Micro Transactions vs. Bots...
If the money wasn't created out of thin air or was sold in unalchable items, i'd prefer jagex selling gp. otherwise, bots have a less negative impact.

Before entering TF floors people are expected to have practiced thunderous in c1, and to almost never mess up. Thunderous is the most unforgiving boss and the only point in doing thunderous floors is that everyone knows how to do it perfectly. I see no reason to not be rude to you when you screw people over because of your own laziness. Your posts just shows that you hadn't taken the time to prepare for what was going to happen, and got punished for it(kind of like not doing your homework, isn't it). For the record, perfect thunderous means that you can do it on both sides, without him maging, atleast 20 times in a row. If you can't manage that, only enter flesh floors(as people screwing up thundy is REALLY annoying).

As TIF has a highly nonconstructive view on AHK and the scripts(by that i mean they take advice about it from community moderators) i don't think it's worth promoting any part of AHK here, unless ofcource you want trouble. I agree that the scripts(legal ones) do have their place, but they are by no means required.

I use no f-keys or ahk scripts so yes, you can be completely fine without them.

Red dragonhide/leather
Supply and demand. Once someone tries to buy a considerable amount and other people follow suit, the price will increase. So yes, the price may be cheap right now, but that doesn't instantly make a great training method, and, as said, even with the lower price, for most people, it wouldn't be the most efficient method(primarily because of their income). I honestly can't see how pointing these facts out can be considered trolling, and if anything, making conclusive decisions upon a minute amount of data is. The leather isn't buying below med now, and with the ge restrictions and facts about supply and demand, good luck buying 99 crafting in one day.

Red dragonhide/leather
I like grimy's spreadsheets, but if you read the original post of this thread you would know that they would lie in this case, as the red leathers bought several hundred coins under guide. Which the spreadsheets are unable to take account for as they go off guide prices.. The current guide prices are accurate enough to best compare training methods. As there are no real crashes, the guide price will always be the best approximation for the real price, better than any estimate a player can come up with buying a relatively small portion of the supply. It's likely, as the prices adjust, the price of red and green leather will be corrected in time.

L2 grimys spreadsheets (and no, i'm not going to link them and get banned) Red is more expensive than blue and barely more efficient at 5m income. Still, as battlestaves are the preferred method, that's 2x cheaper and a little more efficient at 5m income(but limited by supply of staves).

I believe it's around 147k an hour with dragon axe+splitting on arctic pines. And yes, that kind of pace is extremely hard to maintain.

better off trying to survive. You'll benefit from pushing yourself, even if it might cost you what minimal damage you would have gained from wrathing. What is the maximum damage wrath can inflict upon a single target? In a 3x3 grid that could be worthy of multiple combat turns, seems worthwhile, especially if you don't care about XP (beyond 120). It can hit 3x your prayer lvl. It's pretty good when there's 2+ primal warriors and lots of other stuff in a gd. The question is, does one death save the whole team 30 seconds, and if it doesn't, it's not worth it and thus discouraged in DGS. I think there should be an added point to the DGS medals that you can't have more than 3 deaths for one.

Donating in real life is sad, too? People can do whatever they want with their own money, and support whatever cause they choose to. I wouldn't say it's necessarily a bad thing to give meaningless game pixels to someone to support them achieve arguably the most significant goal in rs.

Actually, a +10% level mod can be obtained by killing only around 90% of monsters in the dungeon. And in a no gd dung (had one in both c1 and c6), I've gotten -22% level mod before. I was moreso talking about p2p large dungeons, as i believe level mod can go over 10 otherwise. As far as i've seen you need to kill 95%++ monsters to get 10% level mod, usually resulting to people getting 8-9%. As noone has ever got -22% in a p2p large, we can't confirm that. Austin, it highly depends on the mindset of the dungeoneers. As more skillful deaths make for a faster, less frustrating dungeon, it's usually considered ok to take 1-4 deaths. That said, you have to abide by the 30 second rule- if a death you take will save the whole team 30 seconds, it would be your duty to take it. For the average dungeon it would be hard to get survivor with this mindset, but for nonrape really low level mod dungeons that can go to 14-17 minutes, it usually isn't. That said, wrath suiciding is still discouraged.

Anyone? Level mod is basically a percentage of monsters you kill of all the monsters calculated into a modifier for the overall xp which doesn't affect the overall xp in any other way(unlike bonus%). The maximum level mod is 10% for killing 100% of monsters and minimum around -21%(-21% is the lowest anyone has confirmed) for only killing monsters in gds. Every monster, whatever their level, is counted equally for this and it's basically the only penalty for rushing floors. A floor with a really low level mod will be easier than one with a higher one as it will have less monsters/gd's that need to be killed/cleared. No research has been done about exact percentages, but i believe a jmod has given a little information about how it's calculated(though i don't have it right now).

12 minus 9 is.... 1. Wat do. On a related note, prim gaunts are 5,9% more raw dps for prim baxe and 5,3% more raw dps for prim 2h, and this applies to everything you use melee against. Rapier, as it has been shown, is only good in stab situations, and the added bonus just isn't significant enough, so rapier might be making its way out altogether(but for people with a stupidly low defense level, hesitant to mage and not gotten a BN yet).

There are a few things better dungeoneers usually do and don't do, and not picking any food at start or rarely making altars are some of them. They also always pick up blues, herbs and runes and make potions on the fly.

Never did as in the last few posts you've seen here. Has done for a long time(as in defended rapier while everyone has told him to destroy it for a long time) outside of the few posts you've read. You really have a knack for jumping into conversations when you are unaware of the background of them, as in really, really good at it. Not very polite, is it.

The goal is for people to not question anything about the binds we recommend, so when someone has issues with it, we have to explain it in detail. It doesn't matter whether he still has the binds or not, it matters if he understands why baxe+rapier is not an acceptable bind combination, and given that he has questions about it, it is an issue for us. We can't appreciate people arguing binds when they haven't delved into the specifics of them. We have.

Basically what grimy is saying is that rapier+baxe is not an acceptable bind combination, and we have doubts about whether even 2h and rapier will be allowed in the foreseeable future. Grimy has always been behind the decisions regarding this and whatever he says, you have to comply with.

When To Repot?
Ace, are you mad? Grimy gave a perfect answer to his question right off the bat, and his disability to understand it is what causes confusion. The reason grimy didn't provide figures for meaningless income values is because basically anyone with any stats can achieve incomes in the range of 400-800k an hour, assuming they aren't complete morons. If you are going to ask a question, you also have to understand what you are asking, and if you don't understand efficiency, then it's not really worth asking questions about it, is it? For the overload question, for overloads to be more efficient against 3 min ext att/str with melee only combat(not cannoning) you need to make around 11m an hour assuming herblore xp is worthless to you.

That's just a limitation of trade. A perfect item is one that noone else merchants, has as high as possible profit cut and is traded in as high quantity as possible. Usually items with high cut have low trade and vice versa, so it's highly down to the item you choose to merchant. When you are doing bankstanding skills it's easier to manage high trade items, while low trade items are preferable for a more relaxed merchanting strategies(food/runes would be an example of high trade and partyhats as low trade items).
