 - (2*level) + 100) Alot like the effigy formula, but squared instead of cubed. Generally, looks like a decent D&D- takes little time, monthly and decent xp.
  24. We understand your enthusiasm, but you are really not putting up a strong case for why anyone else should help you, least of all doing anything yourself.
  25. rs2 hasn't been around for 10 years, and the mechanics changed between rsc and rs2. And, as said, i'm not buying your ideas. Xp/h figures seem infinitely more useful to me.
